2nd IVF Try & New to the Board

Hi Everyone,

Just a short note to introduce myself. I'm 40 years old and 3 years ago met the love of my life and the person that I want to have a family with.

We're not able to conceive on our own so after going through a year + of IUIs, my partner and I did our first IVF this summer. It didn't take, but was, I'm hoping a good learning experience for this try. I'm going into my second egg retrieval on Friday or saturday and we'll likely have a day 5 transfer. The prednisone, puregon, repronex, baby asprin and synarel aren't helping to stabilize things, I'm afraid! Our tww ends Christmas Day - so this is a bigger day than usual.

I am really pretty anxious, 'tho I'm trying to relax - easier said than done. I'd appreciate any prayers or good thoughts you could send our way.

There are 2 cycle groups started in the IVF board for Fall and December transfers. You'll find a lot of good information over there! Best of luck to you!!
