So 5 of us have betas this week, right? CRAZY! Well, I know I'm going crazy. The time just seems to drag by but it's getting closer.

Nancy it is going to be a crazy crazy week for betas - I just know we'll be celebrating happily all week. Then we'll all be getting ultrasounds.... wow.... I am tense just thinking about it. bwhahahahahhaa

Yeah, I'm so happy I don't have to squint anymore to see them. It always makes me think I'm crazy to squint, tilt the test, etc. Ah well, I am a bit nuts anyways. And yes, 11dpo today. So that put my first BFP on the internet cheapies at 9dpo and I've never, ever had one that early. Hoping that's a good sign!!

Crystal...You are having a 5dt right? I am 2 days behind you and am having transfer tomorrow, too. They'll be calling within the hour with my transfer time and fert report. Where do you live? If yours is at 11 west coast and mine 2 east coast they would be virtually at the same time. lol

Tess...Wow! Almost 9 weeks already...it is going quick for me. lol Are you having m/s yet?

Lauren...Good Luck today! Cant wait to hear how everything went! I'm starting bullying classes sometime next week after bedrest...I'll let you know when they will be. lol

Sonya...I would be livid. How awful. Please get some rest...hope your back feels better soon.

Lou...anything new with your furbaby?

Meinemo...I didnt take stims, lupron, or bcp's for my FET. Estrace to build lining and of course the tetracycline, patches, and I think the medrol pills and progesterone after the transfer. I know that alot of docs are going this route now. I called on the day of AF...took the estrace and showed up for FET midway through my cycle. Hope yours is just as easy.

Lots of betas this week...praying for everyone!

My stomach has been hurting for 2 days now. I felt very little pain on Saturday after the retrieval...but Sunday morning, it felt like I had done a million sit-ups and then got drop-kicked in the tummy. Bill says it is because they had to really push things around in there and the nurse had to sit on me to get my ovary to move down into place. He said it is most likely muscle soreness...like you get the next day, after working out. Either way, it hurts to get up and do stuff.

I have (4) 4-cell embryos with 10-20% fragmentation...which she said is on the lower side/good side of what they want to see and is great! My 5th little guy didnt go any further.

My transfer is tomorrow at 1:45! We are putting back all 4 embryos!!!

It just goes to show how fast a bad cycle can turn around and work out. Woohoo!!!



ETA (edited to add): I just went back and looked at my notes to compare cycles:
August cycle: BFN
2 cell
4 cell
4 cell
3 cell (uneven cells and quite a bit of fragmenation in all)

September cycle: BFP/Miscarriage
(4) 4 cell (little to no fragmentation in all 4)

Oct/Nov cycle:
(4) 4 cell (10-20% fragmentation in all 4)

This was a different woman than I normally speak to...and she made my 10-20% frag this cycle sound like the little to no frag report I got last month. So I am very optimistic that this cycle will have similar results...only this time ending in a sticky baby!!!

Yeah, the cheapies don't work well for everyone but they've always been right on the money for me. And they seem to be a bit more sensitive than the FRER's. But once I see a + I always follow up with a FRER just because I trust them more. I transferred 3 3-day embies - a 9 cell 2B, an 8 cell 3C (25% fragmentation) and a 6 cell 2B. I'm glad your 4 embies are doing fantastic and I'm so excited that you'll be PUPO tomorrow!!!

Nancy: We will be doing a 5 day transfer of 2 blasts. Although, my RE has me a bit nervous... He told me that if I conceive I have a 50% twin "risk". The problem is that I have twins that I delivered at 34 wks due to preeclampsia. I now have chronic hypertension. My BP is controlled, but multiples increase the risk for me and baby(s). I think it's s risk I'm willing to take though. I just want a healthy baby.

Tammy: My transfer is officially 11:00 central time so that means your baby will be due an hour before mine. lol

Tess -- Thanks for your input. We decided to take her to the Vet Specialty clinic. http://www.vetspecialty.com. That's where she had her surgery on her other knee a few years ago. She's now 7 1/2 years old. She has an appt on Wednesday with the same surgeon who saw her last time. I'm comfortable with that.

Kynlee -- Thanks for your thoughts on my pooch.

Karenthescorpio -- How are stims going? I've been thinking of you.

Sonya -- How are you feeling since your parking lot mishap? I don't blame you at all for being pissed... I would be too! Praying you and baby are ok.

Crystal-- Good luck on ET. Two 5 day blasts sounds excellent.

Lauren -- 7 eggs is great! Hope you get an awesome fert report tomorrow.

AFM -- I'm using an OPK and it's day 13 when I should be real close to ovulating and nada. I'm wondering if maybe the progesterone lengthened my cycle... or maybe the DHEA? I dunno. Normally I have very regular 26 day cycles. As for the dog... she is going to see a specialist for her leg on Wednesday and probaby having surgery on Thursday. I don't know what type of surgery but I don't think I want the local vet to do it. She's going to see the same specialist who did her other knee three years ago. I feel good about her now but feel very anxious about how much all this is going to cost.

Amanda!!!!!! I am sooo thrilled for you!! And with it coming up so quickly, I too, wouldn't be surprised if you have multiples in there. The pictures look awesome. You are indeed a trued DIVA!!

AFM: Still no BFP ..on HPTs....but, I have been thinking: Because I am doing IUI, not IVF, I think I have been off a bit on my calculations. Today I am 11dp-trigger, but that only puts me 9dpo, since ovulation is (about) 36hrs after trigger and thus conception isn't quite as precise as with IVF. So, I will "try" to relax a bit...but will keep on testing and will keep you posted! Hopefully I will have two lines to show you all soon.

Lou - I think any of those supplements could possibly be causing late ovulation. OPKs can be super frustrating. Good luck friend!

Meinemo...Great Big Hugs. IVF is such a rollercoaster...who needs Cedar Point? My 2 cents (again, lol)...I personally would try 3 next time...we did 3 and got Zach when I was 39 yrs old...although, I dont know in your case...do you have infertility issues or not? Do you know when you'll be able to try again?

I don't have any known fertility issues, which is why I was playing it a little safe in the number of embryos transferred. Now that it's pretty clear that I'm not Fertile Myrtle (hard to know when you have a female partner), I'll be a little more aggressive, I think.
