Gina I'm really sorry you are enduring this.. I strongly disagree that what will happen will happen... and think you need to follow your instincts and take things easy. Please let us know what's happening as it unfolds. It sucks hard that you are going through this, even though things are most likely just fine, the mental stress is nothing to be ignored.
Amanada, I'm anxious to see what is happening with your next ultrasound. I've never heard of anyone getting them so late in the day, do they have a special pregnant-lady torture plan in place for you?

I know your cervix is of great concern to you but it sounds like you are really covering your bases this time and are willing to do whatever it takes to keep your bebe safely snuggled deep inside. I can completely understand your abstaining with a cervix issue, and although you must miss the intimacy and closeness, I would be freaked out and too worried to enjoy anything. DH and I have resumed things to some degree... but few and far between and careful... which kind of takes a lot of the fun out of things. I'm sure we'll all be more relaxed in a couple of months.
Baby - that's funny that you guys were cleared for takeoff two weeks ago. LOL I hear you about the prometrium. It's icky at the best of times, but really just a cream. I'm only on them for another week - OMG it's hard to believe I'm in my ninth week.
As for the morning sickness, I don't have a lot... I get one good wave in the mornings at times, when I first wake up, where I actually hit the toilet and gag... but other than that I have to keep myself well fed and I'm okay. If I get too hungry I get really queasy. I haven't gained any weight yet so that's a good thing. As long as I keep myself rested and full, I seem to do a lot better. As soon as I work too hard or go 5-6 hours without eating I really feel it.
I guess I need to call my clinic to arrange for the nuchal fold scan....
My ultrasound is this afternoon at 1 - not sure if David can make it this time because of his work (he's 45 minutes away on a huge pipeline job that is in the throes of winding down and he's one of the inspectors). So that would be over 3 hours of time in the middle of the day and it's dark here by 5:30. Ugh. It's not a huge huge appointment, but still would be nice for him to be here.. my mom is gonna stand in if he's not available. She's never been to an ultrasound - 8 kids, 22 grandkids and 23 great grandkids (I think.. been a while since we counted). So over 50 direct pregnancies/births as a matriarch and never seen an ultrasound. LOL
