Looking for November Cycle Buddies

So for months I have hated every time I started my AF because it was another month I didn't get pregnant. And it never failed to come on the iday t was due. So wouldn't you know the one time I'm begging for it to come so I can start on my BCP and ger on this journey already~MY AF IS LATE!!! So frustrated! Sorry had to vent!

I had ER today. Only 5 eggs this time. Last time I had 14 & RE thought I would have more this time. We have one frozen. Just waiting to hear how many fertilized.

Hey west coast! I lived in San Diego for 7 years and went to SDSU! Go Aztecs! Now I am in the Bay area of Cali, cold and foggy and windy - yuck! We should do a reunion when all of our November cycle babies turn 1!!! Lets see some pics of those 4 legged babies we have!

Bichon - congrats on being PUPO!!! I added your beta date , hope you are feeling better!

Leorira - I fixed your date, glad your beta is coming down and doing a AF dance for you!

Karen vancouver - when is your beta? Congrats on being PUPO too! How exciting! Geesh if I had known all I had to do was read a book I would have canceled IVF! people can be so dumb!

krisnjer - I never POAS before my beta but now I am tempted and I am not even PUPO!!!

mellow - yeay for last BCP pill!!! Your outlook is inspiring!

SD - You little POAS addict! You crack me up! which ones do you get and how soon do you do it, educate me! I was thinking of getting the crappiest one around so that if I got a BFP I knew it was a strong beta!

babydreamz - you are so close I moved you to ER/ET!

Riogirl: unfortunately, this cycled was canceled due to one persistent 15mm follicle. RE will probably give HCG shot and the whole process with start again. But I am glad that I dont have to take BCP anymore. I am still hoping ER/ET wil be in November. Fingers, toes and eyes crossed:)

My next step is Labs for my baseline on Monday, AF should have started by Monday, and then start stims on Wednesday. Still on Lupron.

and jessica, congrats on the 5 eggs! i know if you were expecting more that you're probably disappointed, but maybe that energy went into making these ones GREAT quality! fingers crossed they all fertilize- when will you know?

Krisnjer~ Did you get a progesterone check by chance? I'm sorry your worried, but try not to. This is so intense, so we all understand how you are feeling..keep positive.

Rio and Karen~ Thank you so much for your kind words about the loss of our son. As you saw in the pictures he was a precious boy, and brought so much joy to our lives. We've been through a lot, but the future doesn't have to look grim. So we hold onto hope, it's all we have.

AFM~ Took my last BCP tonight! Woo Hoo!! So on with the next phase.

Just curious where is everyone from..no need to be specific...I am on the west coast...I think we are all spread out over creation. Thinking of all you lovely and crossing all my crossables that things go our way.

Every have one of those days where the thought of this whole process not working just takes on a life of it's own!!!???? Anyway.. it's one of those days. I am sure it's probably all these hormones I am jacked up on right now right?!!

Anyway-- 2nd Baseline on November 3rd and then we are set for transfer of our 3 frost babies on November 10th. I have literally re-arranged my whole life for this FET date and I am really stressing out that something is going to go wrong. Anybody out there had an FET cancelled due to anything!!?? Put my mind at ease?

Hey ladies quick question...

I have PCOS and have been on 1000mg of Metformin during this whole IVF process (and before) and Dr wants to keep me on it for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy if I am actually pregnant. I have found a couple of articles stating that Metformin decreases the miscarriage rate from about the 50% range to about the 10% range and that it is not found to cause any birth defects. I haven't really found a lot of research on it so I am just curious.

So my question for all the PCOS ladies is are you also on Metformin and if you are pg or have ever been pg were still using Metformin during the first 12 weeks?

HI all, my name is alisia and am I am a surrogate, currently going though IVF. I just lowered my lupron level after a successful baseline u/s and bloodwork. we are hoping for a retrievalaround the 15-18th and a 5 day transfer!!

@Kris, I am currently taking Metfomin for now I don't know for how long though, they gave it to me to lower my gluclose levels not for PCOS so it may be different but I will keep you posted on what my RE says

Jenmink55 & blairwh58 - My DH's BFF came over the other day and told me that I should try acupuncture because he heard it'll prove our chance. I thought off you all that are doing it. I never tried it and am thinking about it. What have you heard about it?

Mellow4 - my Dr told us to take the Lupron the same time every night. I don't think 2 hours past is that bad - at least your didn't skip it completely.

Rio - me too, they never put me on BCP just Lurpon …

Annashope- !!!!!!!! I can't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!! People say the stupidest things! When we announced we were pregnant she asked if we did it natural- after she knew everything we were going though! I was pissed for months! I can only imagine how you are feeling!

Riogirl71 - update to your calendar my ET has been moved up to Nov 22nd

Sdtrying & Annashope - Me too! I started taking them 5 days after transfer and continued about 2 times a day until I got a line and then went out and bought a digital one so that I can see it spelled out for me.

Jessica2723 - congrats on the ER- Think positive, you have 5! It only takes 1. Keeps us posted on how many fertilized.

Zen_scrapper - I start Lupron tonight!! It's our 2nd IVF! Good Luck!

AFM- I start LURPON tonight!! Don't ask me why but I am nervous as all hell! Anyone else starting soon? Oh and our ET date has also been moved up a week from Nov 29th to Nov 22nd - the week of Thanksgiving. My Dr wants me on bed rest for 36 hours after transfer, was anyone asked to do the same?
