Lauren...Glad that you got some straight answers. I think that it is pretty common to not be able to get to one of the ovaries and the eggs...it is very difficult sometimes for RE's to get in there without hurting us. I think that test sounds like a great idea...the more the info the better.

Rio, I'm dying with anticipation for you over here!!! Praying you get to start beta hell!

Lauren, AMH was part of my IVF work-up. My FSH had always been relatively normal 5-6. Then I got a couple randomly high ones, and we realized it was because the silly nurse ordered the test while I was on Lupron. Were you on (or just coming off Lupron) during your high FSH test? That will really throw it off. Anyways, my AMH came back totally normal so they disregarded the random FSH's. I think if you are usually normal with FSH, it is the meds throwing the one read off. My doctor said it was impossible to naturally go from a 5 FSH to a 20 in the span of a couple months like I did. Clearly, it was med-related. And the AMH confirmed my reserve was typical of my age. I didn't read what stim you were on for this past round? Was it just Follistim? I was on Follistim for my last 3 failed IUIs. My successful IVF was only Menopur. So if Menopur is the addition for you, my history makes me think good things for you...

Krys...Your transfer is coming up soooo soon! We will be PUPO together. Do you have lining issues to worry about or is it just a normal precaution on Monday?

Kelly...How did your lupron shot go? I've got lupron headaches already. Didnt have them last cycle...but did the cycles before. Ugh.
I started stims again today, too. Blah.

Tiff...How did your hysterscopy go...let us know when you can.

Cass...I agree with you...menopur was a terrific add for me, too (even though I did miscarry).

AFM: If my lining isnt really thin now...I'd be shocked. AF is as bad or worse than my miscarriages were...no kidding. My lining was an 8 yesterday, which is good for me...but I'd bet it is a 5 or 6 now. I'm excited about this...cause I always have a lining of 15-16 by the time I trigger and even though the doc says it is perfectly fine....I wonder from the things I read on here. So I like the idea that it may not be as thick and a pregnancy may work this time. It also seems as though perhaps alot of stuff came out from my miscarriage in Sept...so perhaps that is why I did not get pregnant this last time...especially since we did this cycle only 19 days after my miscarriage. I asked the doc about it and he said...no 19 days later didnt make a difference since all my E2 numbers, lining, etc were good. But, I wonder. Even the u/s tech at my baseline yesterday said that there is sooo much blood and stuff in there that she could barely find what she needed to find. So...I feel like this is a great sign of things to come. I even showed DH (yep, we are gross and close) and he was like OMG! lol

Tammy - nothing about draining the fluid in fact he asked can you manage this for a bit of time, I said yes. I get so nervous about an infection or so weird thing. too funny about showing DH! SOunds like everything is looking great!

Lauren - oh man! My RE said she would go through the belly to get those other eggs if she had to. Certainly schedule a face to face. I am pissed they were not really upfront with you about everything. Get as many questions as you can in paper so you don't forget to ask!

kynlee - were you able to eat, I find it hard to eat cause I am so fully bloated! Did you drink tons of gatorade even when you felt you could not? Did you eat a lot of protein? 3 weeks ouch! DHEA is supposed to regulate your hormones there is a new thread here about it. I know that when I went on it for 3 mos all my results were better, all hormone levels everything. I had 14 follicles as opposed to 6, 5 months before, more eggs, and the quality was still great. I really think it helped me get more antral follicles recruited for the IVF.

amanda - how exciting and I cannot wait for the two hearbeats, your DH is so adorable!

Sonya - loved that description!!!!

Karian - gorgeous!!! Go POAS now and test out the trigger for us! then if you see any faint line you will know itis not from trigger! Don't worry about the embies you have in there, they always transfer the best ones and the best place for them to grow is inside of you!

Karin- yeah for two gorgeous blasts!!! Isn't transfer day so emotional? My DH was there too. He kept rubbing the top of my head during transfer. He knew I was tearing up while laying there spread eagle. I kept thinking of my twins. Just enjoy the next week and a half! Dec 1 will come quick!

Tammy.S- I'm glad we will be cycling together.
It makes it easier to know you're not all alone.
I have never had lining problems before but my
lining has never been so thin as it is now.
I had a day two u/s just to make sure I had passed
everything from my m/c and it was down to 1.7
which the nurse said was okay because they wanted me
cleared right out. I'm a little nervous that it wont
thicken on time but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
My last day 13 my lining was 7.8 and they were happy
with thAt they started me on my progesterone shots and
did the fet on day 16.
I am looking forward to getting some answers on Monday..

Cass-Thanks. I am hoping it comes back and things look positive. I was on both Follistim and Menopur previously they will just increase my dosage. I wont find out until dec 6...my fsh was taken when I was having really irregular periods and also I had cyst issues going on so Im not sure. I wonder if the sperm they pick could be the reason they dont fertilize..or it is my eggs? worries me

Afm......just laying on the couch wondering when I can POAS? I know....it's early and I am not nervous or anxious yet. I just
want a plan. I did't have a trigger, so I wouldn't have to worry about that.what about Thursday? Then....I think that if it were bfn that I would be sad and ruin my day. Maybe Friday? I also have other questions.....pineapple? How much and
when? I told DH about this and he was like.....really? Come on? I said....I would eat dirt of I thought it would help. any other advice on helping these babies stick? Old wives tale or otherwise.

Karin...DH blends me a large glass of pineapple slushie to drink every night. We add a banana or yogurt to switch it up. Make sure to get the hard middle part in there cause it contains bromelain which is the part that contains the good stuff for implantation. We start the night of our 3-day transfer and continue for a week which would be 10dpo. To answer your question...I have a good memory, but I also write everything down at every single visit...and then compare notes and try to research and figure out everything I can. You can poas on Thursday at 11dpo or wait till Friday...but remember you may not get your BFP till 14dpo...so dont let yourself lose pma by poas. After everything you have been through...I'm feeling twins for you!

Oh by the way...I hear eating eggPLANT helps too! (nope, cant take credit for that one...it was someone from the spring cycle group). lol

Lauren...I wonder if the cysts and the time of month is was for you (since they were irregular) had everything to do with one high FSH. Did you ask them about that...if not add that to your wtf list. My guess would be that it really isnt your eggs with only 1 messed up FSH. I have a really good feeling about this cycle...things just feel right this time.
