Tammy - as long as the jerk gets tons of follies I am happy! Let us know how many follies and eggs and I am praying for an awesome fert report for you!

Ryann - WOOOOOHOOOO how awesome you got your FET date, I know you have been waiting for so long! How many will you transfer? Good luck with your dad, healing prayers his way!

Lou Good idea to get a second opinion, who did the hysteroscopy? If it was the RE then ask them. Did the radiologist read the results? Do you have it on CD? I got mine on CD and the radiologist looked at it then the RE did.

kbillsy - I agree with you on converting to IUI and waiting for maybe a better cycle, did you consider DHEA to increase your follies? My Re also used Femara.

Margi - hun, do not get down, you know it is possible to get a negative HPT and still get a good positive beta. It happened to me with our son. So take it with a grain of salt, those things can be wrong and remember we each process HCG in different ways so you can have a good blood beta and not a good pee beta! Too funny, we have one lovebird too! We have one cause we hard they get more attached this way, he really thinks he is a dog though, he is the best guard bird ever, he sounds the alarm if anyone comes to the door! He loves hanging on our shoulder and watching us do whatever. Our son adores him (he is kept separate from the dogs when he is loose. He is not clipped so he flies like crazy when we let him out. He has a huge personality and will chew your butt off if you do something he doesn't like!

Alright I need all of your PMA, I had this awful dream that at our US the nurse was talking really fast and quiet and the OB wasn't there. She was blabbing on about how at 5.5 weeks our bean was 24mm and that's too big so it is abnormal and not a viable pregnancy. Dh and I we devastated. I know these are just my fears in my dreams but it was a taste of disappointment I don't want :( I am trying to stay positive but I am freaking out!

Hello all. Today's ultrasound went well. We have 2 little beans- Baby A's heartrate was 117 and Baby B's was 121. A is measuring at 6w3d and B at 6w2d. This was a bit unsettling to met though, because I'm officially 6w4d. RE assured me that all is okay though. I appreciate everyone's thoughts. What a relief...

Klinger -- I didn't know that a tube can spasm and appear blocked during an HSG! I'm going to ask today at my appt.

Rio -- My OB did the HSG last week and it was my RE who did the hysteroscopy back in July. The radiologist was present for the HSG and read the results. I didn't get a CD but I can ask for one. I'm so confused!

Crystal congratulations!!!!!!!! I am sure a little smaller is normal for twins!!!!!!!!!

Lou ask if you can get a CD and take it to your RE and see what he thinks then since he did your hysteroscopy. Not everyone can read those things though. Did your OB and the radiologist see the results of your HSG and agree on the blocked tube? Sorry this is hard!

Crystal - yeah! Twins almost always measure a bit off - up to about a week is fine - sometimes they also can't get such a good view of one or the other. Congrats on the twins!

Tammy - like everyone else - I'm on pins and needles for you. Too bad I'm so many hours ahead of everyone - bed time now and I have to wait until the morning.

Blue - I'm ALWAYS a lurker - I think everyone lurks until their stimming/2ww and afterwards. Not much to report is a *good* thing, preggo! I'm in the sucky 2 ww (technically, I "o" tomorrow) - so you are better off!

Lou - sorry to hear about a blocked tube, but no advice since I've never dealt with that (MFI for me). I hope it works out though... I've been following (stalking!) you a while and I really want things to work out for you!

Rio - I used to have AWFUL dreams while pregnant! I'm sure it's nothing. Crazy dreams are part of being pregnant! (I dreamt I gave birth to puppies instead of babies, etc --- DIDN'T HAPPEN!:D)

AFM - I technically "o" tomorrow! I start my progesterone and wait for the FET on Sunday. Because I'm transferring 5 day embryos, I technically only have a 9-day-wait.... so my "2ww" starts tomorrow!
A friend of mine just got a BFN from her FET today. I'm feeling sad for her.... and it makes me more pessimistic about this cycle. I'm trying so hard to work on the PMA!

Ryann--- yeah for finally FINALLY getting a cycle day! I feel ya! It'll be 3 months since our baby's heartbeat stopped until this FET.... loooooong time to be waiting. Hopefully this is IT for both of us for a long time! You, me and Tammy are 2ww buddies! (but my clinic only does betas at 17dpo/12dp5dt - so I have to wait until Dec 17 (but the clinic is closed Fri/Sat and I hope they do the beta Thurs Dec 16 and NOT make me wait until that SUNDAY!))

I went for S&S today. I took a chance and asked the receptionist if my RE was there ( he normally is not at this facility). She said he was in surgery all day. I asked her to see if he could speak to me when he had a minute. So rude!!! He is in surgery all day, and looked at me like I was nuts! I went right in for blood and my RE came in as soon as she took the needle out. I told him how I can't walk down the hall without being out of breath and my heart racing. He asked for more blood so he could test my blood count. He called me himself a fee hrs later and said thank you for getting me this morning!! He said my count is 21 and should be above 30!!! He told me I can not get surgery if count is low. I am taking 325 mg of iron 3x per day and going back on Wed to get another test and see him. I have been eating foods high in iron since Thursday orGod knows what the count would be. My DH says if it goes below 15 I would need a blood transfusion! And yes, AF is still here!!! It is getting better though, but not as much as I would like.

lou - Yeah, a good number of women I knew who had tubal reversal surgery like I had, ended up having their tubes spasm during the procedure. They could tell that was what happened because they would expect the dye to stop at the point where the tube had been reattached but in some cases the dye wouldn't enter the tube at all. Subsequent HSGs (and in some cases "surprise" pregnancies) showed the tubes really were open and spasm was likely.

crystal - CONGRATULATIONS on your twins!! Awesome news that they're doing great and you already got to see the heartbeats, YAY!!!

lauren1171 - I am so sorry you are still dealing with this horrible AF! It is crazy after you had to wait so long for your D&C before you could start this cycle. Hopefully your levels will start to rise now...I've got everything crossed.

margi - Hoping you get that beautiful 2nd line and a great first beta in the next few days!

Okay.....get this.....I just got the call and my beta is 690    OMG...I even said....did you say 690? He said yep... 690! I asked if he thought it were twins and he said...yes...it's a good possibility. He said...if I'd put in more than 2....I'd be a little worried right now. He said to take it easy that we still have a long way to go and to take it easy. I am so excited! I can't believe it!

I will catch up on personals later! I have to call DH and tell him!

Okay, I went back to Wednesday and read all the posts. So if some of my comments are choppy, that's why LOL!

kbillsy - thanks for the information on the pharmacy! That was really nice of you. I'd offer a suggestion on your situation, but I am not sure. I am still a newbie. Just have faith! The right decision will be made.

Karin1 - Wow! 50k. Yeah, its kind of depressing, but I know when we hold our children we will know its all worth it ! Thanks for the education on the FSH. A giant congratulations to you!!!! I am super excited for you!

Rio - Yes! PGD is done on day 5. And yes, it is so a numbers gamble. I have seen people who do PGD and everything looks good but then they only have 1 or even none. I've seen it the opposite too. I was telling someone about a person who was against IVF because its not Gods will. I told them its completely the opposite. Everything, in my opinion, with IVF is Gods will. There are too many factors to make it work. And I appreciate you prepare me and keep me ground :) HUGS!!!!!!!! Glad you are on the recover for OHSS! Let that weight drop! And if you need some PMA, let me know! I am good with that. :) To answer your question at what point does the IVF stop. For mine it's after two cycles. I pay for one they give me one.

Nancy - ouch, on the chances of the FET. What do you think you might do? I am rooting for ya!! Oh I see your husband is almost 50. What does he think about being an older dad?

Jennie - I am really sorry about the chemical pregnancy. However there are 3 frosties!! That sounds good! New Year!!! Fresh positive thoughts! I am really proud of you for keeping it strong. You're amazing!

Amanda - a giant "awwwwwwwwww" on seeing and hearing the heartbeat !! fantastic !!!!

Tammy - Hope the ER goes well! I am really really excited for you! I am so sorry about your friend's family. That's horrible. I will definitely say prayers!

Lou - Happy Birthday yesterday!! Glad your hubbies surgery went well!! I am really pushing for a great cycle this time for you!! Hey! I would definitely get a second opinion before they start cutting into you! People make mistakes and things happen. If you have doubts, ask. You are the only one advocating for yourself !!

Lauren - Glad you're staying positive, and Happy Belated birthday! We are close in age. I am 35! So you stim slow? What is the normal time frame for stimms? .. I just read your post on Sunday and I can't believe the craziness you are going through! But the giant pad post made me laugh. You definitely deserve a big hug ! .. oh I just read your post from this morning. Girl, take care of yourself! I am glad you got the DR!! Keep us posted.

Karenthescorpio - Woohoo Great beta !!!! I am sooooooooooooo Happy for you!!!

Heather - I can't imagine how difficult that would have been packing and unpacking that stuff! You did the right thing helping someone else out. That is always rewarding.

Margi - I hear ya! I dont want to contact the insurance company too much. I used to do medical billing years ago and saw horrible things like a guy who had open heart surgery and the anesthesia bill was not covered because it was deemed "Not medically necessary". I remember calling them and telling them to let me open up their ribs and tell me if they didn't need anesthesia. Crazy ! And I really believe you will have your BFP ! Not long until you find out !

Krys - Its great you're happy with your results! That makes things easier! Enjoy the snow!

Karian - I am so glad you posted all your feelings Friday! Its good to get it out and let the board hear it. We are all here for you! LOL about the margaritas and beers. Yup, they make most things feel better! Hey I dont understand the purpose of the shot and the blood type. What's that about?

Kynlee - Glad you have a great supportive husband! That helps a tremendous amount.

Tess - I am so happy your little bean is growing so good! That's great! Awwww and the new grandparents are excited. great!

Esther - I am so sorry sweetheart. Take your time. We are here if you need us! And dont think you're going through this alone, we are all here for you!

Leorira11 - what's your name? Congrats on the Dec 5th FET !!! I am so excited for you! Sorry about your friend's BFN

Rypell - OMG Friday is sooo close!! YES! How awesome is that! WOOHOO!! HUGS! Hugs for your dad too!

Baby_blu - Glad you're keeping up with us!

Crystal - Congratulations !!!! Woooohooo two little beans !!! YAY!

AFM - Today I was scheduled for my bloodwork. I went in and did my bloodwork and then they wanted to do an U/S. I told them that the RE said it was only going to be bloodwork today. She said well lets just do one. I said, okay. So I did. While she was doing it she said "There's that little cyst on your left ovary." I said, "Little cycst?" She said, "Yes, I saw it last US but it seems smaller today". Its nice they tell me these things! Do you know if a cyst can affect anything?

Anways, about 3 hours later I got the call that I can start my stimms!! YES!! I am so stink'n excited !! Finally! I called my husband and asked him what time he had to go to his meeting tonight and he said "7:30". I said, "Well what are we doing for dinner?" He said he didn't know. I said, "Well I just want to make sure you're home tonight when I start my medication".. there was silence on the phone and he said "oh my gawd .. omg....ooooh mmmm gggg".. all teary eyed. He is just as thrilled. That made my day!

I have several questions if anyone would like to answer. Okay, progesterone readings? Why do I need to pay attention to this number? I see it on my bloodwork, but I'm not sure what to look for. Also, what does having a cyst on your ovary mean? Will this affect my stimms? Anything I should be expecting or looking out for during stimms?

Amanda - Can you please proudly move me to stimms! My next drs appointment is Friday! Meds are Follistem and Menopur :)

Thanks ladies! You are the best! Truely!

Hugs all around!

Leora -- Thanks. We have male factor infertility too! Double whammy. DH just had his varicocele repaired though. We shall see if his quality improves in a few months.

Rio -- Thanks. I will call RE and see what he says.

Klinger -- I asked my OB and she said it could've been a spasm but there's no way to really know unless they go in and check. I'm scheduled for a laparotomy 12/13.

AFM -- Laparotomy to explore a possible tubal blockage is scheduled for 12/13. I'm out of town 12/5-12/12... ugh! I hate this so much. I wish I could fast forward this part of my life and be sitting there at home holding my baby instead. I'm scared to death.

Karin - how many dpo are you? Wow congrats on twins and an awesome beta! WOOOHOOOOOOOO!

Leorira - thank you for the big smile, you ha me cracking up with your dream of having puppies! Thank you, I needed that! I am so excite your 2WW is acutally more like a 1WW!!! I have a great feeling this is your BFP, try to keep the PMA, sorry about your friend!

Lou - put that boy on vitamins and CoQ10! You are doing everything you can and you are on your way to your miracle baby! Huge baby dust!

Chelle - a cyst is the same thing as a follicle, they call it a follicle when they want them and a cyst when they don't. It depends on the size of the cyst, most go away quick, my cycle got pushed back a month because of a cyst but some REs go ahead anyway, don't worry about it, happens all the time! I am so excited you get to start! Yes you need to look out for major emotional ups and downs, we all get a little crazy, I cried a lot. Seriously they don't call it crazy juice for nothing! I am not sure about progesterone, I thought you only did that after transfer with your beta. Your main number is Estradiol now. Just be prepared that with IVF things change from one day to another so be flexible. Best of luck!

Lauren 1171 - OMG - take good care of yourself, can they give you an iron supplement? Argh, best of luck, so sorry!

Chelle - YAY for starting your stims today!! WOO-HOO!! Doesn't it feel great to start the next step in the process and move on down the list??

lou - I wish you didn't have to go through the laparatomy but I'm glad you've got it scheduled and will know for sure how your tubes are doing after the procedure. I'll be thinking of you!
