Jenmink- stay positive!!! Remember we have to pull each other through the next week and a half. I had some cramps over the past few days but just attributed it to the PIO which always does that. Just keep your head up. Like I always told my friend (who just delivered her 1st baby after 6 IVF cycles) there is nothing you can do to change things at this point and you have no reason to belive there is anything wrong. Cheer up and try to enjoy bedrest. Your back will feel ten time better as soon as your free- trust me I'm escaping the house for the first time right now for dinner. Good luck.

Lots of ET'/FET's going on this week!!!

I had my FET today. We transferred 2 and everything went well. On bed rest for the next 2 days and then couch time. Hardest part is I can't lift my son..but will be well worth it. I'm having some mild "twinges" but nothing serious yet.

We have out beta on 11/22. Not sure if I will POAS or not...hmmmmm I didn't do it last time- I guess I was chicken.

Jenmink- how are you so lucky to have your beta so early???

I wish everyone the best and baby dust...

Jenmink you are not alone. I am totally here with you in crazy town maybe even a resident in insanity village. I too worry for every silly cramp and ache even though I know it is normal and I can't do anything about it. However the laying on my back was really hurting my back too so it got much better once I moved into the recliner.

AFM tried FRER and still see the faintest of faint lines and wow did I suddenly land in crazy town.....lol but I am taking control and only testing with First morning pee and being patient from now on...lol as much as I can. I still have 6 days before beta....oh God help me I will be completely crazy by then...lol

Anna~ Yay!!! This sounds very promising to me. :) A lot better than last time. I hope the line keeps getting darker and your beta shows a nice high and happy number.

Got the go ahead to trigger Saturday night. For now I am overloading myself on protein. I feel sore, that will likely get worse as things keep growing. There was also a problem at the lab at the location I have to go normally for the retrieval and transfer...they said they were having pressure problems...so a different location, and late in the day on Monday. 1:15 is what we are scheduled for. Monday seems forever away, especially with how uncomfortable I am feeling.

Off to gorge myself with sickening amounts of protein. :)

Mellow: Yeah!! So glad that you got the go-ahead for trigger...so, very glad!! :D You will be PUPO in no time...and I will be right behind ya!

Annashope: You are really in Crazytown my dear! LOL. I wish I had some wonderful advice...trying to distract yourself is always the advice, but easier said than done. Take care of yourself--and we are still waiting for picture of your shepherd furbaby! And hoping that line gets darker and darker...pictures of that too!!

Just wondering if anyone has had trouble with rising progesterone levels? The clinic called and they weren't worried about the lining getting too thick, but they want me to go back on Monday to recheck my progesterone. Anyone know more about this?

hi all.. i've read everyone's posts but i think i'm too sad to comment on everyone's news, and sorry if it's self absorbed to just talk about myself, but i really just need to get this out.

so my second beta dropped from 65, down to 38. the clinic only left me a msg while i was at work, so we haven't talked about it yet, but obviously it's devastating. unless i've missed something in my embie development knowledge- it's OVER. these tests were almost exactly 48 hours apart. so, i'm just so sad. and this coming the day after my cat dies, is just too much. if i didn't have my son and my dh, i think i'd throw myself off a bridge. i am so grateful i already have a child, but at the same time, i can't deny how sad and disappointed i am. it's so hard to wrap my mind around doing more IF treatment as we have to pay for everything...and we've already done 4 treatments out of pocket. i hate that money is an object, but the reality is, that it IS. to go ANOTHER 12 G's in debt is hard to swallow, at the old age of 38, when my eggs are already almost gone.

and it really hurts that my friend just got pregnant. after trying for the first month. it totally pisses me off, and it's not that she's an ungrateful person, she's wonderful. but it just hurts so much. so she got PG at the exact same time as me...we compared notes after i got my POAS bfps. so she'll be pg for the next 9 months, and i will not. F i am so angry.

sorry for the rant. and i'm also sorry to those who haven't been blessed with a child yet, as this probably sounds terrible to you. i remember those days when i thought 'if i just have one- that'll be enough and i'll be so happy' - and it's true that i'm so happy and blessed with what i have, yet i just have this dream of a bigger family that's hard to let go of.

best of luck to everyone, i'll stay around to follow everyone's progress and be your cheerleader

Karenvancouver~ I'm so sorry. We all feel your hurt with you. There are no words to say, only that I am sorry. There is so much pain and disappointment in the world of IF. When we lost the baby this summer, it felt like such a slap in the face after losing our son this spring. Life is just hard, so very hard. Will be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. Stay strong. Sending you great big HUGS. Don't feel bad about ranting, we all need an outlet sometimes, and we are hear for you whenever you need.

Blessed~ Yes, Lupron can cause headaches...I had a lot this time. Sorry, but, do know that they will get better. Mine are gone now. :)

ladybug~ if the progesterone level is rising that could mean you are not suppressed enough and are getting ready to ovulate. When in doubt, ask them and see what they are thinking. Hopefully they will share with you what is going on.

Margi~ when will you be doing your next IUI? Thinking happy thoughts for you!

Anna~ Thankfully since you are going through crazy town now, you will be able to talk those of us not there yet off the ledge. haha :) So happy to hear you are seeing some POSITIVE signs.

SD~ Here it is: 2340! Yay, they are letting me trigger Saturday, even though it will be well above 4000 by then. :)

I have the craziest week ahead of me. Brother and sister in law and their 1 year old son arrive tomorrow...Saturday morning another sister in law arrives. The next sister in law and her boyfriend get here sometime Saturday afternoon. Monday, day of retrieval my Mom and Dad in law get here. Thursday, my niece arrives...and then by the next weekend before my transfer everyone leaves in time for me to be on bed rest. And once we have conquered that, it's time for the hubs birthday and thanksgiving on the same day. Add in to that appointments and classes, and grocery shopping, keeping the house clean...and NOT losing my mind. Full Plate! Should be fun.

KarenVancouvorIsand: I am so very sorry. There are no "right" words to say at this point. Mellow said it: there is just so much pain with the world of IF. Most of us have experienced it at some--or multiple--points and can relate. But it is never easy. When I had my miscarriage this summer, my best friend had just gotten married and pregnant as well, "on their first try". She is 40 and never had gotten pregnant before. I care about her deeply, and am happy for her, but try as I might, it is so hard to hear about her every milestone, when our due-dates were literally days apart. Please don't ever apologize for venting...that is what we are here for--the ups and the downs. Sending you (((((HUGS))))) and prayers for strength.

At work...more personals later.

Karen vancouver - Fuc*. I am so sorry hun, huge hugs. How many did you transfer? Is there any chance at all one early twin didn't make it? Are you taking another beta? I am so sorry. Also make sure it is not an ectopic... Yes it is a slap in the face and for those of us who pay out of pocket, in these economic times it is a hard decision to go in another $12k of debt. I am 39 and on the same boat. Yes you are lucky to have your son but you know what? It husrt to have this IVF not work just the same, the elation of BFP and then beta hell. Scream, take time for yourself and I hope you find a way to come back and try again. This really is not fair. My nephews brand new wife who is 42, smokes and drinks like crazy, does not want children just got pregnant 2 month after trying "for him" - yeah crap on me won't you? Huge hugs and I wish you the best!!!
