thanks, Amanda. Yep, we'll try w/ the 1 frostie unless the RE recommends otherwise. We'll have to save up some $$ to do the FET and then that will be it for us. As you know, we are 100% self pay and we could only afford one fresh IVE cycle. Thankfully an FET cycle is considerably less. I just wish I had more than 1 frostie.

moorebaby - how is the stimming going?

Cheri - I am sorry you had so many ectopics, you poor baby and I see you have MI like me too. Hopefully this will be a lucky cycle. My RE used Femara this time and I was on DHEA and so far it is better than my first IVF 3 years ago! I am keeping my fingers crossed! How did your numbers look?

Lauren - I like your vote of 10 mature eggs! It is ridiculous we know more about stuff and the embryologist couldn't keep the facts straight, we are always our best advocates! Don't be worried, your insides are swollen and your ovaries aren't meant to enlarg so a little gas or anything can make you hurt. I remember after my ER I woke up in awful pain, ends up I had a big O in my sleep and the contractions were killing me of pain. Weird huh? Don't read into it, you will feel better and pregnant soon, then you can move on to morning sickness, insomnia, bloated all that fun stuff

karen scorpio - you transfering 2 blasts? what size is he wanting before trigger? PMA for good embies! How come you have to do PGD?

klinger - make sme feel good to cheer for all of you, I really believe in PMA and prayers so we need all the help we can get here right? The BFPs make me smile and I am happy if I can offer comfort and support to the BFNs this journey is so hard I am glad we are all here to help each other! Cna't wait for your US! Plus what the heck!!!! you are not old enough to have a grandchild, dang I am 39.

I got a TMI question. My trigger was at 1 am. At about 10 pm I went to pee and I saw this discharge that was like egg white. Well for me that was a real sign of ovulation, I googled it and it said that if you have that discharge that it is the best day to have sex cause you are ovulating bla bla, so now I am freaking out, could I have ovulated on my own even though I was on ganirelix? Or do the hormones just mees you up and I am still on track? Sorry for TMI, the discharge was there today too. This cycle is going so great so far, better than my last two and I just am so scared that something weird will happen and I will have no mature eggs or no embies. New RE and tweaked protocol so now I am truly scared... I need to keep my pMA... today I celebrated my needle free day with acupuncture!!!
Need your prayers and baby dust for lots of great and mature eggs tomorrow!!!!!

riogirl--I also had the same discharge (which I have also been told is a sign of when ovulation may occur) during my IVF cycle after my trigger and thought it as strange. Whether it is normal or not I have no idea but I did get a BFP! Hope this helps with your PMA! Not sure what protocol you were on but I did BCP, Lupron, Follistem & Menopure.

Amesy- congrats on your bfp! Alright! I'm loving the growing pregnant llist!

Rio- my RE likes to have a minimum of 18mm in size. I have 5 that are this size but I have so many they want to grow more. My last cycle I triggered with a couple at 20-21. We do PGD bc of my age. I will be 40 next Friday. My last cycle I was in a study my clinic did for PGD (24 chromosome aneuploidy screening).the results were telling and amazing. I had 24 eggs retrieved. 17 fertilized with ICSI. By day 5 we had 9 good ones. Of those 9 only 3 were ok genetically. Typical for my age. I got twins the last time and we transferred two blasts on day 6. The study showed a 92% overall pregnancy rate with day 5 biopsed, fresh transfer on day 6. The twin preg rate was 70% for two embies transferred. Pretty damn impressive. So that's why we are doing it again. My clinic is awesome. I love my RE. He is one of the partners. Dr Paul Bergh. He rocks!

Ryan-I had a girlfriend who has PCOS and used the clomind and did IUI and she has 2 beatiful boys Get as many opinions as you need and make the best decision for you and your DH the one that your most comfotable with. Best of luck..it will happen for you

hmmm...that's a good question. i would assume that it's the carrier that needs to cover the 4 cycles, not that a person gets 4 cycles total in their lifetime. i hope that it works in your favor! just wanted to say that your beta is scheduled on my mom's b-day...it'll be a good day!

AFM – Nothing to report. Got my meds in on Wednesday. They are all inventoried and tucked away til I start Lupron on the 18th. Go back to St. Louis for my TET and Sonohyst on Monday. Gonna ask where is my calendar when I’m there. I have been obsessed checking the mail since last Friday when the secretary said she would get it out to me. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
