Sonja- so happy to hear your u/s went well!

AFM- Beta tomorrow morning. I'm not POAS....DH is not supportive of that and I figure at this point I might as well just wait. I've had some cramping, my boobs are so sore and I have heartburn but...these can all be side effects from the meds and what I've eaten....

Crossing my fingers and toes to post a POSITIVE on the board tomorrow.

Sending hugs and postiive thoughts to everyone.
Hoping those are strong pregnancy symptoms!! Best of luck tomorrow!

Leiorra......we all can relate to how you're feeling. I feel bad that young ladies have to deal with this at such an early age. I was never that mature at your age. I couldn't have done it. This whole process really takes a toll on you. We get the adoption thing a lot. Sure....we would....but it's not that easy. People seem to think it is. They always say....just adopt....like u just go put in your order or something. Irritates me every tome i hear it. The good thing is that u r young and u do have more time than the rest of us, not that it makes it any easier. I'm sure in many ways that it makes it more frustrating. It will happen for u. Hang in there and try not to get discouraged. Maybe get another opinion. Just a thought.

Ester.......what a blessing that grading papers can be...huh? Any distraction will do.

Margi......I will be POAS too! Not sure when yet.

Afm......just takin it easy still. I did take a shower and move around a little....nothing major. It felt good to be up. My back is sore from laying down. I didn't hear anything about the one that was left. I am assuming that it arrested. Makes me so nervous to not have anything to freeze. I wonder how that can happen on an ED cycle. We're not worried a bout it too much since i've got 2 good ones brewing. Doing lots of prayer and visualization. Feeling pretty good about it all so far.

Karin1- I only had one transferred bc the last time I had two I got twins. And I lost them due to incompetent cervix (which is now fixed). It was a grade 6AA (textbook perfect). And we did PGD so we know it is chromosomally normal! Woowhoo! :)

Our Families do not know we are doing iVF but My MIL keeps telling me I should look into IVF she says that is what My siser in law did... kynlee - no OHSS for you next time! HAve you had the cahcne to look at DHEA yet? Great your SIL has 3 kids with IVF! Any twins?

Margi - thanks for checking, still yucky :( Did you POAS yet? It might be less stressful without having to throw a big dinner while you are in crazytown! Thank you so much for your kind words, you are so right!

HEather - sorry waiting is hard :(

karin - don't worry hun, I never have any to freeze either but the ones inside you are what matters!!!

jennies - you are strong for not POAS, I did it this cycle but not the previous 2. Fingers crossed for BFP! Please let us know asap!

Karen - we knew you were the sure thing! COngrats again!

Leorira - I think we understand how hard this is better than anyone else, I know you are sick of hearing this but you do have age on your side and you have gotten pregnant, so those are good, plus how lucky are you and DH to have found each other young!! I had to marry a jerk only to find DH at 35! I wish you the best hun!

moore - glad you are keeping busy! Keep the PMA!

Tammy - hope your dinner went well!

AFM - still battling this mess of OHSS. I fluctuate between 7 to 10 lbs gained. It has been creeping up and if it keeps creeping up much more I won't be able to breathe well and might opt to get drained, how big of a deal is it to get drained? I know they want me to wait it out and I am really trying. DH has been awesome picking up my slack. I am praying really hard for a healthy beta tomorrow, I am so scared because of last time!Image

Rio the OHSS sucks horribly and perhaps you should get it drained - give yourself some relief! I think we all know what it's like to be scared (at least I do!!!). take it a day at a time and keep your positive attitude. Big hugs and hoping for a GIANT beta!

Jennie: Good luck tomorrow!! I am sending TONS of babydust your way!! :D :D

Rio: I can't lie...getting drained is no walk in the park, but compared with everything we (you've) been through, and compared to the pain and pressure you are feeling now--it might be worth it. They only do it if they feel there is enough fluid to drain, and they numb you pretty good. It is uncomfortable, but it doesn't last put a few minutes and then you have some immediate relief. GOOD LUCK tomorrow with beta. I know you are gonna show a great rise!! And let them check you out when you are there...see if they think you'd benefit from being drained. I am sending a special "rising beta" prayer for you tonight as I go to sleep.

Me? POAS? But of course...I think I may POAS tomorrow to see if trigger is still hanging in my system. It'll give me something to do with all this pent up energy.

Heather - I'm sorry it's taking so long for AF! It took me 8.5 weeks post D&C - and that was with Provera. I really hope it come soon for you! crazy how we either really really want AF or really really don't!

Thanks for all the kind words on adoption. People really think it's as simple as walking in to the hospital and ordering an unwanted baby....

Karen - yeay for the BFP! As for 1 vs 2 to transfer... I also lost twins (after transferring two 3de). For our first FET, we transferred one. For our second FET, we transferred 2. For our next fresh we transferred 1 blast (BFP, but missed miscarriage)..... now we have 2 frosties. Twins again terrifies me, but now it's been a whole year since we lost our twins and I'm not even pregnant again. We have done back-to-back-to-back cycles. I'm so tempted to transfer the 2 blasts I have left....

Jennie and Rio - have great betas today!

Rio - I was *super* lucky to find my DH! We met freshman year of college. I was just 17 (he was 19). He is the first boy I've ever dated! and feel better with the OHSS. I'm no help - I'venever had it, fingers crossed!

I go for my next SnS tomorrow morning. Hopefully my lining is building up nicely! In my past FEts, I've done 2 weeks of estradiol tablets and then started progesterone. Tomororw will be one full week of estradiol.... hopefully just 1.5 more weeks until FET!
