Klinger- I'm sorry you are spotting. I am wondering if the progesterone suppository is the way to go. I'm just throwing this out there. I have learned a degree full of information about the cervix since losing my twins bc of it. My surgeon and new MFM who is a cervical specialist doesn't recommend using vag suppositories while pregnant bc it increases your risk of infection. Especially bc it irritates the hell out of the cervix. I know the shots are a bit more involved but they won't annoy your cervix and you have no residue. I just wanted to share this. Most people have no issues with infection but putting something in your who-who everyday increases your odds. Hope all calms down. Xoxo

AFM - will have an update tomorrow on my embies. Tomorrow is PGD day and Monday is transfer!!!!

okay - so today is day 2 since stopping the progesterone (if I'm counting right.... I took my last dose Friday morning. None Friday night.... Today is Sunday morning).

I totally don't feel like AF is on the way! Usually I get crampy and bloated and headaches. I'm feeling fine! Ugh... I really hope i get my period in the next few days. The clinic said 2-3 days after I stop the progesterone. So on Tuesday morning I'll call if I haven't gotten my period yet.... but I hope I do!

My co-workers must think I have an incontinence problem... I'm running to the bathroom every 30 min to see if my period is here yet!

I'm also up to my old "tempting fate" tricks. Brand new white underwear today. No tampons or pads in my purse. Khaki pants. If this doesn't work, I don't know *what* will :D

Karin - Hope everything goes great with ED's ER today!! Can't wait to hear how it goes!

ester and cheri - Hoping for great fert reports for both of you today!

karen - hoping PGD goes well today and so glad you'll be PUPO tomorrow!

leorira - LOL at your "tempting fate" comment, but seriously AF better find you really soon!

kynlee - I'm sorry you're getting BFNs but I'm still holding out hope for your beta.

karian - Wow, your fert report is amazing!

Victoria - OMG that doctor sounds like a real jerk! I hope there is another one you can see that will be positive and work with you. He sure does sound crazy!

AFM, Thanks again ladies for all of your input and reminding me not to worry. I haven't had any more spotting and the cramping let up last night. I feel silly for getting so worried, but I guess after the losses it's just hard not to. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Girls I need some advice from those of you with lots of IVF experience. I am 6dp 5dt and still a bfn on FRER this AM is there still a chance I am pregnant but it is early? Do FET's take longer to show up? I am so sad today...beta in 3 days and on DH's bday and I am so scared that I will disappoint him somehow. He is so great and wants this so bad and I am just begging God for a miracle since we have no more money to keep doing this...at least for a while

You've got to remember that MOST bfps appear at about 13.7 days. Clinics frown heavily upon early testing and this is why... unless you've done it a lot and *know* when your body metabolizes the hormone, you can't rely on an early bfp. Don't lose hope, you are still early and there is a chance you will get a positive beta. :) I know it's difficult. ((hugs))

11dpo is still three days early - I would never give an early bfn that much credit. You have every chance that you'll have good news! :) Everyone metabolizes differently and yes, FET's are notorious for slow betas. I hope your DH has a wonderful gift on his BD.

I peed on two IC's and the test line is lighter than the test line which it hasn't been for ten days. FREAKED me out! Not a lot lighter, but just enough to notice. That and having just a few symptoms has me rather worried now. To top it off, I noticed that I'm not peeing more than usual, and yesterday I had more energy and was in a fairly good mood all day. Ugh. I know there are a ton of women whom pregnancy agrees with, I'm hoping I'm one of them.

Honestly there's a bit of a sick feeling that something's happened. Im tempted to get another beta on Monday but I'm rather terrified at the same time.

Sonya - welcome to the wacky world of early pregnancy. Everyone who has had a loss feels that way! I'm sure everything is fine. You really can't judge on how dark a HPT is, since sometimes the individual tests have different amounts of dye. Also, your urine concentration could be off. Don't worry about it! I'm sure you'll get good news on Wednesday.

Anna- I've heard that FETs can take longer to implant - hence later BFPs. Don't give up hope yet!

Amanda - I know everyone will say this, but spotting is really common in IVF pregnancies. I hope everything is okay.

AFM ------- SHE'S BAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! AF started this morning! A bit of spotting, but turning into a decent flow. I got all my paperwork in order and I head to the clinic for my first SnS tomorrow morning. Come on, FET!

I'll called my husband because I was so excited that I got my period. Reminded me of the time I had a pregnancy scare in college. I've never been so excited to get a period! Now, hopefully, I'll have a period now and NO MORE for another 9 months!

Klingar - I am glad the champing and spotting has stopped. It could be just your babies settling in!

Sonya, good luck with your beta, I am sure all will be fine, when is your u/s

Afm- I am really depressed, just not myself. I have to wait 4 weeks for my af to start before I can proceed with my fet in December. Even though I am starting to feel like I will never have another baby, I have been trying for over 7 years. If god did not give me a baby then, then why now? To top it off, my sister in law was in labor the same day I found out about my bfn, so the whole family is going all soft over her baby, I have been ill and away so I have not been around to visit her but that is a blessing because it s going to hurt. I really don't understand why me, DH is going to want to be all over the baby too, which will hurt as I may never see him be that way over our baby! I just want to hid away, why is my body letting me down! How do you get through this?

Sonya thank you so much for your encouragement I will try to stay calm. Its weird there is literally no reason for me to worry but somehow the "perfect iui's" having been all negatives in the past has me in this fearful funk. I was just wondering if you have ever heard of getting a positive on one test and not the other? Yesterday DH bought Rite aid brand (the two blue lines) and I took those 4 times since and somehow I get a line on those every time....within 3-5minutes and those have gotten darker, but since its not first response I am questioning it and FR is still uncooperative....I mean I think I see a line there too but it is so faint....does first response give evap lines? I am asking you because you are such an expert on these things.
Also please don't worry about the line being lighter Leorira is right tests are different and pee concentration varies as per symptoms...with my son I hardly had any....back then my periods were 40 days apart and I only got to the ob and confirmed my pregnancy at 8 weeks...up until that point I felt about the same as always. I am sure you are fine. Your ultrasound day is my beta day so hopefully we both get really great news.

Leorira my dear!!! :D I have never been happier to hear that someone got AF lol YAY!!!! now on to getting pregnant...so excited for you

Klinger thank God spotting has decreased!!! My sister in law had spotting the entire first trimester (bit ivf pt) and my beautiful nephew is 18months old. She too was scared but by 12 weeks it just stopped. :D Hugs...hang in there!

Osi, I didn't know you already had a child. Sometimes I wonder if it's harder for second-time moms because we know what we're missing, or for first time moms who have never had the joy of it all. I had five babies born in my close family during my last 'two' pregnancies. I was pregnant twice and lost two during a few of those pregnancies - that was difficult. I had to really separate their pregnancies from mine and feel happiness for their joy, while still mourning our own loss. It's tough.

The only thing that helped me was faking it until it felt real - the joy for other's I mean. I was even able to throw a baby shower for one new nephew. It was hard, but feeling happiness was essentially better than feeling depression. It took a concentrated effort and decision on how I was going to handle things... and I had to do it in my own time. Remember that you have much to be happy about, how blessed the rest of your life is. My husband remind ourselves every day that we have a full, happy life and are exceptionally blessed with health, stable finances, a home, and each other. A baby is not everything to us - it's the overflow on a cup that is already full.... the icing on the cake.. whatever you want to call it...

We live each day without a baby, and we still smile and laugh and are in love and pursue our careers and plan vacations. We are essentially living the worst possible outcome every single day - and we are still very, very happy. There is a need and a deep desire for us to have our own child, one that might never go away, but one we know we can still live a full and happy life in spite of it's presence.

Anna; I highly doubt that you are getting that many false positives on your blue dye test, to be honest. If they are showing up right away, the line is nice and thick, then you most likely have a bfp. As for the FRER - take it out of the case and let it dry, then see if there's a line. Can you take photos of the blue dye tests and post them? Sounds VERY promising!!
