meinemo-I am so sorry for your BFN..ive been there and its not easy and nothing I can say other than were here for you will help! It is so true ..all your PMA is great until that rug gets ripped out from under you and all comes crashing the only thing that helped was reading the positive stories here and having faith! You have to believe that you will get your BFP in time and this rollercoaster were on will then be SOOOO worth it!!

Tammy -I will only be a few days behind you! I think for my age the most I ever will get is 2 transfered..I will find out soon

AFM-IDK what my RE cut off is for 5dt...they dor 4dt anyone ever do that?? HAPPY HALLOWEEN to everyone I cant believe this is all happening again..I am trying to figure out what I should do about work. This is always my dilema..should I take off the week after ET or go back a few days later. I work long 12hr shifts on my feet and it can be physical so I worry but being home in crazytown could that be better lol? Big decisions..

Meinemo- So sorry for your BFN, I was there last month and I no its not a great feeling... Dont give up on hope... Within 2 weeks of getting my BFN ( which was my 1st cycle and it was a FET) the Dr started me on my next FET, All I had to take for meds was Estrace no lupron... I get U/S Tomorrow and hoping for ET Friday is all goes well... We all deserve a baby, and our turn will be here before you know it... Stay hopeful

Yesterday in my shop, a casual friend came in to do some business. She's been through three miscarriages herself but just conceived and delivered with no issues this year. She knows my history.. and asked about our progress. I told her I was almost 5 weeks pregnant and we were very hopeful. She seemed happy for me and then we went on to do business.

About an hour later, I had some running around to do. I was walking across a nearly deserted parking lot, reading a text from my DH, when suddenly out of the corner of my eye I saw backup lights and a white minivan backing up quickly, right towards me. I thought I was going to be hit... it startled me... and I twisted and jumped at the same time. The driver slammed on the brakes and it quickly stopped about 5 feet away.

It was the lady from the store... she acted like it was a joke... although I'm not sure she didn't see me and pretended that she was joking around.

My back was really out of whack the rest of the day, but felt better last night... for the most part. This morning I am getting sharp pains and I'm worried that either my back is hurt or I am miscarrying as a result of my jumping and freaking out. It could be just pregnancy (sore back is a huge sign for me) but still.... I'm pissed off at the entire thing!

Sonya-OMG...Wow I hope you are taking it easy. Drink lots of water and put your feet up! I cant believe that. I cant imagine someone would do that to a pregant woman as a joke...she must have not seen you and then acted like she did and was being funny (not that its funny)..Try to relax..rest up and not worry. I can see how annoyed you are! I will say a prayer for you and your little one:)

Afm, arrived in Manchester and checked into my hotel. I had to get them to change my room. The room looked like a cell with window looking out to a dreadful inner courtyard and other rooms. I had mild cramping and lower back pain today. I think I might have been trying to do too much this morning. My belly is well bloated, I look about 4 mths preggy. Going to get some food before x factor comes on.

AFM: I did my first shot of Follistim last night!.... However.... I almost screw it up! I placed the vial in the pen and the dialer was at the max, so I went from the max to my dosage and I injected myself. I remember thinking that I didn't feel anything, but then I was curious because it felt wrong. I compared the vial with the one that was unopened and they had the same amount of fluid inside. I DID IT WRONG!.... I had to get another tip and poke me one more time, but with the liquid!... I got really scared about messing everything up!...
We went to a party last night and I felt great!... today I feel exhausted!... Could it be because of the follistim? What kind of side effects have you had with the stims?

Hi everybody

I've been away since Friday at a friend's 40th. I spent about an hour on Thurs night writing q post to congratulate the three BFP ladies but then lost it!!!! Grrr! I usually copy the test just incase it doesn't work but must have buggered it up. It's taken me over an hour to catch up on the 20 pages I have missed so just a few personals from me today.

Klinger - yippee for two lines. Fantastic news!!

Tammy - fantastic fertility report. All the best for you ET.

Sonya - what a crazy lady! Do you think he laughing and joking was because she was freaked out at the fact she nearly ran you over or is she just an evil bi..arch!

Meinemo - I'm so sorry to hear your news. I had an FET this time around during a natural cycle - the embryos were transferred 5 dpo. The only meds I took was progesterone. My RE recommended that I wait a month before doing the FET. My first cycle ended in miscarriage at 8 weeks, and I got Af 3 days after miscarriage stopped. So it made sense to give my body a bit of a break.

Lou - I used to be a vet nurse in my past life and I'd probably seek the advice of a specialist. I think that will make you feel better about whatever decision to choose to make. Cruciates are funny things and the amount of treatment/surgery required can vary hugely depending on the damage done. So it's really important that you get a really accurate diagnosis.

To everybody else, sorry I don't have time for more personals.

AFM - I'm still not feeling very pregnant at all. I'm in limbo land at the moment as I've finished with my clinic. I've got to get my A into G and get booked into an OBS so that I can have another scan and reassure myself that everything is okay. Since the u/s where two sacs were seen but only one viable, I've been quite anxious, well, more anxious than usual. Not quite sure why, it's a bit irrational really. 9 weeks this week - only 3 weeks till I can tell everybody and hopefully start to feel a little bit more secure about this whole pregnancy thing. Talk about jumping from one hurdle to the next!

karian - Yes, some women have said the stims made them tired. I wasn't tired but my boobs were killing me LOL. I wasn't expecting sore boobs till I got on the progesterone so that kind of took me by surprise.
