I remembered you talking about the increased risk so I was hoping that big giant beta didn't have you worried.crystal335 wrote:Amanda: I'm okay with multiples, except for the fact that I have chronic hypertension. So, double high risk. I truly feel that God will give me whatever I can handle. I'm just thankful that it's positive, period!

I am 11 days removed from trigger and this am I have a faint line (I used ovidrel) could this be it? I am cautious but I am comparing the tests (internet cheapies) and yesterday there was no line) In the past if it was a bfn I would never get a faint positive 11 days after trigger especially that my bladder is tiny and I pee like every 3 hours sorry tmi
I guess I am now officially in crazy town...oh God help me...lol
Yay for a nice follie count!! Funny how all clinics are different. Ours make us take a hpt morning of ER so they know the trigger is there. I'd feel better about a blood draw. LOL I want to ask them if they use cheap tests. But I don't.moorebaby wrote:update from today's sns:
i have about 20 follies; of course, not all are mature...i think about 15 are.
no more lupron or follistim....woohoo!!! i'm triggering tonight at 11:45 & er is set for 10:45 saturday & i have to be there at 10. have to go back for b/w tomorrow to measure the hcg from the trigger.
the next hurdle is the fertilization. each cycle we have 2 that fertilize...just enough for the et. they didn't even take the freezing fee since that aways happens. they always end up doing a refund, so they said if anything does end up being frozen, they'll bill us.
et is set for tuesday & the beta for saturday, the 27th. the et is the day after my mom's b-day & the beta for the day before my grandmother's b-day who passed away almost 3 years ago.
It's a tough decision, isn't it? Keep me informed as to how things go. What is your clinic's success with thawing? And I guess the grade of the embryos also make a difference....rypell1985 wrote:Sonya...I had to pop on here regarding your question to Osi regarding frosties. DH and I have been struggling with this as well. We have 4 frosties and had planned to transfer 2. RE said she would thaw 3 and in the case that all 3 survive, she would transfer all 3. I don't want to have just 1 frostie. She then said she would start with thawing 2, and if they don't both survive, they could thaw 2 more same day. This was my plan until I went for my second opinion and this doctor doesn't think I need IVF. Now I want to just thaw all 4 and transfer the survivors because I don't want any left. I kinda want to go all out for this one, because if it doesn't work we are going to try the clomid route for a while and I don't want to sit around and wonder if I should be using any remaining frosties. I hate this decision so much! I know the chances of all 4 surviving the thaw is pretty low, but if it did happen I know the chances of multiples is probably crazy high. I feel like that's a bridge I should cross if I get there. I don't know if I am crazy or what! I go tomorrow for my supression check and I told my RE nurse I wanted to discuss this with my RE tomorrow at my appt. We will see what she says. Let's just hope I'm supressed and have to actually make a decision regarding my frosties!
