Jen- My MD recommends rest day of transfer and 3 days after. 2+ down so by tomorrow night DH may actually let me leave the bedroom and move to the couch downstairs. This bedrest seems to drag on. I thought working from home would help but not so much. I am also working on my Masters degree and have a lot of school work to do but sitting with a laptop made me have hot flashes so I gave up after a few hours. I will definitely be purchasing some tests sometime this weekend, so sunday may very well be the first testing day. I just get so nervous that it will end up negative that I try to put it off as long as possible.

Eggandprayer- keep your head up. I can only imagine how frustrated you are but just keep telling yourself that the right surrogate will come along soon and you'll have your little one in no time.

well i'll do my best to get some personals here, but i'm really struggling today. my cat was suffering and i had him put down. it was awful :( i've cried so much in the last couple days my whole face hurts. he was really special, wonderful boy..

so i may not get my beta results tomorrow b/c of the stat holiday here... bah. it will have been almost exactly 48 hours after the first, so will be a good indication of whats happening. thanks for the reassuring words blair and mellow :)

easley and eggprayer.. best of luck to you for december. SD.. great idea on the cleaning lady! now that's my idea of self-care and peace of mind. love it. good luck with friday FET..keep us posted. mellow- you must be getting close if those ovaries are sore? when do you expect ER?.... jenmink- you sound like you're in heaven <3.. what a great experience and how wonderful to be full of hope :)

my best to all. k.

Karenvan~ Stinkin holidays messing with your beta results...that sucks. How are you feeling? Go pee on a stick and see if it's darker, maybe that will make you feel better about having to wait?? haha. :D

I think my ER will be Monday. Tonight was my 8th day of stims. I am responding better this time than I did this summer. I realized it's likely that they switched me back to Gonal-F from the follistim I was on before. It always works for me. Anyway, I feel sore, and am starting to get the bloat. Love the bloat... :) They looked like they were all right around the same size, so I am hoping that means tomorrow I have 12-14 all around 15mm. They feel a little further along than that though. I am little so I feel every little thing, and everything shows quickly too. People notice the bloat, it's hard to hide..make that impossible. Oh the fun!

SDtrying- Try to keep your head up!! I know exactly what you mean with the onslaught of med I didnt know how I should even be feeling. Adn whats worse is here lately the PIO has started causing huge painful knots. My hips look like pin cushions and are to sore to even touch. Oh the joy of these shots. And whats even better is I get to add a third daily shot on Saturday when I start the Lovenox. Luckily its subQ and goes into my stomach instead of my hips. Not much longer and you will be PUPO with us so stay positive!! Best of luck.

mellow- Only a little bit longer and you will be joining the PUPO group as well!! Im sure you are very glad that the stimming will be coming to an end.

karenvan- Im so sorry to hear about your beloved cat. It sounds like he is in a better place now, but I know it is very hard when you love them so much. Best of luck and we are here if you need anything.

Blair and Jenmink~ PUPO!!! I know what you guys are going through with the POAS obsession. I woke up that Saturday and said I was going to wait. We all went to breakfast and afterwards I went running for the bathroom because i couldn't stand it. I guess i just figured if it was - I would deal with it better at home or I just kept saying that we would try again with our 2 frosties so all wasn't lost. So POAS if that makes you feel better ot don't if that does too. I'm sending you both baby dust for BFP!!!! Hang in on your bedrest and 2WW. We are here for ya!!

Easley - feel free to stay if you want but good luck in Dec. Remember good things come to those who wait and boy to we ever wait a long time

mellow - sorry my RE never give out numbers on anything. I have to ask for my beta numbers.

SDTrying- that awesome about getting a cleaning lady. Hey whatever helps with the stress is worth it!!! Keep your head up! Remember you are PUPO and stay positive as much as you can. When is your first beta?

Eggandaprayer - big hugs!! I wish you all the luck in Jan. and know you will have your hearts desire soon!!

KarenV - so very sorry to hear about your cat. You did the right thing though. You don't want him to suffer any more than he had. BIG HUGS!!! Just remember he will always be in your heart and you are lucky he was in your life. Animals are so special and even though we have them for a short time its better than not having them at all. I know your betas will be good. just keep the faith :) I like Mellow's idea too, it might just make you feel better to see a darker line.

Mellow - go follies grow. Sounds like you will be ER before you know it. Thanks great!! After my ER I looked like I was 4 months pregnant that was fun trying to hide, but it did go away in a few days, hang in there.

AFM - just waiting for my U/S and beta #2 next week. Always waiting...makes it hard to focus but I think I'm finally over the searching the internet non-stop for betas and now am just content to wait. I have to tell you the internet is like POAS addiction, I just can't help myself. I search for all the beta numbers, look for pictures of HPTs, etc.. all sorts of things its crazy!!

Must get some work done today!!
Hugs!!

Hi girls I am back and wow a lot has happened.

Blair how are you holding up? any unusual symptoms yet?

Sd---I know what you mean by this cycle being surreal I am exactly in the same place. I mean up until this point everything went as planned and I am still like a space cadet...I just can't get with it....lol

Mellow and Margi I am so glad you are both getting ready to enter the 2ww and I am here to cheer you girls on. You both sooooo deserve this to be it and I will as always be praying for you both

karenvancouverisland---65 is a good beta and there is no reason to be concerned. Last time mine was 28 and that is when they worry. You are pregnant so YAY!!!!! thank you for keeping our lucky streak going

Jenmink our ET's were almost identical and I am so hopeful that in another week we both get our bfp's. My embryologist also did assisted hatching and the embabies looked good so I am soooo hoping this works and what you said gives me hope.

Easley and Eggandaprayer good luck in December we will be cheering you on and crashing that thread I am sure :)

AFM well here is where crazytown starts getting to me. I am now 11 days removed from trigger (I had an unmedicated FET so needed the trigger for my ov to be exact) and so here I am. We transferred 2 perfect blasts with assisted hatching grades 4aa and 4ab and I have been testing out my trigger. As of yesterday I had no line on the hpt but this am I am starting to wonder if I am seeing something. I mean there is definitely a faint line and trigger should be gone so I guess we are back to hurry up and wait. On top of that I feel like total crap. I am very rarely sick and out of nowhere yesterday I started feeling like i have the flu--aches, no energy, dizzy. I don't know but here I am slowly going crazy....lol anyone else here with me?? :D :D :D SD? Blair? hahaha my insanity needs company

Sorry for being gone so long... 2400+ miles of driving in 2 days of travel is a bit too much

It is go great to hear that there are successes happening right now. This summer we started planning our IVF during a boom but when we got to the transfer the board was a bust. Hope some of the good luck here spills over.

The transfer went well. The emby doc showed us pics of the 3 that made it. The 1 was PERFECT and already starting to hatch. That one was PGD'd and is a boy and was at 6 days. The other 2 were A- grade at 5 days (hoping at least one is a girl). According to our doc his biggest concern is not "if" but "how many"??? I am really hoping for twins!

And now the 1 week wait begins and WE get to start peeing on sticks again. Yes I have peed on a few just to rule out evap lines and such... plus its nice to feel like i'm involved. The strange part is that we saw a very faint line on the test from this morning :P it's been 11 days since trigger and last time the trigger was out by about day 8 or 9. We have been testing since the day of trigger just to get an HCG baseline and i'm pretty darn sure the tests have been blank for the last few days. God I hope this is a great sign.

I'll keep you all updated.

Shrunk-good luck and lol @ you peeing as well..

Egg- good luck in Jan I know the wait is hard

Margi- good luck on your upcoming IUI

Bichon-great beta numbers twins???

Karen -Sounds like you have great chances with so many mature eggs

AFM-My lining today was a triple layer 13mm and was told that it was Great... I've read on several websites about the lining getting "too thick" I'm a little worried about this since I also read that the lining should grow 1mm each day of IVF... I know I shouldn't read too much on the web, but I'm just wondering what each of your RE clinics like to see your lining at. I don't have my e2 numbers back yet though...Thanks in advance!

Karen Vanc - I am so sorry about your cat, huge big hugs What a tragedy to deal with. Your betas are fine, when I had my boy my betas were low and they doubled and he is fine so no worries, lots of high betas end up in m/c so as long as it is rising please enjoy being pregnant!!!

annas - I really hope you see the start of a BFP! I still need german shepherd pics!!!

Shrunk - you transfered 3? Awesome for being PUPO! I cracked up at we peeing on sticks, make sure DW is the one peeing on them ;)

Bichon - I am soooo excited for you! I can't wait for your next beta!

SD -try to keep the PMA the meds really mess with your head, it is not you it is the hormones talking!

mellow- your numbers look great! grow follies! Have you guys made a decision on moving yet?

egg- hoping to read about your BFP here soon! Jan is almost here and after the Xmas crazyness! Praying for you

karescorpio - amazing numbers!!!!

Blair - is it Friday yet? Are you going to POAS?

Jenmink - hi PUPO buddy! you got 3 in there? Awesome odds

easley _ I am sorry hun but sometimes waiting for the right time is better even if the wait stinks, praying for your BFP

AFM - sorry for lack of better personals or the updated list, I really have been in a fog. I don't know why. THe only new thing for me is endometrin vs crinone or PIO last times. REally I get up and want to go lay down again, I can't even think straight. It really is like a fog and drowsy feeling. I am also doing estrace and medrol. Anyone get that? My nipples are ouch sore which they were not the other times, so I know the endometrin is doing something cause our babies are blasts today so I should have no symptoms of pregnancy today. I am trying to take it easy but having a little miracle makes it hard to take it easy, I am hopeful and went to acupuncture today. I really feel we are going to get pregnant. WHen we had our boy we transfered 10/8/8/5 and now we transfered 10/8/8/6 so I think it is a good sign! We have a 10 cell in the lab with fragmentation - not the prettiest embibaby but I am praying he makes it to blast and gets frozen, I feel kind of weirg guilty leaving the one little embryo there alone, crazy mamma talk! Got my little blasts floating around today, stick baby stick!

Hey Peeps :) ~ Need some big time prayers right now. I just got home from my scan....I knew I was getting sore for a reason. Sheesh. There are about 17, maybe even more all at 16-17mm. The RE said that if my E2 is above 4000 he will likely cancel. I am certain it's going to be a high number. I tried to convince him I would be okay, based off of my numbers last year being 7000 at trigger. He says the risks are too high. I am trying very hard not get my panties in a knot, but I know something about me that they do not, and they don't like to listen. So as of right now, they are going to trigger me on Saturday night, and go in for retrieval on Monday morning. That may change. We will see. I am so mad at them for not seeing me more frequently so we could try to slow things down before I went out of control. I should get the E2 report later..this is one of the only days they get results back early.

Rio~ Thinking happy thoughts for you. Hopefully the fog you are in is a fantastic sign. No news on a move yet, we don't know what we want to do.

mellow- sorry that you are having issues. Its great to hear about all the eggs though. No wonder you were sore!! Hopefully you get great results back today and can go for retrieval on Monday. Keep us posted!!

Rio- I wish it was friday. No I havent POAS yet and probably wont for the next few days. I guess after too many negatives I am scared to test too early. It stinks that you feel like you are in a fog. As for your nipples...OMG I completely understand. Even a shirt rubbing mine makes me cringe it they are so sore right now. I didnt have this with the last cycle but had soreness with the first ivf. Hopefully its a good sign though!!

ladybugg- sounds like great lining to me. My RE never actually tells me how thick my lining is unless I ask. I was just so excited that they said it was the best its ever been that I forgot to asl last week.

stuck- sounds like you all had a great transfer and a good roadtrip. When is the beta scheduled? Good luck.

anna- So far nothing too bad. Back pain- probably from being in bed for 3 days, some random cramps, and extremely sore nipples. Hoping all of which are a good sign that we are headed in the right direction. How are things with you? Sounds like you saw a faint line which is GREAT!!!! Keep us posted if that line gets any darker.

bishon- I have resisted the POAS so far and hope i can hold out all weekend. Knowing that I have to go out and buy some tests is another deterant. I know that this is our last hope for awhile....no more frosties or money for now. Hoping more than anything this cycle worked and we end up with a baby next July.

Mellow: You have all my prayers....and be tough and advocate for yourself (tell them Tammy said so--she is our resident IVF-advocate!!) I am sorry that you are having this stress when you have some many great follies!! You know yourself better than anyone. Keep your panties "in a knot" and stand firm. I hope that your level is below 4000 and you don't need to fret, but if it isn't I hope and pray that they listen to you. Keep us posted--my soon-2ww-buddy. (Oh, and the sexy bloating--I am all OVER that. Ugh. What can you do?)

Annashope: I am going to post this on both threads. I am soooooo happy that you are seeing a line!! :D :D This is it my friend… Mellow and I will be right behind ya! I can’t wait to see a photo tomorrow..you gotta get a photo for us!! I can’t stop smiling with joy for you. I know things are early, but you have to make it to this step to make it any further--and you so deserve this. Sorry you aren't feeling well--hope it is pregnancy-related symptoms...

Shrunkinapole: Shall we now call you Peeonapole? I think it is awesome you are POASing...both of you!!..you are 9dpo? It is a wonderful sign!...pictures, please!

SD Trying#2: Good luck tomorrow with FET!! You will be PUPO in no time! And I would love to hire someone to clean my house...I think that will be very relaxing for you!

Jen: Sounds like you are quickly entering Crazytown territory!! Congrats on being PUPO!!

KarenV: So sorry about your kitty. That is so devastating--my heart goes out to you. Sorry your beta is getting postponed, but keep up the PMA! I think your first beta was fairly good--and I am sure it will double nicely and give you some relief tomorrow!!

AFM: Nothing new to report...stimming along...since I responded so "well" last cycle I don't have an appt until Monday for my sns. I will try to take it easy this weekend and let my follies grow.

:?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Okay I need some opinions from all you experts IVF'ers out there. Yesterday I was on top of the world after my FET, today I am feeling really doubtful and not sure why
Since I started this bedrest I have been cramping mild to moderate and my lower back is killing me. I can normally get the back pain to stop if I switch positions but the cramping isn't letting up at all. Since my FET was yesterday I am sure it's got nothing to do with a BFN but I am wondering if any of you had cramping like this? I am emotional today and scared, it took me 2 years to get back in the saddle after my Fresh BFN so I cannot imagine another let down!

Any thoughts!!!???

Jen~ I had some really crazy cramping last year with my first IVF. It was so bad I couldn't sleep or find a comfortable position to be in. IT was good news for me. I had a BFP, soooo, I hope that is what is going on with you. I think I was from implantation, and the PIO combined. Good luck, and try not to worry. Crazy town sounds as if it has hit. Smile. :)
