December Transfers??

I have just started this process, but hoping maybe in the next month or two. I have to wait until right around Thanksgiving to get my FHS test to determine where to go from here...but due to my situation it seems that IVF is the only reasonable option. I would like to join in and hear everyone's expertise! I have started a blog to journal this process...please check in and comment!!

I'm off my progesterone now... AF should come either today or tomorrow. I'm not feeling like I'll get my period... but hopefully I will! Fingers crossed!

wow, I've had a rollercoaster 24 hours! I thought I started my period yesterday morning. I was sooooooo excited! I called the insurance to get my paperwork. I scheduled a SnS at the clinic..... and then the bleeding stopped. Completely. Not even a little bit....
I knew that my lining was 18mm - I should bleed like crazy for days and days.... I started to really freak out that something was wrong and I wouldn't be able to cycle....

Then I woke up this morning and AF is here with a vengeance! I'm super appreciating my heavy cramping and super tampons! Bring it on, *****!

yay! My period is here in full force. I'm so glad to be finally done with my whole miscarriage. What a nightmare.

I went for SnS today. U/s looks perfect - no cycsts, very thin lining. If my bloodwork is all okay, I should start my estrogen tablets tonight. FET in less than a month! yay!

Is anyone doing acupuncture during their cycle? I'm trying it out this morning, but honestly, it seems like it might be more of a hassle than a help. They want me to have treatments twice a week in my RE's office, which means missing even more work. What are everyone's thoughts?

I got the call! I start the estrogen today. 3 oral tablets/day and another SnS in a week.

Dahlia - I'm interested in accupuncture - but I"m concerned about extra cost and extra time. Im' looking into it. Let me know how it goes and if you recommend it!

Hi ladies...just checking in on all of you! I started my Estrace yesterday, so I wait until my lining check on the 29th to see if my lining looks good. Hopefully transfer is still good for the 3rd of December!

I finally got to reduce my Lupron to 5 units once a day....so I'm hoping some of these hot flashes and headaches lay off now! Anyone have any experience with side effects of Estrace? Just curious what I should expect!

Hi Ryann, Today is day 4 of 10cc lupron injections and I have had a constant headache since I started. I also have some hotflash episodes. Neither have been severe, just annoying. I think for you it may have gotten so bad due to the length of time you were on Lupron. I'm glad that it is getting better for you now. I'm now wondering what other side effects the other meds will bring. Hopefully they wont be too bad. I am still expecting to have a Dec. 3 ER.

Hi Everyone !!

I thought I'd post on this board since my ER and my ET will be in December !

I was supposed to start injections yesterday however my estrogen was too high so they put me on birth control pills for a week. So next Monday I get to start my shots which are Menopur and Follistem. I really dont see many people using Menopur. Now I see people on Follistem a lot. Anyone have any thought on this?

I will read the boards and get caught up to date on everyone! I see a few people I recognize from the fall board.

Hello Ladies,

I was looking at the post and decided that I should join as it looks like I will be having my first transfers towards the end of December, this is all new to me so I feel really lost. I look at all the abbrevations and I don't know what they mean. Hoping to be able to chat with you ladies regular so that I can get the hang of things. Tonight I will be going to my IVF orientation with my husband. I will be starting my lupron shots on Dec 3rd. It's so much, but hope for a great outcome. Anything that you ladies can provide will be really helpful.
