Hi Anna-

What day was your FET again? That's weird to get a positive on the Rite Aid brand but a negative on the FRER? I would still keep up alive! From everything I read the FET's are slower to attach thus harder to detect early. I think you should just wait until your Beta-- and welcome to insanity villiage. I have been living here since FET, I straight up passed crazy town!

AFM-- Cramping pretty bad yesterday, none this morning until I got up and started moving around. UGH-- this is what happened with my BFN so I am not feeling very confident right now. I am probably going to POAS Monday morning before work. Believe it or not DS is the pusher in our family.. hilarious!

Hi,

I am going through my first IVF cycle this november too - debated for a long time whether I should join a forum, finally gave in and here I am.

I hope there is still room for one more person in this group.

As for me, I am 28 years old, with unicornuate uterus and non-communicating left ovary (probably the cause of our infertility). DH is perfect, 34. TTC #1 for 3 years. First IVF cycle - November 2010, started stimming on the 6th.

Healing and Hoping--- Welcome! This is a great place to share and learn.

Thanks ladies for all of your kind words of hope.

AFM-- the gushing blood and cramping finally seemed to stop after about 12 hours. Now 24 hours later there is little to no cramping but still some blood when I wipe. So we will go thru another day of waiting and bed rest and find out tomorrow if there is anything left. :? Just too numb to know how I am feeling. Poor DH has been taking this pretty hard. I hope today will be a better day for him.

krisnjer - sorry hun please take it super easy. GOod thing he saw your bean and who knows why this stuff happens. My mom had 2 regular periods and did not know she was pregnant! SO lots of women bleed and go on to have healthy babies. I am praying for you, of course you are terrified but please try and keep the PMA!!!

Karenvanc - sent you a pm

annas - it is still too early to get a definite NO so it could still be a big YES!

blair - I am with you on I don't know if I will POAS or not, I will probably test out my trigger then who knows...

Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement. I have decided not to POAS anymore as it is stressing me out!!! I keep thinking of how fearful I am to get a negative on Wed but let's face it...there is no way to prepare for a negative so why keep trying. I keep trying to tell myself that I am 28 with absolutely no problems, that we transferred 2 perfect blasts and that it has only been 5-6 days since our transfer...lol we transferred last Monday at 4pm so at 4pm today they will have been in my body for 6 days and I have no previous experience with FET so maybe it takes longer and I am worrying for nothing. I just keep looking at what others are saying and so many people see a positive sooner but I guess it varies. Regardless I quit POAS and will now pretend I am preggo until proven otherwise. Sorry girls for being such a psycho the past few days but ever since our loss in July I have so desperately wanted to get here again and I guess I psyched myself out. Also I am thinking of moving the beta to Thursday so it wouldn't coincide with DH's bday to relieve the pressure...IDK what do you girls think?

On another note I am doing prometrium vag 2x a day and my question is does anyone else get cramps a couple of hours after doing prometrium and how long do you lay down after you put it in. I try to stay down for 45mins to make sure is stays there....sorry if tmi

 Ugh, this POAS is for the birds!!!!!
I caved and took one this afternoon, today is 4dpt5dt and it was a BFN. Is it too early to test???? My first Beta is on Tuesday so I would think that a positive would show up on a damn stick!!! I am so defeated right now.... :( I feel like I am already in for major bad news, I just can't shake it *tears*

I transferred 3 embies on Wed @ 11pm I would think SOMETHING would be happening in there!? I have been having major hot flashes and on and off cramps which worry me.

Need some words of inspiration-- I am a wreck right now! :(

Hi Deedle... sorry to crash the forum, but I noticed your siggy and wanted to ask a quick question. I had two back to back blighted ovums with pretty low and slow betas. My betas this time around are high and quickly doubling.... do you recall how your betas were for your Blighted Ovum and how far along it was discovered? Sorry for your loss, as well...

Congrats on your trigger and much luck with your ER - how many follies do they see so far?

It's TOO early to rely on a stick! Most women can't get a bfp until at least 12dpo and many, many until beta day. Cramps are normal and a good sign.... distract yourself... the worry never ends... I have excellent betas and am a wreck about my upcoming ultrasound.

jenmink-So you caved. I really wouldnt be disappointed since its still pretty early to be testing. Yes some people get positive results early on but it doesnt happen to everyone. I have heard of tons of people who could not get a positive on the home pregnancy test until after the beta. I am sure its driving you crazy but not too much longer and this dreaded wait will be over. Stay positive and dont let this get you down- you are PUPO!!

deedle- welcome to the boards. Good luck with the trigger tonight!!

annashope- Im glad you decided not to POAS anymore. It sounds like it was driving you beyond crazytown. You and I transferred the same day (mine was at about 12:30p) so I know exactly how you feel and not knowing whats going on right now drives me up a wall. I keep trying to convince myself that it really worked this time but its easier said than done. FET hcg take longer to increase so stay positive!!! It doesnt matter who tests when and how early they can get results because everyone is different. If it would be less stressful for you all to move the beta off of DHs bday I would probably consider it. Mine isnt scheduled until Friday- I guess they just like to drag things out. As for the suppositories im not sure since Ive always done the PIO. Good luck and we are here if you need anything.

rio- I really want to POAS but I see how crazy its making everyone. Ive always caved all the other cycles so I cant decide what to do this time. The first IVF we did I got slight positives and then took a digital and it said pregnant....and still no baby so I guess im just hesitant this time around. I didnt have a trigger so if I test its all in for us. Tomorrow makes 7dp6dt so I should get the BFP but I think I may be too scared still.

krisjner- Glad to hear that things have slowed down for you. Stay positive and hopefully tomorrow you will still see the little blip on the screen. Keep us posted and try to stay relaxed.

hopingforamiracle- Welcome. Its great to have new people on here. I know I was glad to have the support of people going through similar experiences with our first IVF in June, so remember we are here if you ever want to vent.

AFM- Started the Lovenox last night...OMG. It burned/stung so badly I almost started crying. And this is coming from someone who has been doing her own PIO and Delestrogen injections. Hopefully it doesnt hurt as bad tonight...or that I at least get used to it. I am beyond anxious for the beta friday morning but it seems like a lifetime away. Still havent caved in and bought any HPTs, but I really really want to. I have felt pretty optimistic with this cycle, but know that seeing a negative would shatter that. I have some slight cramping every now and then but nothing too noticeable. My boobs (especially my nipples- TMI) are still beyond sensitive and hurt to touch, but other than that no other symptoms so far.

I do not know my numbers. I got pregnant naturally and I don't think I went in for a beta. My 7 week u/s was suspicious and they had me return in 1wk. At that time they diagnosed me with the blighted ovum. I don't believe I had more than one beta. Sorry I can't help

:) Thanks everybody for your replies, I feel 100% better now. I know FET takes longer to show up and I so need this to work. Financially if it doesn't we are probably out of the game until late next year which puts me at 38 years old. I know the stats go down at 38 so I am totally scared about that. We still have 2 frozen 6 day embies but I think I will go straight to another fresh cycle since my maternal age is advanced (according to RE). I know fresh is better than frozen, at least that's what they say LOL.
Coming up with another $15k is a huge financial burden, I cannot believe how much money we have already spent on this! I will do whatever it takes to get my BFP.. I am hoping by Thursday night I will know for sure since that is my 2nd Beta and the 1st one they will read.

Thanks again -- I am so glad I have all of you to bounce these questions and concerns off of. This is such an emotional journey!

Anna and Jen~ It's early for you both, especially since you did FET. Those for some reason do take longer to show up. Don't fret just yet. Thinking happy thoughts. :)

Just a quick hello, and will try to do personals later.

Our company arrived Friday and Saturday, and the worst thing happened....We have the stomach flu. Someone just shoot me now. UGH. So a house full of people puking, a trigger shot at 3:15 am last night, and ER tomorrow at 1:15. I am going to be sooo hungry tomorrow, since I'm not eating today. What a pain in the neck.

Oh no Mellow!!! Oh I hate the stomach flu!!! I would rather have the regular flu over the stomach kind. I really hope you feel better and just think after your transfer tomorrow you will be PUPO and will be able to eat whatever you want  At least I do that. Once PUPO I let myself eat all of my favorite foods as a reward ( I spoil myself a bit)

I will be thinking of you tomorrow. Good luck
