My niece is pregnant and she recently asked me to be Godmother, Im so honored but a piece of me just wishes I could be pregnant with her... Sonya - That looks right to me, but remember they're happy if it doubles within 48-72 hours so it could double slower than that and still be fine. Your first beta doubled in 35.64 hours so I'd even wager your latest beta will come out higher than what you've estimated here. What time will you have your results back??

I have a couple minutes to post about my day of ups and downs (LITERALLY)...

1) DH wanted me to POAS to check and see if levels are still up. So I did and the "preggers" line was way darker than the other line.

2) THEN, we were walking back from his parents house (just two doors down) and on the way into our garage, I caught my foot somehow and fell damn near flat on my face. I landed hard on my knees and caught myself with my hands, thank the Lord, but it scared the crap outta me and, more so, outta my poor DH. I feel fine, just some little, painless twinges here and there. But I figure that could very well just be the pregnancy, right? My lower back's been bothering me for a couple days anyway...

3) THEN, RE's office called. They wanted to know if I would be interested in helping them test out the brand new u/s equipment they just got in! FOR FREE!!! So I'm going in Thursday morning and hopefully we see something good!

My MIL thinks I should've mentioned falling to the nurse, but I don't think it's anything to worry about. What are your thoughts, ladies?

thank you so much for the birthday love! it was a fabulous day, thanks to my dh & family! i don't have time for personals, which i promise i'll do soon.

amanda- again, you jinxed me...in a GOOD way!!! i'm assuming my b/w came back fine b/c they only call back if there's a problem. so since they didn't, i started my follistim 175 & lowered my lupron to 5 units. i had 11 follies on my left & 5 on my right at the u/s today...woohoo!!! i go for b/w on friday & then an sns on sunday. i forgot to take my lupron 10 units last night....don't ask how!? but i remembered this morning driving to the re's office, so they had me go back home & take 5 units this morning. ooops...i was scared they were going to cancel or push me back. but you keep jinxing me & it's helping.

AFM: Crashing a bit today with low PMA... Work stinks right now and I can't even concentrate. No double line this morning with FMU--and I held it for 6 hrs Sonya!--sigh. This may not be my cycle. I know there is still hope given I am only 10 dpo...but for some reason I am just being kicked by Crazytown today. I just want to cry. Sorry to be negative right now, I just needed to try to get some of it off my chest. This is so hard. Some days are easier than others.

Awww Margie... I'm sorry you are having a tough day. Trust me, all women are really different when it comes to hpts! At 10dpo you are still really super early. You're right, it might not be your cycle, but you are not in any place to know that yet. I've seen way too many women not get hpts until beta day. All has to do with how fast your body metabolizes the hormone. For instance, my doctor gave me 2.5 times the pain meds for my ER because he said I metabolized the meds much quicker than most. And you know... being emotional is a good sign.

Testing early means having to face the possibility of a yes or a no earlier than the beta date. It doesn't change what is. It can't make the outcome different. For myself, I know that if those lines don't appear, I can prepare myself mentally for an unsuccessful cycle. I need to let myself down gently. Not with one phone call. Not in ten seconds. I need to be in control of that knowledge, and in my world, somehow in control of how I handle it. Testing early is not for everyone... and if it's too difficult it might not be worth it. More than anything you need to do what's right for your emotional state and take care of yourself!! Just take it a day at a time, and know that you are NOT out of the game until beta day. BIG HUGS

Geesh, what is it with us bfp'ers getting bumped and twisted??? I hope you are okay... and yes, please tell the nurse, although as long as you are not bleeding or cramping things are most likely okay. I am *SO* jealous you get to have an early ultrasound! I totally admit it. JEALOUS. And I wish the very, very best for you on Thursday!! Good to know your pee test was darker... I took another IC today and actually got a super dark line. Don't think I've ever gotten a line like that....

I have bad news....I really dont know why this happens to me!

Out of the 7 eggs..6 were mature and they ICSI them all and ONLY 1 Fertilized...1 did abnormally and the rest didnt! The other immature one matured overnight so they will hopefully ICSI today.

I am really upset! I know it only takes one...but How does that happen? Only me

Lauren... I am so sorry this is happening... nobody knows why these things go the way they do... I've heard of way too many success stories to believe there's no hope. Most pregnancies only get one embryo fertilized...so have hope!!! Your little embie needs all the positive energy you have. (((((hugs)))))

Lauren- I know you are worried sick to have one embie. We are all hear for you. We understand the worry. As the saying goes, it really does just take one! A friend of mine going thru IVF (but not on this forum) had like 20 eggs at retrieval...14 embies...and by day five after transferring the best looking two she didn't have any left to freeze b/c they all arrested. And now she is preggers with one baby! So pllllease try to keep telling yourself "it just takes one, it just takes one, it just takes one"....b/c it's true!! ((((HUG))))

AFM- follies are growing well, thank goodness. Heading back to RE tomorrow for another check-up. They should start to grow bigger now. I'm guessing my ER might be Monday. By Friday I should know. I can't wait to be pregnant again! On an unexpected note, my DH was in a bad accident this morning on the way to work. THANK GOODNESS he is ok. No injuries or anything. But it reminded me of how things can change "in a new york minute" (no pun intended). The last time I had this feeling was the day I went into PTL and lost my twins. Ugh. Just reminds me of how little control we have over things in life and we really just have to enjoy each day and moment. So go give your DH's a big hug!

Karen - how awful about the accident, but thank God everything was ok and that there were no injuries. It really is scary to think how much things can change in just an instant. Glad that everything is ok, and that you are able to relax and continue to grow those follies! AFM-I talked to the IVF nurse and she said the lab only gives her numbers...not grading and didnt elaborate on what happened to the other eggs. I told her I want to know what happened..what went wrong? I told her I know this happens but was it the egg? the sperm? what?? give me some feedback..I want to know what my embies are doing now...if they are struggling or look good! She said I can put a call into the embryologist if I want but tomorrow maybe a better day to grade the embryos and I can ask in person! So Im making my list!!! LOL I got my instructions...Also going for a massage tonight I am praying for the best here...the nurse tried to make me feel better by saying there is alot of unknowns..she has seem picture perfect embryos not end in pregnancy and ones struggling do just fine so I am resting up! Why is it the day of transfer and day after my RE doesnt allow you to do anything other than eat and pee...i wonder especially since some are 3dt even 4dt and 5d..
