Kris - Image again enjoy your BFP and there are numbers smaller than yours that went on to healthy babies so as long as it increases more than 60% over two days. When do you test again?

Shrunkin - glad you joined us and love your sense of humor, my DH shares the posts through me but it is awesome you actually joined us. What is your infertility diagnosis? I will try and get to your blog soon! What is your FET date? We got embibabies and sticky vibes (for embryo to stick but sounds kinda dirty huh?) too! ;) more IVF cutsy lingo!

karenscorpio - Holly chicken mother of eggs! Quit sowing off you follie machine ;) hihihi I am very excited for you and soooo jealous of your count (in a good way)! We will be PUPO together and I can't wait to rule crazytown with you!

blessed - 3 weeks and counting argh the waiting is so hard isn't it? Glad you have no headaches

mellow - sorry about the hamster :(

Karevancouver- SAME HERE! Funny, I also always had a follie that was 24 to 26 mm on day 7 and the rest were normal, now on DHEA I have no Godzilla follies! We are lucky but no harm in wanting more of a great thing! BFP thoughts for you!

Kris - CONGRATS on the BFP! We are a crazy bunch aren't we... even when we get good news and reassurance from the doctor, we obsess about it! 55 is fine. Both times, my betas have been super high (around 400) and I've lost all of my babies.... so numbers don't mean all that much. But we *all* understand how you have to obsess over SOMETHING!

Shrunkinapole.... hmmm... now I'm wondering if you are MY husband! :) I constantly talk about all the ladies on the message boards and my pen-pals to my husband. In some ways, I'm closer to everyone here than even my best friend in real life. We are a bunch of crazy IVFers (see my comment to Kris - we are ALL completely nutters!) I also totally get your analogy to being 6 cans of beer, but missing the plastic thing-y..... My life is going so well (I'm happily married, have a good friends network, a good job, a great education), but there is just something missing. My IVF craziness stems from that!
We love having men on here too - just don't get offended or repulsed by the TMI we give on our lady bits!

Speaking of TMI.... I'm really wondering WHERE THE F*CK IS MY PERIOD! I'm tempting her every way I can! New, white underwear, nice khakis, not carrying a single pad or tampon in my purse --- everything that usually conincides with a period starting!

I called my clinic today to ask when we start to 'intervene'. The nurse had the nerve to ask if we'd been having unprotected sex (of course we are - why the heck would we use birth control?). I'm supposed to wait a week and take a HPT. If it's negative, I can come in and talk to the doctor about taking something to start my period. WTF? Nurse lady, please. You work at an IVF clinic. No need to ask me if I'm pregnant and it's unplanned. GEEZ. Doesn't it say "NEAR AZOOSPERMIA" on the front of our file? Goodness. I spoke to a different nurse and she said to forget that and come in on Sunday in any case to see what's going on.

Hopefully my period will come.... NOW! (okay, off to the bathroom to check if that PMA helped!)

Krisnjer: CONGRATULATIONS!!! Be happy!! Celebrate!! As Anna said it is in the rise..and doubling. Think positively!!! Thanks for the positive messages for me--I am now where you were yesterday: feeling miserable. Your news helped lift my spirits!! :D :D

Mellow: SO glad you got the green light to go ahead! That stinks about your clinic making you wait a day for results. That happened "accidentally" to me at the last clinic. Every time. But they also didn't want to give me my actual number since "I wasn't qualified to interpret it. " Bite me. Ooops. Sorry. I'm feeling a little fighsty today...this 2ww is making me nuts. Still no positive on the HPT:( And. So sorry about little hampster. Pets are pets. They mean so much to us. Especially to a child. My heart goes out to her...poor dear. :(

Karenthescorpio: Wowee...you have enough follies for 3 of us! Great "growing" grow now grow! :D

Leorira: What on earth?! I have danced and danced for you. WHERE is the evil witch when you need her?!

Baby dust to all you ladies!!!! (And Shrunkinapole)**Hope you all don't mind that I keep crashing your thread***

Margi---you are always welcome and hearing from you always brings a smile to my face. I am so sorry you are in crazy town please hang in there. I didn't get my faint bfp with IVF until 11dpo so as others have said it may still be early.

Leorira------ I am so sorry about how long this has taken. We are all doing the dance for you but I am glad you are going to see the RE Sunday if it still doesn't show up. I too am always amused when nurses ask me if dh and I are having unprotected sex...lol why not? I mean isn't that the point

AFM I am just curious if anyone else has felt sluggish and tired after the trigger shot. (I did mine last night) I have been most unproductive today

Hi Ladies! Wow - I don't have time to get on here very often and I miss A LOT! Although I don't post personals to everyone I enjoy reading and laughing at your posts. You ladies are the best!! :D

I have my ER on Friday. Of course right now I am dealing with the frustration that my doctors office hasn't called me back to give me the lowdown on what time to take my trigger shot, etc and I am getting kinda mad. Do i even continue my stimm shot tonight? Geesh... Anyway - Riogirl you can update me.

CONGRATS!! to the BFP and do not stress over numbers... just enjoy it!!

Leoria... As far as I can tell :o I am not your hubby but I totally feel you with the whole "life is perfect except this" part. Its really nutty how one missing piece can ruin the whole puzzle.

Riogirl... We are looking at this coming Monday or Tuesday for transfer. I guess once we have the right numbers and what not we will get the exact day.
I wrote a blog about my story and this darn infertility. Check it out... http://www.shrunkinapole.com

Krisnjer~ Your beta isn't a bad one!! :) Be positive. I had a beta that was 18.5 9dp4dt...that is when you worry. No matter what though, in this journey you never feel totally good about the first beta until you see the second one rising properly. Hang in there. You are pregnant lady, that is great news!

I have a killer headache, forgot to take my lupron this morning and need to go vote...how's that for a fun filled afternoon. I am a mess!

@Krisnjer~ THAT'S SUCH GREAT NEWS!!! Congrats girl! :D So happy for you and your DH! I'm sure everything is going to be fine on Thursday.

I spoke with my nurse to day and it looks like I'll be going in on 11/16 for a mock transfer, u/s, and injectable class. I will stop my BCP on 11/18 and start my injectables on 11/27. Who ever thought I'd be counting down the days till I could start sticking myself with needles  !

Quick thanks to all you wonderful ladies for all that thoughtful words and great advice, prayers and baby dust being sent out to all!

stuckinapole - I read some of your blog - NOT my husband! :)

One of my favorite WTF moments of our "journey" - we had to get tested for HIV. Yes, yes, I know - that's stupid - but our insurance required a negative HIV test result to approve our IVF. So we went in (together) to the approved clinic to get tested. They handed out a questionaire - full of questions like "How often do you have sex without a condom?", "When was the last time you had sex without a condom?" and "Do you use intravaneous illegal drugs?". We kinda looked at each other and laughed - not really applicable! If you are trying to concieve for more than a year and are still using condoms, you'd have bigger problems than infertility! To the question "When did you last have sex without a condom?" I answered "about an hour ago"! I think the counselor we met was MIGHTILY confused until we explained we needed to be tested for insurance approval before IVF.

Ugh... spotting on and off.... come on already!

Krisnjer- Congrats! Woo whoo! BFP!!!! I have to tell you that with my last pregnancy (twins) my first beta at 8dp6dt was 71. Now, at the time I had no idea I had twins. Until my 23wk when my cervix failed them and I went into PTL, they were perfect and healthy! As long as it doubles atleast within 48 hours, you should be fine. Enjoy this moment! You are pregnant! I'm soooo happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!
