Help bleeding since Thursday is all hope lost?

Hi all a little about myself I started on ivf last July unfortunately was prescribed wrong dosage and I just ovulated as usual so they cancelled the cycle this time round they got 8 follies 5 where mature and only 3 fertilised with icsi as our only problem is my DH had a vasectomy after previous marriage and had sperm extracted same day they extracted the follies, they transferred 2 after 3 days on the 1st November the third one didn't,t make it for freezing and they could only implant 2. Well 2days ago ( thursday) I started spotting it was the day Af would have been due I called the clinic and the doctor basically said well as long as it dons,t turn to a bleed it's ok well I have continued spotting yesterday and today it's a lot heavier last night it was black brown today it's brown pink my usual Af is bright red and twice as heavy but doc said if I had to use a pad it was basically bad news anybody out there had bleeding before a positive beta? But I mean a bleed like a light period not tiny spots thanks aim a nervous reck I have been POAS since 2dpt and always bfn not even trigger showed up!
I have a horrible metallic taste in my mouth since Thursday too and af like cramps since 2dpt ,If anyone knows of anyone who's got a bfp like this please let me know tomorrow is otd for hpt no blood work done unless hpt shows a bfp!

Bleeds are pretty normal after an ivf cycle, and even during a normal pregnancy. Has you clinic done a proper beta on you yet? May I ask why you didn't get your DH's vasetomy reversed instead of going through getting the sperm and IVF?

Basically he'd had it for over 13 yrs so they gave him a really low success rate also many clinics refused to do the sperm extraction because they said there was a very low chance they would find sperm finally found a clinic that would and was recommended by couples I know whom have had same prob it's a good thing we didn't do the reversal as very little sperm was found and I don't know the correct term for it but they can no longer swim lol so icsi was going to be our only choice either way reversal here costs as much as 1 ivf cycle minus meds so had we done the reversal and found that his sperm would make it on it's own we would have had to safe for the whole process unfortunately here in Gibraltar there are no clinics so we have to go private to Spain I had to remortgaged my home for this last try and I am already filling out applications for an extension to try again next February . I haven' t had by beta tomorrow is official test day but they only gave me a hpt doc said if hpt is neg then no blood work will be done ? But I have heard of people who have been pregnant and hpt have always come out neg so I don't understand why anyway been POAS and getting BFN's plus the bleeding let's see what test says tomorrow and what answer doc says when I call

Test came back negative guess wilk have to save for another try not been offered bloodwork just been told to drop progesterone and estradiol and pop in sometime this week so much for so little very depressing
