Wise women wanted for views on bleeding during stims.

Post by Bronagh »

To all the wise women out there, I've been injecting for a week now into stims, had a scan this morning and they said everything was fine. But late this afternoon I've started bleeding, old blood anyone have similar expereince. Clinics closed until Sunday.

Hi Bro

I bled on my first treatment during stimms in the second week. They said it was because my oestragen levels were not OK so I had to take Oestradile (spelling?) tablets for a bit. I did get OHSS after that and then my oestragen levels were sky high!! You just can't win  It did stop the bleeding though.

Not sure if that helps but hey ho. Hope the bleeding has eased off now.

I'm having the same problem. I've been on stims for 6 days and I have the faintest amount of bleeding (I know this is gross--but it's brown in color) . My IVF coordinator tells me its normal, but I'm also afraid that this is going to fail before we even get started. Let me know what you find out.

Hi datkns,
It lasted for 4 days but they said it was nothing to worry about, it started just after my 1st scan have my second scan tomorrow so I suppose I'll see what happening.
