Chrisbaby- Welcome!!! We're happy to have you here with us.

Kynlee- I'm still hoping all goes well for your transfer so keep us posted.

Phyona- I'm so excited for you!! I had spotting and cramping with my pregnancy. Actually it was a little worse than spotting, almost like my cycle was starting. It was bad enough for me to take about 1200mg of Motrin for the cramping to go away. But that was before I even knew I was anything close to expecting. They told me later on that it was implantation bleeding. So hopefully that's the same thing with you!! Stay positive, you are almost there. Just 2 more days until your official good news. You and Kynlee both, stay positive and strong, everything's going to be just fine.

AFM-Had my HSG this morning and now since I'm not as loopy from the meds, the doctor's words are starting to register. I have 2 blocked tubes. My reproductive organs never ceases to amaze me. :) Gotta find a smile in there somewhere. So I have an appt with her at the end of the month almost, like Thanksgiving week. So that'll give me tons of time to research blocked tubes and see what my chances are of conceiving again. Gotta love severe endometriosis. But I've been reading a lot of the successful conception posts on this site and I see where ladies have gone on to become mommies with blocked tubes and in some cases, no tubes. So ladies, I'll stay positive as best as possible until they take my insides out! So until then, we will all press on this journey together, and will be SUCCESSFUL in becoming mommies to new little ones and will pass these experiences on to the ones that will follow. High five ladies, we'll get through this.

justsolost - So just one day to go!! Seems like its taking forever!! I had more spotting today... even thought i might of seen a little pink in there too.... really really nervous! :(

The nurse did say it may be my cervix bleeding... it seems to happen in the night then spend the morning coming out... its not that much tho... but hopefully all will be revealed tomorrow!
Its nice to hear those positive words from you... makes me more hopefull!! :)

btw my tubes were servearly blocked... they said it was tublar disorder or something... anyway one of them kept filling with fluid and was measuring 9cm x 3cm so in the end they removed it... so I only have 1 left now that there is such bad scaring they cannot clear it! But I know in some cases they can clear them if they are not to bad! Also had borderline overian cancer and they removed part of my overies 2 1/2 years ago! I have been through so much over the past few years that I hope something good comes out of it!I think alot of people with Blocked tubes end up having IVF i dont think there are many other options! However after my friend had her first child they told her that she would never have children again due to her having such badly blocked tubes, however she did concieve again and has to beautiful boys now... so you just never know!!

Kynlee, good luck with your transfer tomorrow.... hope it all goes perfectly for you... got my fingers crossed... :)

Baby dust for every one... good luck :) :)

justsolost- So sorry that your Mom said such awful things to you....Dont let her get you down, This is your choice your Journey dont let her ruin it.... Everyone deserves to have their dreams come true, and some times people say hurtful things cause there mad or jealous of something you have or want... I dont know your Mom, but for her to say that to her OWN child isnt caring at all, maybe she should look in the mirror and see her own actions... You ARE and will be again a GREAT mother.... You are going threw a big enough rollercoaster then to listen to someone that wants to bring you down... Smile you have your child your DH and all of us Here for you... (huge hugs)

JUSTSOLOST,
I'm praying that your mom will come to good terms and realize that this is your goal and she needs to be more supportive! Sometimes family cannot wrap themselves around everything we are going through, but that's why this forum is so brilliant and we continue to be there for each other.

Hi Girls, I hope you dont mind me coming in on your post so late...

Chrisbaby I am also a Melbourne girl and am with Monash IVF in Richmond. Which clinic are you going through?

Phyona, I am sorry to hear about your unsuccessful first attempt. I recently had a failed first cycle and am currently 1 week into my second round. I feel a bit more realistic this time round and my expectations are a little less high. I am still super hopeful and positive that it will work but i am more aware of how complicated it all is... I am on a new process this time which involves a longer period of injections (about 22 days) to shut down my cycle and then an additional 5 injections in the final stage to increase my LH levels. I dont completley understand everything that is going on but am hopeful that it may fix what went wrong last time and i might have a bun in the oven by Xmas! Did you have any frosties or do you have to do the entire cycle again? If so when will you be starting?

P.S I agree, my husband has been amazing and i think we are closer now than we have ever been... What would we do without them!

Hi ladies!! Sorry it's been a while. I'll do my best to catch up.

Phyona-sweetie I'm sooo sorry about your outcome. Thank God for your super supportive honey. That support is so great, you gotta love 'em. Take some time to you know, deal with the emotions and hopefully that will help with answering the questions from those you told about the procedure. I hope you guys will keep trying. You truly deserve it.

Kynlee-I'm glad everything went well. Bury babies, bury!! I hope you have tons planned to keep your mind occupied for the next 10 days.

Sunshine1576-thanks so much. However, the honey and I have decided that once this happens for us, we won't be sharing the news with the family. They'll have to see the tummy and ask questions. And that'll take some serious staring because I'm looking about 4 months pregnant already. So we'll keep the wonderful news to ourselves as best as possible because we don't want to hear anything from ill-wishers.

Sarahp66-I hope this 2nd time around works out for you guys. A bun in the oven will be a SUPER Christmas gift!

AFM-just hanging around until my appt in 2 weeks to see what happens next. So until then I'll be a cheerleader for you guys.
