Good morning girls

Well I caved and POAS and its BFN all the way. I am now 11-12 days or rather 6-7dt 5dt and hope is quickly fading now. I stopped using the blue dye tests since I read a lot of bad stuff about them online but dollor store and FRER and both BFN's. Poor DH is still completely convinced that it worked. I guess I still have 2 days to beta so we will see. On top of it I have no symptoms---no sore boobs nothing, just a bit of a backache.

I have to run out and run errands but I promise to do personals later. Thank you girls for all your support

Karin1: Like Leorira said--use heat afterwards and massage the area to spread the stuff around.

Karenthescorpio: Yippeee!!! Go get those embibabies all snuggled in!! And rest it up!

Cheri and Karian: Good luck today with ET as well. PUPO later today!! Take it easy, but let us know how you are feeling as soon as you feel up to it.

Lauren: Hoping and praying you get good news today. Glad to hear your ovaries are improved and no increase in fluid.

Annashope: I said it on the November thread too--please try to hold onto faith that this can still work. I know it is so difficult with those d*!#% pee sticks not telling you what you want, but there is still time.

AFM: Sigh. Not the great SnS report that I would have liked. I responded much better last cycle and that ended in a BFN. Sigh. I will try to remain positive--but it isn't easy. I have 1-20mm-the remaining cyst; 1-18mm, 1-16 and 1-15. She didn't measure the ones less than 15, but I know there were about 6 of them in the 10-14 range. My E2 level was 1165 (which I don't know how to interpret) so she says RE says one more day (tonight) of stim, then trigger tomorrow night and IUI on Thursday (11/18) a.m. I will go for acupuncture Wednesday and Thursday after the IUI.

annashope - I'm not giving up hope yet! I'm remembering cassmaster's post and it is still very possible that you're going to have a great beta. So I'm still hoping for you!

margi - Sorry your SnS wasn't what you were hoping for but it sounds like you've got some good follies that still have time to mature with this last night of stims and the trigger. Glad you've got your acupuncture all ready for pre and post-IUI!

AFM, 4th beta came in at 11603 (doubling time 50 hours.) Once again, really happy with that number and now we just wait until Thursday at 9am for the u/s. Is it Thursday yet?? :D

Lauren - here fingers crossed for a BFP!!!! Glad your ovaries are doing better! Spotting means nothing, how many dpo are you today?

Cheri - glad your pity party is over, isn't it funny how many of those we throw during IVF? Did you get your little baby yet? You got one fighter! Yes there are lots of great stories here with one embie!

Karian - good luck with ET today.

Tammy - thank you for your diligence in answering all of our 500 questions! You rock! So sorry you are sick. I understand you not wanting to wait anymore. Interesting about your friend and POAS not working for her. I love your PMA and thank you for keeping me grounded! I am glad you decided not to go and take care of yourself instead, I cracked up at you returning the gift! I am sorry you have to deal with so much family drama while going through IVF. Also sorry people did not comment on your BFN and did on your Brother's results, people sometimes don't know what to say so they fault for not saying anything, that is really sad but it was like that when my dad died, people I was close with ignored me, I asked why they said "oh I just did not know what to say" geeesh tahnks a lot. So I am sorry that people are not more supportive. I hope you get some antibiotics for your bronchitis, we need you very healthy for this next cycle and we will be preggers together!!!

Sonya- Tammy is right keep away from HPTs!!!

margi - oh I understand about your BFF and getting pregnant so easily, ouch, that stings. Praying for lots of follies! I hope you are right about the RE, she could also have gotten confused and thought I transfered earlier, she can be a little space cadet even though she is awesome! Thank you for all your PMA! I just saw your result, it only takes one hun! Did I read right you have a cyst and about 9 follies? 9 follies is good! I am keeping my fingers crossed for you, my #2 cycle I only had 6 follies. I know we always want lots but 9 is good!

moorebaby- transfer 4 ;) alright maybe just 3! Hoping for great embryos tomorrow!

Karin1 - yeay for ED having ER, did you get fert report yet? You will be PUPO!!! I am in a progesterone fog too! Maybe ask for endometrin? I gave up on the ASS pain altogether, my body stresses too much, I can't walk and get lumps. I feel so much better with inserts, no stress!

Karenscorpio - can't wait to find out how ET went, day 6 right? 2 blasts?

Leorira - YEAY for super duper tampons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

klinger - are you still walking around naked covered in oatmeal? Awesome beta!!! Can't wait for the US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kynlee - one more night till beta!!!!!!!!

annas- did you POAS again? oh I just saw you did, you could still get a BFP, I had BFN even with a positive beta, it happens, pls keep the PMA

I POASed today at 9DPO and got no line, no faint line, no nothing so I know the trigger is completely gone from my system. But for those POAS experts, I felt so down looking at that negative test even though I knew it was going to be negative! Made me want to cry. I keep thinking if I can figure out a way to afford another cycle which is crazy cause this one is not over by a long shot. My hormones are driving me insane and because of my beta hell and ectopic I almost expect bad news now. I was so dubm and happy my last cycle only get crushed by beta hell and ectopic. Now I am scared. With my son I had a 67 beta at 13DPO. I am afraid to keep peeing and seeing negatives. Argh!
I am throwing a pity party here but none of you are invited ;)

Anna, you still have a couple days! If I remember correctly, I think Kaylie didn't get her BFP until the day before either. Here's hoping for a late implant! I was still peeing negative on a 20 mil test strip the day AFTER my beta was 32. Your blood gets the HCG way before the urine. Don't give up until you definitely see AF. I had literally zero symptoms besides cramping, which felt like it could have been AF. I had to pee on a piece of sh-- strip every morning and night leading up to my beta, but I found out there IS a reason they tell us not to! I don't know much about FET and that delay, but it sounds like you have that additional explanation going for you as well. Until you see AF, it is far from over!

Klinger, glad to hear your beta is where it should be. I know that spotting is worrisome. You are almost to Wednesday!

Lauren, I had some brown spotting at 6w after a late implant. My doc thinks it was either implantation blood finally making its way out or some old blood from my cervix moving around. As you are still waiting for your beta, there is a good chance you have implantation bleeding, and many would be jealous!

Rio, there will be no pity parties allowed until 14DPO! Even compared to your son's beta at 13DPO, you are WAY too early at 9DPO.

Good luck to all the day's transfers! Take it SUPER easy!

Cassmaster - thank you, you rock! I completely spaced out on the very obvious fact that a 30 blood beta is not a 30 pee beta :) Duuuuuhhhhh! So even though you have a good beta, the pee might not show it, which HAS happened to me! I saw you have male fertility also. Congrats on getting pregnant on your first IVF, that is awesome and seeing that HB at 6w1d!!!

Hi everyone. Gonna do my update and then read what I have missed. So been an exciting morning. On the way to transfer my RE himself called to say our embies are such great quality he recommends that we only transfer one. I told him no we wanted two and he said ok we will discuss more when you arrive. So we get there and the embryologist gives us the scoop. We have 4 pgd approved embies. All great quality and two are 6AA (best possible). She called it textbook perfect. I was shocked and happy of course. She said you have an extremely high chance of implantation plus your history of implantation is 100 percent. How she explained it was this...we aren't increasing our overall pregnancy possibility with these grade of embies by transferring two. Just the rate of twins. Which she said would be like 75percent with these embies. So after much agonizing we decided on one. I just accepted I wanted to do all I could to bring home a healthy baby. After getting twins the last time with slightly less quality pgd embies I had this gut feeling we would be ok with one. After dealing with the loss of my twins I just can't put myself or the babies at risk. I know my cervix can handle it. Didnt think I could mentally when I sat there in the real moment being honest with myself. So now I have one perfect little embie making him/herself at home! I feel so happy and positive. Went to acupuncturist right after. Now just resting and catching up. Going to watch a movie and dream of my little buddy settling in.

Big hug to all. Will do personals soon as I catch up!!!!!!

Gulp. I did it. I had to. I got one last beta. I know this one will be the most important. I'm not sure how high it should be, but it's gotta be high considering it was nearly 20,000 last Monday. If it took three days to double then it would be around 40,000 on Thursday... then another four days to double means it should be. ah gawd... somewhere around 70,000? Is that even possible? Needless to say I am freaked out but it doesn't change anything - knowing doesn't change it, right?

I read two amazing studies (links on my blog FYI) about early betas and their significance. VERY promising and interesting. One even said that if your hCG was above 600 mIU at 19dpo you were most likely gonna have twins...

I have major butterflies. If the number is low then I can be prepared, although it will make the next day crawl by. If it's high, I can just enjoy and relax once again. This has been one freaking long five weeks! Might have the results in about 45 minutes - if it's not at the clinic I'll have to wait and see tomorrow morning. Ugh.

Lauren...I am sooo very very sorry. I have been checking this board all day waiting for your results. I was sooo hopeful for you.

Lou...Great Big Hugs to you.

Gi...Good Luck! I secretly hope you get a baby on your birthday...would be way too cool.

Sonya...Keep in mind that at this point in your pregnancy...betas do not go up as fast. They dont double or even go up by 66% from what I understand. It wouldnt surprise me at all if it is only 30,000 at this point...which is what is expected, the further along you get. Cant wait to hear your numbers.

Cheri...Hope all went well today. Im praying so hard for you girlie.

Rio...Stay out of crazytown...you know darn well that it is wayyyy too early! You will be pregnant, the question is, with how many. You will probably have a positive on Wednesday morning, but maybe not till Thursday.

Karen...I am soooo thrilled for you and your little embies! I completely agree with you on putting 1 back and not taking a chance on the health of your baby and yourself. You did the right thing. I can not wait till your beta now. Do you plan to poas?

Anna...Hang in there! Poas can be so confusing sometimes. Hoping and praying for good news!

Margi...Praying that everything works out. Try to keep up the PMA...things can change for the better soooo fast. Your E2 is about what mine would be with 1 more day to stim...seems fine to me (for us).

AFM: Still waiting on AF. It always comes 5 days after stopping PIO...so should be here tomorrow. I am still hoping for tonight though. Impatient much? lol I somehow missed the call from my doctor last Friday night...and he left me a message to call him Tuesday mid-morning to discuss this cycle (he was out of town all weekend). So looking forward to tomorrow morning and hearing what he was to say. I basically chose my protocol this last cycle for myself and he agreed with my idea...but I think I will hang up my doctor hat...and hear what he has to say this time (before voicing my opinion anyways, lol)...since apparantly my idea didnt work. Although I did stim for 9 days this last time...rather than 6.5 days when I had a BFP in Sept. You would think that stimming longer would be better...but my embryos looked horrible in comparison this last time. So maybe I personally "need" to stim faster? What would you do, if given the choice? If the doc doesnt have any other ideas other than to do what we did in Sept when I had a BFP (pretty embryos) but an early miscarriage (stimmed 6.5 days)...or do the longer 9 day stim...get bad embryos and a BFN. In theory...the longer the stim the better. I am just hoping the doc has a great plan for me instead that isnt either one of these protocols. :?
