ugh. thisis the 2nd time this week that i've posted a longer message to you ladies, mostly talking to those who've gotten bad news.. and the post is lost. frig.

jenmink.. i'm so very sorry for your loss. it must be so disappointing. if it's in your heart to not give up yet, i encourage you to believe in miracles. ...or maybe i should say 'keep' believing in miracles. after my first pregnancy loss my mom gave me a card that said:
"hope abides quietly in our souls, whispering comfort when we need it most'..

please don't lose hope that you can be a mom, or that you'll be ok if you chose not to continue this path. you are a strong woman to go through what you have so far. this is a devastating time and i'm sending a big hug to you right now.

RIO. congratulations! i'm so heartfelt-happy for you.. i hope to join the ranks of '2nd time success' with you early next year.. thank you for all the help and support you've given me on the side here with DHEA/protocals.youre a special lady:)

jenmink- I am so sorry and dont even know what to say. Just know that we are here if you need anything at all. I got up early to check for your post and was crushed when I read it. Im so sorry.

SDtrying- Stay positive. Its definitely still early and you could end up with a BFP in the next few days. Love your picture- you look so beautiful!

margi- How are you feeling? Stil resting I hope and not doing too much. Good luck and I cant wait to hear when you start POAS.

blissful- I wish I could afford to do acupuncture once a week. I found it very relaxing and helpful with this cycle. Much more so than the massages I had gotten before previous cycles. Whenever people who arent married/trying give the news they are expecting you always want to punch them (hopefully you didnt)...but just know it will work out soon enough. Good luck and cant wait to hear good news.

rio- Congrats on such a great number!!!! How exciting...even more so since you didnt have to wait until monday. My beta yesterday was 11 days past the transfer so hoping those are good numbers. Still nervous and anxious about mondays beta just to make sure things are going the way they should.

AFM- Asked the RE yesterday about the numb spot on my leg from the IM shots and he said it wasnt normal. He didnt seem worried and said I should just try to avoid that side - impossible considering I have to switch nightly just to avoid monster sized knots. I guess Ill just have to deal with the numb spot though. Thanks to all of you for your congratulations...it still hasnt sunk in and I dont think it will until we see the first ultrasound. I really appreciate all the support you all have provided and wouldnt have been able to do it without you.

SDtrying- hang in there. I know it is hard when those frickin sticks aren't telling you what you want to see. I tell people that my last pregnancy (which was healthy and twins) only gave me a beta of 71 at 8dp6dt. So had I only had oe baby then I doubt a HPT would have picked it up until the night before or day of beta. With the twins it was super faint the day before. And I mean super faint. This is why I am so scared to poas. I need good karma and want to stay pregnant feeling/in my head as long as I can! I was vey close to poas this AM but I came to my senses. I don't really feel any signs at all. It is 5dp6dt. Other than the slight cramping the day after transfer, nothing really. Boobs feel full but that is the PIO shot. Sending you a big hug.

To all of you~~

I don't have the strength to post personals today, but I have read all of your messages to me and I want you to all know how much I appreciate your words of support and love. This time I thought was "IT". This cycle went like clock work and everything fell into place. Words cannot express my disappointment in this outcome but I am not one to fall to pieces (at least not for a long time! LOL)

We only have two frozen tots left but due to my age I think we are going to go straight into a fresh cycle next Spring. Although the cost is a lot more I think it's going to be my final chance to harvest a good group of embies. I am going to try to de-stress my life a bit, get healthy. I hope these changes will help those little embies stick next time around. Whatever happens it's in God's time and I truely believe we are made to go through things for a reason, although we may not understand at the time why.

I cannot express my appreciation for all the support you wonderful group of ladies have given me. I am worried about joining a May/June Cycle group because I might not get this fabulous of a group!! I will be checking in periodically to check on you BFP's and cheering for you from the sidelines. Come July I am going to be going crazy to hear about those beatiful new babies!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D Enjoy these pregnancies everyday and soak it up. You are all truely blessed! :P

I am going to go shopping today and do some damage to my credit cards, that always makes me feel better! Next week I am going to pour my focus into my new job! DH is having a harder time accepting this I think so I am going to have to find a way to lift him when I am so weak. Pray for me there! LOL

Love to you all,
Jennifer

Jen- even though I just joined this group yesterday you have been in the center of my prayers and meditations. I have been lifting you and your hubby up constantly. I too have been thinking about going with a fresh cycle if this one doesn't work out even though I have 4 frosties (2 day embies). I guess the way I see it is that even if one of the four remaining led to a baby, I still want another child so I might as well improve my odds in this cycle and store some younger embies. It's a huge financial decision, of course, but one I am leaning toward. Part of the motivation is wanting to be a donor as well if we are blessed with success as we progress. Also, we are much healthier now than In the first cycle. If that is the path we find ourselves on Tuesday I am also going to take 3 months off to really prepare my body and mind. This plan B was inspired by a book I read called "The Tao of Fertility." I strongly recommend it to you as you prepare for the Spring. Have as much fun as you can doing damage to those credit cards today. You deserve that and so much more.

Blair- I do feel very fortunate to be able to go to acupuncture once a week... I never really added up the expense of it until I was thinking about your post this morning. I could have a really nice Mommy car for what I spend monthly in holistic medicine and massage. Holy cow! I have cut back on mani pedis though and now get my hair cut at the walk-in place to try to compensate for the expense. :o

SD- stay positive! And do share with us newbies how the heck you post a pic if you have a sec. Your wedding pic is beautiful!

My heart breaks for you hun, I am so sorry. I admire you already having a plan and I think you are right in doing a fresh cycle first. Look up on DHEA and you can find some good info. Did you do an antagonist protocol? Are you staying with the same RE? I wish you all the best and please keep us posted on your super duper BFP next time!

SD- hang in there! Love your picture!

Mellow - you should be PUPO now! How many?

Blair - yes, I am freaking out about Monday's beta too! Prayers that our numbers will increase at the good rate!

Karen scorpio - are you still not POAS? My goodness!

Sorry to make this quick, I feel horrible, everything hurts and this OHSS is kicking my ass big time :( take care girls!

Two perfect textbook blastocysts...according to the RE and embryologist this morning. :) They are now happily where they belong.

They told me they were glad I insisted on waiting till day 5...there would have been no way to know on day 3 which ones were looking their best. Yay for my stubbornness.

Laying in bed now....for 3 days. No showers even. I should be ripe! Haha.

Rio~ I'm sorry your still hurting. Keep off your feet, and load up on protein....sickening amounts of it. It will help a little.

mellow- Congrats on being PUPO!!!! And I know exactly how you feel about the no showers. DH wouldnt let me out of bed for 3 days unless I was making a trip to the bathroom, and he probably even wanted to limit those. Luckily since you are just lounging in bed for 3 days you shouldnt be too stinky. I will say that my hair would have probably stayed in a ponytail without the holder though since I went from Monday morning to Thursday evening without showering. Your blasts look great- Congrats. Good luck and keep us posted.

rio- fingers crossed we both get great numbers. What time do you go in Monday? I think my appt is at 9:45 but hopefully i wont have to have a breakdown to get the results this time.

blissful- so much for the nice mommy car....its the acupuncture and massages that help relax us and get us pregnant. I always say- whatever works.

jenmink- Hope you didnt break the bank with your shopping today. Im sure it was a nice stress reliever though. No matter what we are here to cheer you on so dont forget to check in with us.

Hi Guys I talked to my IM today and 11 embies are still doing well!!
She also told me the story of how she lost her last chance at a biological child. Her last IVF cycle she responded well do stimm meds but never built up much of a lining. An RE who was not her regular doc checked her a few days before trigger and said her lining was at 5-6 and said he would advise against her attempting to carry for this cycle and for them to freeze and find a carrier. But said he couldn't officially take a position since she wasn't his patient and that she would have to get the final word from her own RE. A few days later her RE said her lining was measuring low it may be because of some scarring and they just couldn't see it well. She said they could proceed. On the way out of the consult they ran into the doc that said they probably shouldn't and he looked shocked and amazed when they said they were going forward.Well they had 4 good 5 day blasts and because of her age 44 they put in all 4 and it didn't work. Long story short, They were not able to produce anymore eggs and that was the end of their attempts at a bio child and have since had to resort to egg donor. I was crushed to hear this. I thought it just didn't work cause she was older but I didn't know they had a chance to save those blast and then I could be carrying them instead of DE and husbands embies. She has come to grips with it and she is okay now with they way things are going but they are not telling anyone they are using DE.

It really is so important to advocate for yourself, It was also a little more pressure to get this on the first try I would hate to let them down when they've been through so much already

Lady- you are a saint! Your story is inspiring. Thanks on behalf of all struggling future mommies. Also thanks for the reminder on advocacy. I'm going through this process with the help of a fertility specialist who is in my town. She does all my US and bloodwork and sends a report to my clinic but is not an RE. The day I before I triggered I started estrace early because my lining was measuring thin (7) According to the IVF coordinator "it's nothing to worry about because your Dr. always measures thin.". I am sure that is true and I'm fine...but during the 2ww I have wished I had demanded another US prior to defrosting. Good reminders that we have to use our voices. That's one of the reasons I am glad we have a resource like this site and real life angels like you.

Mellow- those blasts are marvelous darling. Congrats!!!
