Just popped on to wish you luck for tomorrow - don't worry the symptoms come and go - all those you described are pg symptoms not pessaries but I had a mare with my pessaries - hot flushes, stomach upsets the lot.

There will be something there I am sure tomorrow but my symptoms used to disappear just before my scan and my bump shrinks!!!

Fell over today with the dog walking and fell right on my side and squashed a twin and completely knackered my ankle - can hardly walk. I of course burst in to tears - which /I have done loads today! Must be hormones and tiredness etc. Don't think twin on left very happy with me so waiting for her to wake up as both very active yesterday - needless to say thought I had killed her.
Anyway off tonight for a comitte meeting - don't ask!
Good luck Caz and you will worry it's natural - post as soon as you can.
Love
Tracey

hello everyone

Caz I am like you. I started having no symptoms at all and I keep telling DP that I think there is nothing there anymore. It has really been getting me down.

I had sore boobs a few weeks ago and now not at all. i have never felt sick.

The only thing is today I feel like pre-AF because I have back ache and am sooooo moody. I am trying really hard to keep calm but I have been very irritable.

My scan is on Thursday and I need that day to hurry up so I can reassure myself.

We had decided that once I got pregnant we would move from London to Brighton. One thing I don't want to bring children up in my part of London and another my sister lives in Brighton, with her two small children and my dad moved there last year. This means lots more help. We are going to the States in two weeks and when we come back we are going to put our house on the market.

Today we have been trying to get rid of lots of junk so it will be easier when we move.

Anyway good luck for tomorrow Caz. Let us know as soon as you can

love Tania

Well - just thought I'd come on here as have been awake for what seems like hours! And so nervous.
Tracey - like you said all my symptoms appear to have gone!!
Just praying it will go the right way and they find one littel heart beat. If they dont - well I dont know WHAT i'll feel like. Everyone keeps saying " yes but at least you can get this far". Thats kind of not how I'm seeing it at the moment though. If you know what I mean!
Anyway - I will let you know as soon as I can.
Tania -HOW exciting about moving to Brighton - it looks wonderful and super trendy at the moment. What a greta place to bring up children. We too are hoping to move out of the big smoke. I think we will do this whatever happens though. Finger crossed!

Hello
Just thought I'd come on before I go back to work to say we saw one beautiful amazing little heart beat. I am OVER THE MOON!! They didnt tell me what rate the heart beat was or anything - but I asked if it all looked okay she said it all looked just fine. My ovaries are still swollen up quite alot which I guess explains the bloating a bit. Anyway that for all your support lovelies. O I am , as i already knew 6 weeks 5 days
Having another scan at 10 weeks. So I'm sure I'll start to fret about that soon, but not just yet :D :D

Its weird - up until now its just been all numbers , HSG levels etc - but to actually see something inside you is , well, words are not enough! :D :D

Tania roll on thursday - it will blow your mind away!

How wonderful - am setting you up your own thread too - did not want to jump the gun though I knew everything would be fine  Told you so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's wonderful isn't it - they don;t do a hearbeat rate at that stage as not a fully formed heart if you get my drift - they just like to see the flickering!!!
Congratulations - you must be thrilled and no knicker eating - bugger would have liked to have seen that!

Take it easy and wait for the others to read it all - they will be so excited!

hello Caz

I am so excited for you. That is wonderful.

I have three days left to go and I am getting quite anxious as I have no sypmtoms, like you. But at least I am not the only one with no symptoms.

Well enjoy the next few months till the next scan. I am not sure if I have a ten weeks scan. I have to see my GP next week to see what I do next.

Caz - great news - it makes everything so real, doesn't it. I bet you are relieved though and grinning from ear to ear - well done!

Tania - don't worry. Lots of people, including me had no 'traditional' pregnancy signs. It doesn't mean things are wrong. Try not to get too anxious and enjoy. Rather not be sick, than actually be sick!! LOL
When you're writing on hear when you are waddling and huge, we'll all grin and remind you of this!!

Take care both

Hello. I am new to the site, although I have been reading all the messages for about a month during my 2ndWW. It really helped me get through it. Now my computer is working properly, hope you don't mind if I join in.

I had my EC on 28th April and ET on 1st May. 3 embryos were put back, two 8 cells and a 6. I got a +ve HPT on 12 May and am having my first scan on Thursday and feeling very nervous. Like everyone else only just on this board, some days I don't feel very preganant at all and others, like today, I feel very tired and sick with sore, veiny boobs.

This, hopefully, will be my 3rd child. I have a son aged 10, conceived through IUI, and a daughter aged 6, conceived through IVF. They are well worth the effort it took to get them. I have a new partner and although I was 40 (ouch) in Jan we thought we would have a go at IVF as we would love a baby together. I never dreamt it would work as I am so much older. Knowing my luck, I'll find out on Thursday it's twins!!!!!

Hope everyone is ok

Hi everyone,
Caz - so pleased everything is fine with you! Congratulations, all sounds perfectly OK!
Phew myself, actually - had my 8-week scan yesterday, which showed a lovely little fetus, heartbeat, sac and everything that's meant to be there...! We were so thrilled! It measures 15 mm (chestnut size?), which apparently is just right for this time. So now they've 'released' me from the IVF unit and referred me to the GP. I'm seeing her next Tuesday, 1st June and take it from there. I assume I won't have another scan until the magic week 12 (which already worries me greatly, because a lot could happen in the next 4 weeks, coulnd't it? and most of you seem to be going for scans a lot more often?).
Anyway, so far so good! I'll try to postpone any more worrying until later - my parents are coming over from Germany for the Bank Hol, so hopefully we'll just be in celebratory mood and leave the fretting until next week...
Hope everyone else is OK and scans going well!
Lots of love,
bina
P.S. Oh - gem, they got my EDD as 9th January '05- yours is a bit earlier, isn't it?

Bina

Great news re the scan and try and not worry now - I had just the one scan before 12 weeks at 6.5 wks then had to wait until 12 so you have had an extra one.
All as it should be so try and enjoy a bit!
Gems - try and eat more - it stops the sickness but if you are anything like me I liked to be feeling a bit sick so I knew I was still pg!
Love to all and can I start putting on EDD's or do you want me to wait?

Hello lovelies - thanks for all your great messages and Tracey thanks for my OWN thread - I feel very honoured!!
Ladies - good luck with your scans this week. Tracey, Bina and Tania right?? Have I missed someone?
Fiona - welcome - wow you are resident expert at this!!

No other news from me - O my EDD (still can't believe I'll actually get that far - seems all very abstract!) is 12th January. Bina it seems really close to yours especially as you are a week ahead of me??

Have been feeling sick ALL THE TIME. Have no idea why they call it morning sickness- for me its just been all day underlying nausea. Havent actually been sick - just feel....best descibed as tired, hungover and sick. Anyway - I'll gladly take it!! Gosh I am SUCH a brick arent I?!!!!

Gem - re the trouser department - its more my top half that the real problem - but I'm sure bottom half is about to follow
Too scared to weigh myself - feeling to tired to gym it - and slightly annoyed with myself for being so pathetic - but hey - there you go.

How is everyone with their grub?? I have no cravings- but have completely gone off weird stuff (that I used to eat ALL the time) like SALAD.!!!!! I mean who ever thought that a bit of old lettuce would be that contraversial!!!! O and the THOUGHT of wine (and I can tell you I HOOVERED before!) makes we well blaaahhhh!!!!
Basically all I really want is carbohydrates in the form of pizza and / or chips!!. Have been a real health nut for 5 years - so this must be divine retribution!!

Anyway enough dribbling on.......has anyone thought of getting a doppler machine - any experienced ladies got one?? Thoughts??

O O sorry, another question - am meant to going on holiday end June which is week 12(PLEASE GOD). Really want to have a nucheal scan before I go. They have said come in anywhere between 11-13 weeks. Did any of you experienced ladies have your "12 weeks" scan at 11 weeks (if you get me). Does it matter that much to have it a little early?

Also - is flying OK at that time? Its only Italy. Thanks!!

Anyway big X

Caz - Hello. Not sure I really qualify as an expert, my previous experience was 7 years ago and a lot seems to have changed since then. I never got a doppler machine and I don't think I would be tempted now because it would make me even more paranoid than I am already am, if that's possible!!!!. I too am hoping to fly next month and am going to check it's ok with the hospital tomorrow. I am sure it's probably ok but last time I didn't do anything for 9 months - no exercise, no flying, no drinking, no sex. Basically, no life! Am going to try not to be so paranoid this time. Ha Ha.

Pretty certain I had a nuchal scan at 11 weeks - don't think it makes much difference.

Caz

I was a carbo girl too - chips and loads of them and crisps - honestly Walkers love me!!! Doppler - no way - would be far too paranoid! My midwife sometimes has a problem finding heartbeats let alone me and said people worry to much with them - your choice!
As for nuchal - both times I have not been 12 weeks - first time nearly 12 and this time just coming up 11 and this was fine.
Flying no problem - Italy is fab - drink plenty and keep moving - get some of those attractive socks.
Let me know all of you when you want EDD's up
