hi all...i'm new to this group and i'm happy i'm going into days off work so that i can catch up with all the posts and try to get more connected with everyone.. wow, as many have said, it's a busy group :)

so, i'm back from my FET...i was sooo nervous they wouldn't survive the thaw. but they both did.. transferred 2 - 3day embies.. 8 cell grade B and 4 cell grade C.. the first embie was only a 6 cell when frozen but grew today when it thawed!!

so i nearly had an anxiety attack this morning while travelling there, but the rest of the day i've been feeling so peaceful and hopeful..

kris and biochon- congrats!! and to those of you with the unsupportive families- booh onthem, that's awful, i'm so sorry you have to put up with that- eSPECIally the suggestion to have an affair! yikes. my MIL said a couple awful things to me a few years back but i put her in her place and she since keeps her mouth SHUT. in my IVF experience people say stupid shit ALL the time... my all-time favorite was : "why don't you read the book 'the secret'- cause then you'll get pg"

leorira- so glad you're beta has dropped. i know how eager you are to get on with this! good for you, determination has served me well in my journey thus far. riogirl- thanks so much for doing those updates- it's making it easier for me to get involved in the group, cause i can really use the support right now :).. and so glad to hear your follie count is up.. i totally credit DHEA with my improved follie count, and ultimately with the birth of my son <3
and blair- my estrogen pills have been making me nauseous also.. yuk. my clinic has me staying on them for the 2ww, and if BFP- til 10 weeks of pregnancy (along with progesterone)...

well hopefully i'll catch up with more personals soon......baby dust to all!! karen

Bichon- congrats on the 2 blasts and for being PUPO!

Karenvancouver- Glad to hear the embies survived the thaw process and congrats on being PUPO! When is your first Beta?

Well ladies glad you are joining me in crazy town. I thinK I am going to stay away from POAS.... possibly

AFM-- still spotting and a little cramping and of course the dr did say it was "normal"... so DH and I are just trying to stay positive, he played golf and I was at home watching movies with our other kiddos (3 cats & 2 dogs)!

Karenvancouver~ that is great news! :) Good for you, now you are PUPO!

Krisnjer~ Did you get a progesterone check by chance? I'm sorry your worried, but try not to. This is so intense, so we all understand how you are feeling..keep positive.

Rio and Karen~ Thank you so much for your kind words about the loss of our son. As you saw in the pictures he was a precious boy, and brought so much joy to our lives. We've been through a lot, but the future doesn't have to look grim. So we hold onto hope, it's all we have. :)

AFM~ Took my last BCP tonight! Woo Hoo!! So on with the next phase.

Just curious where is everyone from..no need to be specific...I am on the west coast...I think we are all spread out over creation. :) Thinking of all you lovely and crossing all my crossables that things go our way. :)

hey mellow- I'm a west-coaster too. I live in San Diego. Not a native though, transplanted here from Ohio about 7 years ago. I know no one will believe me, but we've had a crappy weather year...at least today was nice and was able to enjoy an afternoon by the coast.

SD~ I'm in SoCal too. :) It's been kinda cold this year, hasn't it. Although the cold here doesn't come close to comparing to Ohio cold...I used to live there too, in Dayton. :) I wondered if that SD meant San Diego. I love it there.

Hey Krisnjet- I had a BFP with my 1st IVF and had some light spotting before my Beta (was nerve-racking) I had no pregnancy symptoms other that the usual stuff from the PIO. I'm dyin' to hear some great Beta numbers from our PUPO ladies!!!

Mellow- Yeah, it's been weird cold here. No one back home let's me complain though. LOL. So many Ohioans in SoCal! Clevelander here. Dayton is a nice area too.

AFM: I'm announcing it in advance--- I am powerless against those sticks. Don't even try to talk me out of it-- save yourselves 'cause this chicka is a lost cause :) My husband goes crazy with the frequency I take pregnancy tests (probably 3-5 a month)....I'm sure I'll start peeing on them the first day after the transfer...I'm totally an addict.... I'll do anything for that few minutes of waiting and hoping before the result. I always visualize what a positive will look like and how I'll tell my DH, etc, etc......total junkie.... I find that testing early helps ease the blow for me when the tests are still negative the day before I'm expecting AF. Then she comes and I'm less devastated. Infertility is such a mind-game. We are find our own little unique ways of coping, huh?

Yeah for hardy, growing embies!! Surely they'll want to snuggle in after being so cold for so long!! Give your tummy a good belly rub from the group to keep 'em nice 'n warm

Hey west coast! I lived in San Diego for 7 years and went to SDSU! Go Aztecs! Now I am in the Bay area of Cali, cold and foggy and windy - yuck! We should do a reunion when all of our November cycle babies turn 1!!! :) Lets see some pics of those 4 legged babies we have!

Bichon - congrats on being PUPO!!! I added your beta date , hope you are feeling better!

Leorira - I fixed your date, glad your beta is coming down and doing a AF dance for you!

Karen vancouver - when is your beta? Congrats on being PUPO too! How exciting! Geesh if I had known all I had to do was read a book I would have canceled IVF! ;) people can be so dumb!

krisnjer - I never POAS before my beta but now I am tempted and I am not even PUPO!!!

mellow - yeay for last BCP pill!!! Your outlook is inspiring!

SD - You little POAS addict! You crack me up!Image which ones do you get and how soon do you do it, educate me! I was thinking of getting the crappiest one around so that if I got a BFP I knew it was a strong beta!

rio, that 'POAS addict' character cracks me right up :D ...despite all my obsessing, i never POAS during ivf. not sure why.

karen scorpio- it broke my heart to see in your sig that you lost twins at 23 weeks.. must have been so devastating. i caan't imagine. and mellow, to hear that you lost a son too.. i don't know what to say. i can't imagine such heartbreak. and leorira- you lost twins also i think? why, why why, does PTL happen? i mean, we make it through the first trimester and think everything will be fine.. when i was pg with my son i had 2 major bleeds at 9 and 10 weeks and then bled right through til 13 weeks. i never felt at ease or like i was REALLY gonna have a baby for the rest of my pregnancy. i was so nervous. i think i was a typical ivf woman...still scared it would never happen.

anyways, that little monkey is finally peacefully napping right now :) and i'm so blessed. i keep telling myself that in case this cycle doens't work out- i'm already soo blessed.

happy stims/ 2ww/ AF dance/ ect to everyone!!

oh ya=- my beta is Nov 10 !!

Hi girls yay its Friday!!! :D :D

SDtrying----- I am so with you, I am a total POAS Junkie. I already bought 20 of the (10 miu sensitive) and I will be testing out my trigger which means the first test I take is the morning after trigger. For me it is much easier to test every day instead of placing all of my hope and faith in the beta day...I just can't handle that much pressure. Anyways soon we will be making ourselves crazy with these sticks :D

Riogirl-----my husband is from San Diego and my dad is a professor at USC but I live in PA. I would love a reunion just the thought of our babies being 1 made me smile. As for pics of furbabies...I would love to post mine but I can't seem to figure out how to make the whole photobucket work. Also since I am doing an FET I think I am now in the ER/ET section. I am on day 9 and will be triggering really soon.

Krisnjer----How is it being PUPO any unusual symptoms? I admire your patience with waiting till your beta. Have a great weekend

Leorira------where is that AF when you need it. I am doing the dance for you :) So glad that beta is finally down

babydreams I think we are in the same shoes now. I too have to monitor ovulation so this is day 2 of testing and so far so good

Mellow------so no more bcp's what's next :) I can't wait till we both have our BFP's

Karenvancuver----yay for being PUPO I can't wait to be there

Blair how are you?

AFM So I have made it to day 9 of my cycle and Monday I get my lining check and possibly trigger.....Oh I can't wait but I really need to not ovulate sooner and since this is a natural FET I am constantly on my toes but excited!!!
p.s. thanks for understanding about the family comments---no unfortunately they are not kidding when they suggest I have an affair but I am just trying to stay away from them while we are doing this and remain as stress free as possible
