Mellow: Ugh...that is no good! I hope that you are keeping your distance from the stomach flu germ as best you can in your own house. :? Take care of yourself--good luck tomorrow with transfer!! Yeah!! You will be PUPO this time tomorrow! :D

Anna: So sorry the POASing is making things so stressful. Indeed stop if that will help. Try to focus and visualize the positive. It is early. Keep on spoiling yourself and treating yourself as pregnant. You are PUPO!! Move Beta if that will help as well.

Jenminks: See what I said to Annashope. Still too early to throw in the towel! Focus on the positive!!

Krisnjer: Sorry for this stress and scary symptoms. But as so many have said, it very often still has a great outcome. Try to keep up the PMA. Take care of yourself. I will be praying for good news for you tomorrow.

AFM: I am worrying about SnS tomorrow. I have been stimming for 7 days and tomorrow will be the first peek at my follies. I am trying not to worry and hoping that they are growing nicely--on my LEFT side. Don't know what I will do if the are not. Also, I am still having some bleeding from AF, which is VERY unusual for me. Hoping this doesn't indicate a problem with my lining. :( I will try to think positively and will know something in the morning. Hope to be joining you ladies in Crazytown soon.

Good Night!

BABY DUST TO YOU ALL!!

mellow- Good luck today at the retrieval. I know you wish it was the transfer but you will be PUPO before too much longer. Fingers crossed that they get tons of great looking eggs!! Hope you are feeling better today.

margi- Stay positive. I know its hard not to worry about how things are progressing but just remember they will do their best to make this cycle work out for you. Good luck at the appt and keep us posted.

jenmink- How are things going with you? Trust me when I say I know exactly how you are feeling. If this FET doesnt work out for us we will have to put things on hold for awhile as well. Financially we need to finish paying off the fresh cycle we had in June before we can borrow another 8K for the next fresh cycle. Dont let the age thing bother you. There are tons of ladies who still have perfectly health babies even after age 38! Just stay positive...we will both be getting great news this week!!!

AFM- Nothing too exciting. Lovenox shot hurt again last night so Im wondering how many it will take before I get used to the intense burning. I look like ive been beat up because of the blood thinners and have bruises on my stomach and both hips. Debating on grabbing a digital HPT to use at some point in the next few days....Ive found the digital makes things less crazy. Its yes or no...not well i think it could be if i hold it in the right light. Still nervous and scared beyond belief but such is life with infertility. I did have a crazy dream last night that Im hoping was a good sign. I had a dream we went to the doctor for an ultrasound and they were taking too long so I grabbed the wand and did the US myself and saw 2 babies. Then when they came in they found 3. Crazy I know, but whether its 1 or 3 I would be beyond excited. Just ready to start our family. DH and I will celebrate our 3 yr wedding anniversary on the 24th and it would be a great way to celebrate!

Hello everyone! I am new here and this is my first time to actually post. I have been reading for awhile....but finally decided it was time to post. I had my retrieval done last Thursday and scheduled for transfer tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11:30. This is my first round so it all has been a very interesting experience. We actually had ICSI done and on day 3 we had 10 embryos. These past few days have been the most nerve racking so far, but I'm sure waiting for the next 11-12 days is going to be by far more stressful. I'm going to try my hardest to refrain from POAS!

Good morning girls

Well I caved and POAS and its BFN all the way. I am now 11-12 days or rather 6-7dt 5dt and hope is quickly fading now. I stopped using the blue dye tests since I read a lot of bad stuff about them online but dollor store and FRER and both BFN's. Poor DH is still completely convinced that it worked. I guess I still have 2 days to beta so we will see. On top of it I have no symptoms---no sore boobs nothing, just a bit of a backache.

Mellow good luck with the ER today

I promise to do more personals later I have to run some errands

annashope- Its still early so dont be crazy. Keep a PMA!!! I have read a ton of posts and even tons of internet stuff that says a lot of people cant get a positive home test with a FET until after 8-9dpt. Like Ive said it takes longer for the hcg to accumulate in the body so I would give it a few more days. Did you decide whether you are rescheduling the beta for Thursday so its not on DH birthday? As for the lack of symptoms I dont think that necessary means anything either since everyone responds to pregnancy differently. Just try to keep your head up the next few days. We are all here for you though!

mellow-Best of luck at the retrieval today!!! Keep us posted on how things go. Anxious to hear the good results.

readyandwaiting- Welcome. Exciting that you get to transfer tomorrow and join us in the dreaded 2ww. Let me tell you that it drives you absolutely crazy. As nerve racking as waiting for the retrieval report, and then the transfer date is....the 2ww is even worse. Will you have any restrictions after the transfer? Good luck to you and keep us posted.

AFM- How long were you all advised to refrain from sex? I know its kind of a personal question but I keep debating. We were advised 1 wk after transfer, but I keep telling myself we shouldnt until we get a positive test. Every other time I have caved and had sex before we get a positive test.Suggestions?

Anna: So sorry that you aren't getting the BFP yet on the HPTs but there is still time and hope. Are you going to get beta on Wednesday? or Thursday? Remember, it is definitely too early to have preggo symptoms--especially with FET.

blair: That sex question is one that has been tossed around a bunch. About a month or so ago, Sonya started a thread asking about it. It seems that every clinic/RE gives different recommendations. Some women are told no sex for 1 week after transfer, some until positive beta, others--until heartbeat is heard. I think that the upshot of the discussion, including input from Ghost, was that sex (and female orgasm) should definitely be avoided initially after transfer because the uterine contractions could 1) injure an ovary, or 2) possibly interfere with implantation. After that--opinions diverge. The one thing in common was decided--definitely no chandelier-swinging sex for early pregnancy!

Thanks for all your comments on my question. I think this time we are at least going to try and wait until we get a positive. I dont want to risk anything and it should hopefully only be a few more days. Friday seems sooooo far away though. Wanting to test is starting to drive me crazy. I went out and got some digital tests, but then read online they arent as accurate for early testing, so now Im trying to figure out how long I can delay testing and still get a positive. Today is 7dp6dt so it should be starting to show in the next few days. Ahhhh I think Im finally a member of crazytown.

Blair - you have been a member for a while now, you are just now accepting it ;) I got some tests too and am terrified! My RE said two weeks but I aske what if it happens in my dreams (which it did both past cycles) she said not to worry and no INTENTIONAL orgasms!

annas- -I answered you on Fall Cycle, it could very well be early or wrong

ready - welcome - how many will you put back in?

krisnjer - you doing ok hun?

SD - I hear yya on the 2 yo jumping on you while on bedrest, it has been so hard not to pick him up! How are you doing?

mellow - sorry you got a bug :( praying for a great ER, lots of mature eggs, let us know the fert report soon to! Praying for great embies!!!!!!!!!!! A house full of people puking - that's a visual ;)

I POASed today at 9DPO and got no line, no faint line, no nothing so I know the trigger is completely gone from my system. But for those POAS experts, I felt so down looking at that negative test even though I knew it was going to be negative! Made me want to cry. I keep thinking if I can figure out a way to afford another cycle which is crazy cause this one is not over by a long shot. My hormones are driving me insane and because of my beta hell and ectopic I almost expect bad news now. I was so dubm and happy my last cycle only get crushed by beta hell and ectopic. Now I am scared. With my son I had a 67 beta at 13DPO. I am afraid to keep peeing and seeing negatives. Argh!
I am throwing a pity party here but none of you are invited

Hi everyone. Gonna do my update and then read what I have missed. So been an exciting morning. On the way to transfer my RE himself called to say our embies are such great quality he recommends that we only transfer one. I told him no we wanted two and he said ok we will discuss more when you arrive. So we get there and the embryologist gives us the scoop. We have 4 pgd approved embies. All great quality and two are 6AA (best possible). She called it textbook perfect. I was shocked and happy of course. She said you have an extremely high chance of implantation plus your history of implantation is 100 percent. How she explained it was this...we aren't increasing our overall pregnancy possibility with these grade of embies by transferring two. Just the rate of twins. Which she said would be like 75percent with these embies. So after much agonizing we decided on one. I just accepted I wanted to do all I could to bring home a healthy baby. After getting twins the last time with slightly less quality pgd embies I had this gut feeling we would be ok with one. After dealing with the loss of my twins I just can't put myself or the babies at risk. I know my cervix can handle it. Didnt think I could mentally when I sat there in the real moment being honest with myself. So now I have one perfect little embie making him/herself at home! I feel so happy and positive. Went to acupuncturist right after. Now just resting and catching up. Going to watch a movie and dream of my little buddy settling in.

Big hug to all. Will do personals soon as I catch up!!!!!!

Karenscorpio-- great great news about your embies!!

To all the ladies with POAS fever-- hope all goes well for your betas!!

Welcome to all the new posters!

AFM-- it has been a long weekend. And we were able to prepare ourselves for the worst. So today on the u/s our little bean was gone. Dr even told us today that he could see a little heartbeat when he checked on Saturday. So he was hoping it would pull through. I think we both did our grieving on Sat so today I am just really really tired. DH and I have not really talked about it all yet but we are talking about trying again. I hated to post such crappy news while so many people are in the 2ww.

I wish all of you sticky baby dust and granted dreams!!
