Tammy – I am sorry that you are feeling so down right now. You are so right, knowing too much info sometimes can be a scary thing sometimes. But, remember this, the more we know and learn in life, the more we are proved wrong sometimes. So in this case, that would be a very good thing right? You and your DH want this so badly that it just has to happen for you soon and this might very well be it! You just sit tight and try to think positive thoughts until your beta or HPT and you will be just fine. You have so many people who are supporting you and rooting for another BFP! I am praying for you my old cycle buddy!

Rio: Great news on your follies... The nurse did not tell me much about my follies on my first SnS, but tomorrow I'll ask many questions.

AFM: I've been doing 225 of follistim for the last 5 days. I've had some minor headaches and today I started feeling some cramping on my left side. I'm wondering if that is normal?... I also felt some pain on my lower back. I'm very exited for tomorrow's SnS. I want to see my follies growing and I cant wait to be PUPO!. I think my ER should be on monday or sometime early next week. Thank you ladies for all your help and support!

AFM- follies are growing well, thank goodness. Heading back to RE tomorrow for another check-up. They should start to grow bigger now. I'm guessing my ER might be Monday. By Friday I should know. I can't wait to be pregnant again! On an unexpected note, my DH was in a bad accident this morning on the way to work. THANK GOODNESS he is ok. No injuries or anything. But it reminded me of how things can change "in a new york minute" (no pun intended). The last time I had this feeling was the day I went into PTL and lost my twins. Ugh. Just reminds me of how little control we have over things in life and we really just have to enjoy each day and moment. So go give your DH's a big hug!

I am sorry your DH was in a situation - that's scary and yes.. makes you realize how fast things change... There is a woman blogger who was very pregnant with ivf twins... who was hit broadside by an ambulance... one of the twins was crushed... and the other ... well.. I haven't had the heart to go check. She is also in bad shape.

On a positive note.... I am really happy to hear about your follies and am cheering for a great ER. Do you have a follie count yet?

Hi girls...
I'm sorry for being quiet...I'm just feeling pretty down right now myself. My embryos looked like a train wreck yesterday...my heart sank when she handed me the pictures of my 4 embryos. Sometimes I wish I didnt know as much as I do. 1 was a 8 cell fragmented, 1 was a 7 cell fragmented, 1 was 4-6 cells...sooo fragmented that they couldnt tell how many cells, and 1 was a 3 cell...yep it was a 4 cell the day before. It lost a cell and was falling apart. So the 8 cell is the only hope I have and based on the fact that the others are doing so poorly...I dont have much hope this cycle at all. Plus the 8 cell looked pretty bad, too. I know, I know...that the worse embryos have made the most beautiful babies...but honestly these looked really bad. Heck, I havent even looked at the pic of the embryos since before ET and dont even know where Bill put it....which is completely unlike me. Oh well. I've been in bed with my feet up wallowing in my pity party. Today is Bill's birthday...and I just sent him to go pick up his own bday cake. I suck. We havent even opened his gifts yet and he has been home all day caring for Zach. I'm just a real fun girl today. I hope I dont end up bringing anyone down.

God do I feel better now...just getting that all off of my chest...

Ignorance is bliss. There is so much truth to that. However..... you know and I know how many 'bad eggs' turn out to be 'beautiful babies'. It takes one. Only one. You will get through this and hopefully you will get through it with a beautiful BFP. Perhaps you can make it up to Bill by a special evening with just the two of you... I'm sure he's worried about the embryos as well. At least you'll have cake... that always helps. (((hugs)))

I've had a pretty good feeling/attitude this whole time; however, this morning I'm having cramping that feels totally like period cramps so my PMA is taking a nose dive. I've had cramping during this cycle but not this kind of cramping so now I'm getting worried. Beta is tomorrow.

sorry I'm making all you ladies tired dancing for AF - but she's STILL NOT HERE!

I think that part of my frustration is that I was told I'd get a period as soon as my beta hCG dropped to zero.... So I was looking forward to that. It took six loooooooong weeks for my beta to get to zero (most people, it takes 2-4 weeks). Then, just as my beta got to zero, I learned that when you get to zero, you OVULATE. Period doesn't come for about 2 weeks later. UGHHH. Ovulating doesn't help when your husband has no sperm! grrrrr.....

So apparently, I'm still within 'normal' range for these things. This week I get to 8 weeks post D&C. I'm seeing the RE on Sunday to discuss "options" for speeding things up. 8 weeks is the longest they let you go without a period after a D&C before they 'intervene'.

And yet, the longer my period stays away, the more obsessed I get that maybe this will be our one-in-a-million chance that we get pregnant on our own. It's super not likely - but there has got to be *one* in that million! Maybe we could be that one!

and for the record - I'm a huge POAS-a-holic. EVERYONE SHOULD GO POAS RIGHT NOW!

Good Morning everyone!!

I am so sorry I have not had time on the boards. I went out of town Saturday at 3:30 am, and came home yesterday at 3:30am and then went to work (boy was I tired yesterday!!) Had a great time in San Antonio chaperoning 267 kids for 3 days. Its band kids, so they are extremely polite and responsible. Enjoyed seeing the freaks on Halloween walking the Riverwalk lol. They did great in their competitions. on Saturday they ranked 4th out of 55 bands. And for the State competition they came in 7th in the whole state of Texas. I am really proud of them!!

I haven't had time to read everyone's posts. I'll skim through them if I get time today at work. I have a 3pm Drs Appointment for my Saline U/S . Little apprehensive, hoping I dont have to go for a full hysteroscopy. I am still taking my BCP and go for my teaching class on 11/11 (which I just realized is a day off !! yes! dont have to use vacation time).
