TammyS: I hope you get better soon. LOL @ having DH return the gift!.... Now I know what you mean about having only 4-5 embryos. Thankfully we got a lot, but now we have to think about whet to do with them. For now the rest will go into freezing and that gives us a full year to think and agree on what we would like to do with them. Even if I do a couples of FET we would still have some left.

This embie is a fighter and I will fight for him/her. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!

Good luck to all transfers, retrievals, and betas this week. Now that I'm over my little pity party for one, I'm going to read thru all I've missed and catch up on some personals tonight!

Wow! 5 pages to catch up on. This is going to take awhile. lol

Leorira...Yayyy for AF finally!!! You are on your way!!! Do you know when your approx FET would be then? Have fun at your SnS tomorrow and be sure to report everything as soon as you can.

Amanda...Glad to hear that you're feeling better now and that the bleeding/cramping has stopped. Your beta will be terrific tomorrow and your u/s will be here before you know it. Try not to worry!

Ester...What a wonderful ER and fertilization report! That is terrific! Cant wait to hear how they are doing tomorrow! This is sooo going to be your time! Very exciting news!

Lauren...So sorry about the OHSS...hope you are taking it easy and feeling better. Good Luck tomorrow! I am sooo hoping and praying that you get your BFP! OHSS symptoms usually indicate a BFP...so it really could be a great sign of good things to come! Try not to worry about the hpts...I have a friend who can only get betas...hpts dont work on her no matter how far along she is...for all 4 of her pregnancies. Yes, at my age, I have to do back to back cycles...each month at 42 is like a year gone by for younger women. I'm pretty sure that I am entering early menopause as well. Back to back cycles (for me) have no affect on the outcome medically. My baseline....follies, E2 levels, lining, and everything are perfect at the start of each cycle...as though I had waited a few months. Emotionally wise...it really helps me...to just move on and keep trying. I am a go getter and cant stand waiting around to try again. Just this wait of 5 days to get AF after stopping PIO...kills me. lol

Rio...I am sooo sooo sorry about your little embie...boy do I know exactly how you feel. Just try to keep in mind that it just wasnt a strong embie to begin with. I have now put back 19 embryos and have made 24 embryos...5 of which did not make it to freeze or to even 3 days along. It is very sad. Big Hugs. On a good note....I am soooo feeling twins for you this cycle! I am sooo excited for you and cant wait till you poas! You should start seeing the trigger fade now...and with twins a BFP by Wed/Thurs. Good Luck!

Rio...Oh and yes we do ICSI and AH. I do sorta remember PMApsy. I hope we get to be pregnant together again soon too.

Rio again...I'm reading from one screen and answering on this screen as I read along. lol To answer your question about what the RE meant about you feeling any symptoms yet. I have a feeling that she thinks you are going to be pregnant with multiples...no doubt about it...and if they attached as early as Friday or Saturday (yes, can be Friday)...the combined hcg's of the multiples may have you feeling something...but honestly...yeah...most likely much too early. So do you feel anything yet?! LOL I really think she was just curious...since a very few people may feel something already...and so she asked. I wouldnt look into it too much though...sometimes they forget that every little thing they ask or say can send us worrying and questioning everything...when we shouldnt be. Sooo quit worrying! lol

Renee...I just love keeping up with you and everything on FB..and especially seeing you on here cheering us on and keeping us updated as well. Congrats again on your twins.

Margi...I have no idea about AF affecting your lining...hopefully it wont be any big deal...I'm guessing you will be fine. Let us know what they say about that and everything else tomorrow after your SnS. What is your lining normally at trigger anyhow?

Karin...Congrats on the new house. I could never let DH pick a house. lol How did ER go today? How did the PIO go for you? Cant wait to hear all about it!

Crystal...That is a wonderful beta! Wow!! Sounds like twins with such great numbers on such early betas at 14dpo and 16dpo...though betas are a weird thing. A real life friend of mine had a beta of 900 and some at 17dpo and had a singleton...did FET last June and had a 200 and some beta at 17dpo and has identical twins on their way.

Baby...Yep, sounds like we have similar families. The drama just drives me crazy...and I dont want Zach around it. Unfortunately, I am now regretting my decision to have my brother be Zach's guardian if anything should happen to Bill and I. It's actually stressing me out now thinking about it all. My parents have been gone since we were teens...and my grandparents also passed away within 1 yr of my mom and adopting us...my aunts ultimately ended up with us (God Bless them)...so it is something that is naturally on my mind. Sorry the kids and DH arent helping you out more...that just plain sucks. Only 3 more days till your ultrasound! Woohoo! Cant wait to hear the good news!!

Victoria...How confusing and horrible. I have no idea. It's very crazy! I dont know if meds will help with the lining or not...you may want to ask Ghost. I am also shocked that you only have 1 RE in a 300 miles radius...that really stinks. Sounds like he is not very good and not worth your time anyways. I'm just sooo sorry. Big Hugs.

Cheri...OMG Cheri! I am sooooo very very sorry! WTF?! Did they give you any type of explanation at all? You know they say it only takes 1...there have been many BFP with just 1 embryo on this board. Heck, many clinics only transfer 1 in certain countries. I'm glad to hear you are going to give your little fighter a fighting chance...he or she will make it!!! Good Luck and Big Hugs to you. Please keep us posted.

Karian...Yay for a 5 day transfer and also so sorry about the OHSS symptoms. Good Luck tomorrow!! Let us know how everything goes and feel better soon! Such a hard decision on what to do with your extra embryos...I wish I could give you some great advice on that. Perhaps googling and finding some posts, maybe even on this board somewhere...you may find some answers to both the pos/negs to donating...that can somehow help you to make the best decision for you.

Karen...Woohooo it is finally transfer time for you tomorrow! I didnt see your PGD report here...I am hoping and praying that all is well! Let us know everything when you can.

Kynlee...Hoping and praying for your BFP beta on Tuesday and a BFP hpt tomorrow morning! Hang in there!

Anna...Yes, FET's are notorious for being late implanters. And, you have lines on hpts?! You are soooo pregnant girlie!!! Doesnt matter what test you use...a positive is a positive. A line...any line...is a line...no matter how faint. Evap lines have no color and are very very difficult to see and out of many many tests you may only see 1 evap line...like I did. False positives DO NOT HAPPEN. What you are seeing is a very early BFP! Congrats!! Your DH is going to have a wonderful birthday on beta day!

Sonya...You werent seriously comparing lines on 2 different hpts...especially with IC's...were you?! lol I know you know better! You crack me up. Everything is fine!!! Seriously though, I understand being worried...but relax because you are very very pregnant and before you know it...you'll be worrying about what pre-school to put your loved one in. lol I am going to need to take your advice and learn how to fake it for awhile...cause this has been much harder on me than I ever expected it would be. Sorry to hear that you've been through it too.

Oh Osi...I am so soooo sorry that you are dealing with a new baby on the same day as your BFN. I know exactly how you feel. I worry about next June when our new member of the family arrives...it is going to be sooo hard, if we dont get pregnant again and soon. I'm sorry that you have to wait to get started again...that is hard, too. Almost feels like we are in the same boat...as I am sick now with bronchitis and pretty depressed too. I cried pretty hard yesterday...when it all hit me like a ton of bricks. Big Hugs to you. You are not alone. God will bless you with a baby when the time is right...it is just one of those things that we dont understand right now...but soon will. Hang in there.

Kaylee...Have a great ultrasound tomorrow!!! Glad to hear that you are feeling wonderful and that pregnancy agrees with you.

Cass...Hi and Welcome! What a great story and thankyou for joining us and making alot of girls feel better here. Good Luck to you and stick around. Congrats!!!

Kelly...I hope you made lots of chocolate cookies to share...since I'm slacking over here and promised quite a few people I'd be sending them in the mail...and have yet to do so. lol Try not to worry about DH and needing to get pregnant on the first try. Yes, many people do, myself included, and since your doctor is feeling positive it will work for you...feel good...cause docs rarely ever say it will and give out false hope like that, honestly. As far as your DH...take it with a grain of salt. My DH said the same thing 6 cycles ago. He also says that every single cycle to this very day. One thing at a time....and right now your job is to find your PMA and let everything else go. K?

Nancy...Your one little frostie is going to work!!! PMA! Cant wait till January!

Well...it took 2.5 hours to finish reading and posting!! Geeesh! Of course, I was doing other things too...but not that much. lol

Thanks Karian! Good luck tomorrow!!!

Ester - Thanks girl! Good luck to you too!!! This sounds like the best cycle you have had and that's so awesome!! Praying you get your BFP in the next couple of weeks!! Besides, how could I leave my stim twin during our 2ww?

Tammy - Feel better soon! Glad that you decided to take care of you and avoid the negative people in your life!

BakersBaby - I hope you are feeling better. I certainly understand what it feels like to feel defeated during parts of this process, but hopefully the cookies dealt with some of that negative energy and got you back on track with the PMA. Try not to look too far ahead because it will overwhelm you. Wishing you best of luck on this cycle.

Rio - Its always nice to hear the stories of past miracles. It definitely made me feel better so thanks!! I did acupuncture during this cycle, but have never tried DHEA. I will do some more research on it.

Klinger - Thanks Amanda!! I appreciate all the support you have given throughout this cycle. It really means a lot. Good luck on your beta!

Karen - Good luck tomorrow!

Ester...Oh, okay...hope we dont hear from them tomorrow then! lol I love it when my clinic calls to tell me that they are 4-cell and how much fragmentation, etc on day 2. I would go nuts not knowing anything for 2 days. So funny how every clinic is just a little bit different from one another. Cant wait till Tuesday, then! lol

Gosh darn it!! I lost my long post!!! Grrrrrr...

Oh well, here I go again, but it will be shorter than the previous--I apologize, and hope I don't miss anyone.

Ester: Yippee!! 5 is awesome. So very happy for you! Keep up the PMA and I will send a prayer for you on Tuesday when your embibabies come home to momma!

Karin: How did everything go?

BakersBaby: I am so sorry that you and DH are having conflict. I think that it is normal with all the stress that IVF puts on you both. Believe me--I love DH dearly, but I find that we tend to fuss more as we get into a cycle...I think we need to relax and let things go more. That said, my advice to you would be to focus your PMA on this cycle now. This time will hopefully be all you need and you will be pregnant and planning for the arrival of your little bundle of joy. If not, then you can regroup, refocus and address your feelings, thoughts and ideas for another cycle with DH if that time comes. For now, try to take care of yourself and focus on this cycle.

Kynlee: Sorry that you aren’t feeling great--the meds can certainly put one in a funk! Not to mention the emotions and stress associated with the process. I am certainly “on your side” and going to send all the positive energy that I can your way. You read Cassmaster’s post? BFP is possible for you.

Annashope: How are you feeling this evening? Sorry for all this conflicting information between the FRER and the ICs. I have heard that FETs can take longer to show and you still are early--see Sonya’s wise post that most BFP’s appear at “13.7 days”. I am praying every night for you--it is so hard and you are at the most difficult part of Crazytown right now.

Cheri: I am so sorry that you are feeling devastated. Not one step in this process is ever easy and can be so draining emotionally and physically. I can’t tell you what to do, but just because you only have 1 embie doesn’t mean it is of low quality. And indeed, it really does only take one good embie to make a baby. Heck, many of the clinics/countries only allow some women to transfer one. And some women choose to only transfer one because of concerns/risks of multiples. I think you should certainly forge ahead--good luck however, regardless of your decision. We are all here for you!! :)

Amanda: Glad that you are on an upswing and that your spotting has stopped. Good luck with your 4th beta tomorrow and with your u/s Thursday (?) Before you know it you will be seeing your little bean (s?) on the screen!! I am so so happy for you!! :D

Tammy: Bronchitis? Are you kidding me? :( That is not what you need right now!! Please rest and take care of yourself. Going to your brother’s birthday party should have been the last thing on your list. Shall I send you some cookies? Oh, and I hear you on the “no time to wait.” I am a little bit older than you and feel that the time needs to be now. Hoping that you rest up and feel good going in to next cycle. THE cycle! :D

Riogirl: TEST OUT THAT TRIGGER!! LOL. Indeed--let’s get this crazytown POASing started! I think that was very strange for her to ask you about preggo symptoms so early, but I thinks it was because she is so hopeful for you! Especially her comment about the 4 probably all making it to blasts. I think someone already said it--its not going to be if you are preggo--but rather, with how many?

Cassmaster: Thank you so much for posting and sharing your story. It brought tears to my eyes reading your journey. Congratulations on you pregnancy--hoping all continues to go smoothly from here on out. Welcome!!

Leorira: Whew! So glad the evil AF witch has arrived!!! Yeah...now I can stop dancing for ya. My legs were getting tired. Hope all goes great tomorrow for your first SnS and you get this FET on the road...

Sonya: Hang in there...your u/s is coming before you know it!!! Relax and take care as best you can, pregnant momma. I can’t wait to hear results of u/s.

Lauren: Sorry that you aren’t getting BFPs on the HPTs, but I am still praying for a BFP for you. OHSS really suggests that you are pregnant. How are you feeling? OHSS symptoms getting better? Please, please, please take care of yourself.

Freckles: Thanks so much for your added experience. That is so awesome!! And from your siggy I see that you have an u/s tomorrow? Let us know how it goes!!

Osi: Oh dear. Sorry that you are feeling so down. Sorry about your SIL--that certainly makes things more difficult and raw. My best friend got pregnant this summer right when I was having my miscarriage. She is 40, newly married, and got pregnant the first month they tried. Sigh. I am so happy for her as I care dearly for her, but every new u/s picture, etc. reminds me of my loss. Our due dates would have been days apart. Hang in there--focus on the joys in your life--DH, etc. Don’t blame yourself for any of this....and then, for me, it always helps me to get past a BFN to then turn my attention to the next cycle. December is really not that far away. Are you going to make any changes? Think about acupuncture? I am very surprised at how relaxed it makes me feel...

Karenthescorpio: What is your update? Maybe I need to check the November thread...

AFM: Nothing new. Will have SnS first thing in the morning and we will see how these follies have been growing. Hoping for lots on my left! Please.

Cheri.....go and get your the ONE little embie! :D You worked hard for that little guy and he could be the one you've been waiting for!

Ester........the FANTASTIC FIVE :D :) :D :) Good job girlie!

Afm..... I have so much going on that I can barely keep up. Yesterday we ran alor of errands. A soccer game and we wenr to the movies last night to see Due Date. ( very funny) We had an open house today. Which means i cleaned all morning. We've been getting offers on tnis one and was making big decions. A birthday party for our nephew to go to iin the afternoon. Got home about 6pm. Oh.....and before all of that started our ED had ER this morning! i had to drive DH sample to the center. I was hoping to get a call from RE...but nothing. He told me on Friday that he would call me on Monday with a report. I am dying to know! I started PIO yesterday and my ASS is SO sore. I iced it before, So initially the shot wasn't that bad, but now it's pretty sore on both sides. I keep thinking.....how many more days do I have of this? I am immediately so tired and feel foggy. Seriously....I can't remember shit from one minute to the next. Even though I haven't heard anything, I am feeling good about what HOPEFULLY happened. I'm praying for a good number of healthy embies. It doesn't have to be a BIG number...just a GOOD one. :D

I am reding and trying to keep up. Sorry for the lack of personals. So ,ouch going on right now. Please know that I am thinking of u all!

Jennie- PIO gives you all the symptoms of pregnancy AND of an impending period. I usually get all bloated, constipated, naseous, head-achy, etc during the 2ww. Sorry!

Sonya - I'm a *huge* fan of POAS - but special circumstances for you, my pregnant friend.... STOP IT! You are only freaking yourself out. Your betas are fantastic. You'll see a heartbeat for sure on Wednseday!

Cheri- One is a bit depressing, but just remember that one is better than none. I know it's hard, but this could be your one! I've always had lots of embryos, and it hasn't helped me. Maybe your one is the lucky one!

Karin- Try not only ice on the sore bum, but also heat. The ice can make the oil harder to dissapate, but warmth can help thin it out so it spreads out smoothly.

Tammy - no one needs negative people in their lives - espeically not us...

I totally agree with whoever was telling the story of friends trying for a third - and just deciding to get pregnant and doing it (albeit with miscarriages - which is unfortunately something we IVFers ahve to deal with too).... My favorite lyrics from a song (that isn't about infertility, but whatever) no one said it was going to be easy, but no one said it had to be a war. I never thought that having kids would be easy - but I thought getting pregnant would be. I know lots of people who have had pregnancy losses and stillbirths, but I never thought I would be infertile AND deal with those things....

I've had a crazy crazy crazy 24 hours - Remember how yesterday I was so excited to post that AF had come? Well, I called my insurance and got the final paperwork faxed to me. I called the clinic to give them a heads up about SnS. Then I went back to the bathroom with a pad.... and nothing. No bleeding at all. I was devastated.

I freaked out all day that there was something else wrong and that I would not get to my FET anytime soon. My lining was about 18mm on my last u/s.... so how could just 30 min of bleeding be everything? I was really really upset....

I was awake all night puking. Turns out there is a stomach virus going around. Between puking and feeling sorry for myself and my lack of AF, I was pretty damn miserable...

I called in sick to work - mostly because of the exhastion from puking all night. I woke at noon - feeling better in my tummy ----- WITH A FULL FORCE FLOW! yeah baby! Super heavy cramping -and a need for super-plus tampons! HURRAH!

Y'all are the only people I can tell this story to.... no one else understands! I realize now that I sound crazy.... oh well!
