Hi Saron,

Thank you so much for that info about the cramps & aching. I was beginning to think that I would have to phone the doctors as I thought there was something wrong ( paranoid I guess cos its my 1st attempt at IVF ).

Good Luck to Nickie & Shaon joiningthe 2ww, Will be thinking of you all.

Feeling better now & a bit more confident

Cheers :D :D :D

Welcome back Nickie. Glad to see you had so many fertilised eggs. Good luck tomorrow for Nickie and sharon and make sure you take it easy after take it easy after.

Bron I'm glad I am not the only one with the cramps. Today they were really bad. I was doubled over with pain but I think this is more to do with my endometriosis. If they continue as bad tomorrow I am going to call the hospital and see what they think I should do for the pain.

Does any one know why you shouldn't have baths? I usually take a bath when I get the pains but I am afraid to because I heard that you shouldn't after ET. Any thoughts?

2 days down and 11 to go.
BFP coming our way.

HI All

Shellie--just to let u know that I have been in severe pain since ET on wednesday also. I also had nausea, bloatedness & generally not feeling good at all. I phoned the hospital & am going there now. I think its the pessaries I've been using. Will let u know how I get on. I would give your clinic a ring if u don't feel too good. Not worth hanging about.

Everyone else hope your treatments are going well.

PMA to all of us.

Keep your fingers crossed for me! :? :? :?

Hello Girlies
Well after my BFN I have been really busy at work keeping my mind off of my latest result  I went out and bought 4 new tops and a new phone , Feel better now  We are going to one of my Girls leaving do tomorrow and on sunday taking my Niece and Nephew to a theme park for the day so its all go go go then next week Cam is in for an op on Mon for a hernia and on thursday my parents arrive from the Isle of Wight and then Fri I pick my cousin up from the airport and she is staying for 2 weeks AND I have to try and sell my house while all this is going on , I dont have time to be sad which is good !!!!

Today is a busy day for all of you too

BRO
Hope you get good news today at your scan and you get a date for EC at last!!! and great idea Keep away from those sticks it dosent do you any good look at me !!! I have to say I have gotten worse as the more cycles I have gone through

SX
Thinking of you today with your ET and assisted hatching , better chance if you can have that also isnt acupuncture great , I had that and it made me alot calmer

NIKKIE88

JENF
It is never Bloody simple is it , lets hope your scan show you good news today you deserve it .

JULYANNE
What a great start feeling possitive AND a great sample keep those legs in the air!!

CHRISTINA
As this is your first go it may feel like it will drag , perhaps you should start a hobby , I make cards but unfortunatly I am very addicted and the credit card has had a real bashing while I have been on treatment , how is your sore tummy? its hard to ignor abdominal pains perhaps you should phone the clinic and ask them for advice .

SHELLI
Congratulations on your two good graded Embies making their way to their new home for the next 9 months, I think the cramping is normal as when you have EC the empty follicles then fill up with fluid and has something to do with the pesseries (Progesterone) thats why we sometimes get cysts too while downregging, also they have been pulled about so I guess when the fluid goes in the surrounding tissue is weaker , it will wear off just drink lots of water and Peppermint tea helps .

Sorry if I have missed anyone
Big hugs to you all for my messages I will print them off and treasure them .

Hello Everyone,

Well I've been to the hospital & they assure me everything is ok. They said it may be slight OHSS or maybe the pessaries, but that it should ease off in a few days. Been told to drink plenty water & get plenty rest. I am so relieved because I was really starting to panic, maybe because its my 1st attempt. So now I am going to take things extremely easy & Dh has been wonderful.

Hope everyone else is doing great!

Loadsa Hugs :) :)

Post by Bronagh »

Hi girls,
Reporting in from earlier today. 9 follys all correct and accounted for will get egg collection on Monday .

So thats my next step sorted just have to get through the weekend, but the sun is out and the sky is blue.

Must tell you funny thing happened to me today, hAD A CALL YESTERDAY For AN ORGANISATION THAT i USED TO COME INTO CONTACT WITH while at my last job. They basicially offered me a job wanted to know if I was interested. It s a year contract -bet they mught not have if they knew I was going through this but hay / anyway it was quite a suprise so I took all the details and said I'd get back to them. DH says its beneath me-true I could do it with my eyes closed but its nice to be asked.

Enjoy the sun this weekend, and those 2wwaiters hope the pains stop soon.

Oh the thing about no baths ,saunas etc it also says in my Zita West book no sunbathng.........bit of a bummer with weather like this eh?

Anyway have a PMA weekend.

Hi girls

Thanks for your messages of support - TRACI - I am sooo sorry to hear about your BFN - I didn't realise untl your message as I haven't had time to atch up on all the posts - sounds as though you are having fun spending out on the finer things in life and that you are really busy from now on which is good - alot to contend with moving house as well! God you are a saint!

Well as for me - I am now officially on the 2ww - I have 2 embies sitting inside me - one which was 7 cell and one which is 6 cell - the Consultant said these were good so fingers crossed - I also got three 5 cell to freeze and I am more than happy with my lot :D

So test date will be Thursday 3rd June - yikes!!!

Am going to spend the weekend with my feet up - lovely.

Big hugs to you all
Love
Nickie

Traci, you are amazing. You won't have time to think over the next two weeks. I have been planning a few things just in case we don't get a good result. For me I think it is importnat to have something to focus on. My sister is going to America in July. If things don't go well I am going to meet her there and go to disneyland. My sister lives in Australia so it would be great to catch up and take my mind off things. Although I do hope I won't be able to go because I will be carrying precious cargo.

Christina, glad the news at the hospital wasn't too bad. I have been having bed rest today and I haven't had as many pains. Take it easy and sit back with DH tonight and watch some DVD's.

Well done Nickie, its great you have some for freezing too. Welcome to the 2ww and bring on 3rd June!

You are moving along now Bron, 9 follies is great. Hopefully on Monday you will have some good quality eggs. Rest up this weekend ready for EC.

Good luck to all on 2ww.

Hi Traci,

I am not that addicted to it yet. Only started this year, making cards for friends & family. Sounds like you have a good thing going there..lol
Now I've got a 2ww I may start to do some extra ones. Do you use the greeting card factory software?

Hi Girls,

Well, I have 2 good embryos safely tucked away. I feel surprisingly good actually.

Chritina - Glad that you have been reasurred by the hospital. You should feel better in the next day or so. Drink 2 litres of water a day and rest. But remember that you will have lots of odd twinges over the next couple of weeks and you just can read too much into them as everyone is different and everyone will feel different.

Nickie - So pleased you have some frosties - that it such an added bonus. Are you going to test on Thursday? Unfortunately I've always had AF before test date so I will just be doing manic Knicker checking from the Wednesday!

Bron - 9 follies are excellent - great that you have finally got to this stage - good luck for Monday. What a bummer about sunbathing - I did say to my nurses that all I was going to do was spend my time in the hammock and they didn't say I shouldn't - I guess as long as I don't over heat too much.

Shellie - hope you are feeling more comfortable. I don't know much about Endo - it sounds very unpleasant, poor thing.

Well girls, lets all chill out, have lots of PMA, do lots of nice things to treat ourselves and hopefully the 2ww will fly by (or at least we will enjoy it more).

Love
