Blastocyst higher sucess rate?

Hi i've been wondering if its true that blastocyst transfers offer a higher sucess rate then why do many clinics not offer this unless you have many fertilized eggs? I have read that the reason its not done without plenty of embryos is as theres a risk that non will make it to blast and therefore have none to transfer but if they dont make it to blast in the lab will they make it inside us? Wouldnt it be best for them to go to blast and offer us a higher success rate other than transffering doubtful embries?

I suspect most that arrest in the lab would also arrest in the uterus.

Clinics therefore use blastocyst culture as a screening tool to find the best embryos among many. But if you have only one or two good embryos on day 3, there is no need for further screening.

Of course, any day 3 transfer risks transferring embryos that cannot make it to the blastocyst stage. That's why the success rates are lower.
