heather- it must have been so tough for you to bring the nursery things to your cousin , but that took a strong women and Aimee is proud of you... I cant imagie what you have gone through, I am sorry...

Leora- Stay postive even though FET's have lower rates it can still happen... I have done 2 and I would again if I had too, you never know what can happen and this can be the one

Just a few personals as I don't have much time unfortunately...

Rio - I am SOOOOOOO stoked for you. Yippppeeee! Enjoy you u/s this coming week.

Klinger - Fantastic to hear about your BFP but sorry to hear about your 2nd embie not hanging in there. I found out at my 7 wk scan that my second sac had was non viable. My emotions were certainly a bit mixed up but overall very happy that the one embie was looking good.

Karen - yay for you! Great beta numbers.

Margi - sorry to see that your last cycle didn't work out but I'm sending lots of baby dust your way for a BFP real soon.

Lou - you are well and truly due some good news. It must be heading your way!

AFM - i've been lurking in the background, catching up on the posts on this board every few days. All's well for me any my 12 wk bean. It's been a crazy couple of weeks. DH (well, actually DP) proposed to me a couple of weeks ago. Totally out of the blue. We've been together for over 11 years and known each other since we were 19. A week later we revealed the baby news to both sets of grandparents. They are just over the moon. This week, I've been busy telling all the folk at work. And to top it off, it was my birthday on Tues. I've also started a new role at my workplace so it's been pretty full on.

I had my 12 wk screening u/s yesterday. My goodness me, I didn't realize that little beans moved around so much. Baby measured up really well, heartbeat was fine. I'll get the Down's syndrome screening results once the u/s results have been combined with a bloodtest. Have another appt with my OBS in 2 wks. It was just so cool to see a face, legs, arms etc. What a buzz! My pregnancy is finally starting to feel real. I keep looking a the u/s picture thinking, that little bean's wriggling around inside me.

Anyway everybody, although I'm seldom posting, I am tracking everyone's progress and am thinking of you all.

Hello Everyone Sorry I have been MIA. I have alot to catch up on I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I talked to our nurse this past week and it looks like they are planning the ER for the week of January 20th which I take as a good sign since my DH birthday is Jan 21st. I am sending my DH to get me some DHEA tonight. Does anyone know how much I should take? I hope everyone is doing well and I have alot of reading to do.

Good News....

U/S went well this morning, I asked to have another one because I wasnt very happy with my first number.
Lining is now 7.8 and Im MUCH happier with that.
FET on Tuesday (hopefully this is the last)
Starting my progesterone, anti rejection drugs, and something else that I cant remember tomorrow.
Fingers are crossed!!!
Its snowing like crazy here today, all the buses are canceled..

That is wonderful news Krys.. I was wondering what the progesterone would be like...so now i'll be able to know what to expect..through you... Yay!

Karian - I totally understand your frustration, so you are undiagnosed infertility? IVF is very cruel. There is no rhyme or reason to it sometimes. I am sorry you are expecting bad news tomorrow. I am also happy your family is supportive of you. It is ok to be down. Sometimes women here have a wonderful cycle and get a BFN, some other women have a terrible cycle end up with one embryo and have a baby, who knows? IVF is part science and part gamble. I hope you do get good news tomorrow!

Heather - how awesome of DHs count to go up so much!!! Are his motility and morphology good too? I guess you can try an IUI first then a FET?

AFM I lost 4 of the 11 lbs gained with OHSS so far! So glad to be on the road to recovery! I am still drinking gatorade and taking it easy, DH has been awesome! I am now terrified of the US, I am not really having any pregnancy symptoms right now, no heartburn, dizziness, nothing, last night I had some dull cramping and got terrified of a mc. Later it went to my groin so I am hoping they were stretchy pains. I am just so terrified of not seeing a healthy baby, it will be too early for a HB, I know that. I am really trying to keep the PMA!

Karian: I am so sorry this is such a difficult journey for you. It is indeed so hard to understand. I wish there were easy answers. Just know that there are many of us who have been where you are and really understand what you are going through. I am so sorry. ((HUGS)) I am still hoping and praying that you get a miracle with your test tomorrow.

Rio: Lost two pounds!! Whoop Whoop!--I See 4 lbs. Even better! (Now you’ll need to lose a few more, before you gain it all back and then some over the next 9 months! ) I know it is normal to worry and fret...but try to relax and keep the positive visualization going. Your numbers were great. Stretching and pulling is all so normal, plus you have the OHSS messing with your body so that completely changes everything too. Keep chugging your gatorade and get ready for a heartwarming u/s in less than a week.

Tess: Great to hear from you! Wow...seems like a lot of congratulations are needed for you! How totally wonderful! And great to hear about your little bean. Thanks for the baby dust. I am trying to stay positive.

Amanda: Great to hear from you too. Glad you have a date and a plan! Regarding DHEA....75mg a day (3 X25mg is how I did it) is supposed to be the ideal dose. Best of luck and happy holidays.

Heather, it must of been tough packing all of Aimee's thing, but I personally wanted to commend you for demonstrating genuine kindness out of your own heart in helping that young girl. She sounds like she isn't prepared, but it must of meant the world that you were willing to help her and if I were that girl I would never forget people like you, someone who was willing make that difference.

AFM......We had dinner here yesterday for 14 people. It was a great day. His mom and sister did all of the real cooking and they helped clean up after. I was pretty tired yesterday and felt like i did alot. I still don't have any real noticeable symptoms. I am thinking of POAS tomorrow or Sunday. I am terrified! I'm not usually THIS afraid. I have no idea what we'll do if it's neg. We have sold our house at a loss. We are buying a house and moving. We probably have no frosties. (sigh) The thought of starting over nauseates me. Not to mention the financial part of it. I don't think we can afford another cycle with my own eggs or otherwise. I'm so scared and trying to stay positive all at the same time.

Cshell- what would you like to know about the lovely progesterone shots
(insert sarcasm) lol?!?
They're not too bad but they are not pleasent either.
A few tips..
- make sure you put heat and massage your butt after the injection, they
are oil based and if you don't do this some people develop lady lumps (like me)
mine got pretty painful but the heat does help if you stay on top of it.
- I was told to buy a cream called ARNICA you can find it at a health food store.
It's red with white writing. It apparently helps with bruising, swelling, etc. I found
this very helpful.
- the last thing I couldn't live without was my yoga pants, for my swollen butt, my
skinny jeans were NOT comfortable after awhile of the shots.

Good luck, I hope this info helps. It's not that bad when you focus on the end result.

Ester....WTF?! I am sooo very sorry. I just dont get it. Is it maybe time for a different doctor? I dont even know what to say. This makes no sense at all. Do you have another plan? I'm just sooo sorry. Big Hugs.

I''m behind in reading again...and will catch up in just a bit. For now...I wanted to let you know that I trigger tonight at 12:15am and retrieval on Monday at 12:15pm and transfer is on Thursday, Dec 2nd. I have 6 follies...5 are ready and 1 may or may not catch up. I'm still feeling good about everything this cycle. No problems like last time at all (knock on wood). E2 is 1455 which is terrific for 5 mature follies...so who knows there may be a couple of hidden ones in there. lol I cant believe that I am on my 3rd cycle on the Fall Cycle Group.
