Tammy - You are so funny! I was thinking the same exact thing lol. But that's pretty scary since that is what Jon and Kate did lol! That's why I asked RE about iui, and he said no way. I hope my number goes up cuz this sucks. Not to mention waste of meds and in January I have a $250 deductible. I am just going to have to hope things change by Friday.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes!

He stood in front of that window all.morning.long. lol I love that picture...and wish I wasnt already done doing my Christmas cards.

Tammy - Good luck tomorrow!!! I will thinking about you and giving you all the positive energy I have!! And I won't go away until every lady on this board has their results!! There were many people rooting for me and everyone deserves that same amount of cheerleading. This is a tough process, we need each other!

Lauren - I hope that all your numbers start getting back in shape and that you don't get cancelled. You still have some time so become the biggest red meat carnivore over the next couple of days and build up that iron. Have your DH take you to one of those Brazilian meat places or something. :)

Ryann - Glad to hear that your Dad is doing ok and I will continue to pray for your family until he is completely in the clear. I can't imagine the stress that you are handling right now - It's amazing how well you are doing.

Rio - Like Tammy, I will be anxiously awaiting your u/s results. Post as soon as you can and let us know how it goes.

Karin - Hope you stay away from the flu and that Hannah feels better soon.

Margi - Good luck tomorrow!!!!!!!

Anna - How awesome that you were able to trigger on iui so quickly. They always say that the best things come when you least expect it and perhaps the reduced stress levels of constant medication and appts will make it work for you. Crossing fingers and toes for you!

Krys - It sucks that you have to take the painful blood thinner. Is there a reason why they make you do that rather than a simple baby aspirin? On the up side, you are PUPO!! Congrats!!

Chelle- I hope that your work issues get resolved. One of the hardest parts of this process is trying to get the flexibility at work to take the time that you need, while stressing about all the results and also providing as few details as possible to the people you have to report to. I have a fabulous boss that allows me a lot of flexibility, but it still became an issue at times. Its a hard decision to figure out what to do. I hope timing works out well for you.

AFM - I got the call that I expected so at least that part is over. I was a little annoyed when I went in because my doctor walked past me and didn't even acknowledge me. Nothing! At first I was upset and wondering WTF - I have spent a ton of time, money and effort with him and gotten 3 negatives this year and nothing? He has seen my lady parts more then my hubby. I should have at least gotten a nod or something. :) Then I calmed down and figured that maybe he was concentrating on a chart or working with another patient so whatever. I have a follow up appt on the 14th so I plan on having a list of questions ready to throw at him so that can be my revenge. I am relentless when I am on a mission! :) I am insured and have met all of my massive deductibles and out of pocket for this year so I figured it was better to at least get the meds ordered before the end of December to avoid that copay. Even if I don't start until Jan/Feb/March the meds will still be good. This is going to be my last cycle so I need to make it count. I don't have the option for iui as I have no tubes so this is really my only option and there is no way that I can self pay. Not that I want to make this about money because having a baby would mean more to me than a bank account, but I really don't know how anyone can afford it.

I hope that everyone is doing well!! Sorry to those I missed!! xoxo

[quote="ChelleDe"]Mishell - does your follistim and menopur shots sting? I think its way cool we are stimming together, we are about a week apart on ER and we almost have the same name!

Hi Chelle- The shots aren't as bad as it seems. THe first night I started Follistim and Menopur it took a good hour of finally breaking skin.. Really all that anxiety for nothing. If I had to choose which one stings more i'd say Menopur..But really its not that bad. I hope your work approves your leave..even w/o pay. That stinks that its gotta be like that.. like this whole ivf thing isn't stressful enough. My heart goes out to you!

Ryann.. so glad to hear the scariest part is over with your dad! Still praying for him. I cant believe we are just about ready to do our transfers.

Krys- sorry you have to do yet another shot..and a stinger at that! I'm curious to know the benefits of blood thinners as well. Good luck with it!

And Good luck all you Thursday gals! I'll be sending extra babydust to you all tomorrow!! :D

Chell and Mishell - Do you guys mix your follistom and menopur, or do them seperate? I mix Gonal F with Menopur, and I find that if I let it set for a few min after mixing it does not burn.

Cheri - I know exactly what you mean about not being able to afford it. I think I could come up with the money for 1 FET a year, but that's it! I have enough meds to last me til Friday. The nurse said I should get a refill in case I need another night. I guess it's good to have it in case anyway. Ya my RE has seen my parts more than DH lately too lol!

I woke up late today for appt. My DH came home from work and I had 10 min to get ready. I basically washed up fast. After S&S the nurse took me in to do blood pressure and weigh me. We walked right past REs office so I asked if I was still seeing him? She said yes, he is going to do a pelvic exam! I was thinking great! I would have shaved my legs lol!!!

Ryann - I am so glad part one of your dad's surgery went well. Still sending lots of prayers for the rest of the surgery and his recovery. Keep us posted when you can!

We have so much happening tomorrow!

Tammy - Good luck with ET tomorrow! And my husband keeps cracking up about the blueberries too! Every so often he'll ask the dog if mommy was trying to feed him blueberries this morning. I'll never live this one down. :D

Karen & Rio - Wishing you wonderful u/s tomorrow! I can't wait to hear how they go so be sure to post right away!!

Karin & Margi - Hoping for wonderful betas! Can't wait to read great results from both of you tomorrow!

AFM, my u/s was AWESOME!! Our one little bean grew a lot in the last week. It's now measuring 7w5d (and I'm 7w6d) so it gained a few days there. Heartbeat was 167 bpm and we could see little limb buds starting! It was amazing. DH & I were just awestruck and on the verge of tears. The second sac is still growing (a week behind) and it's still empty. So eventually it will realize there's no baby inside and my body should reabsorb it. Then the RE said that was our last visit with them and when we said our goodbye's and thank you's I burst out crying. The doc I saw tonight was the doc who did my emergency surgery in August and was able to save my last ovary. So if he hadn't been able to get that damn tube off of the ovary then, we wouldn't have been doing IVF at all. I'm so glad he was the doc we got to see for our last (and wonderful) appointment!

Amanda: Love the blueberries on the dog food! I needed a chuckle. So glad all is goin well with your bean. Limb buds--so exciting! And so touching about your RE...so glad he was able to be there.

ChelleDE: Sorry about that time off policy. That stinks for sure. I would hope that any employer would be flexible nowadays. A happy employee is a productive employee! Hoping that it all gets worked out...it has to, so it will. Check this crazy office problem I have: I can't even tell my boss because I would get such a horrible lecture. She knows about my first IVF--the one that landed me in the hospital for months so she thinks it would be "stupid" for me to try again. She hasn't known about either of our other two IVFs nor about the IUIs. (I think I "implied" a UTI for my last ET) Also, she and her DH have "chosen" to not have kids so I think that affects her attitude as well. Anyway, I sneak around, make excuses and take time off for other reasons to avoid letting her know we are trying again. It is ridiculous, but I can't handle the stress of telling her and dealing with the fallout. How stupid is that?

Rio: I am sticking with IUI...it is all we can afford at the moment. I wish it wasn't the situation, but it is what it is. Can’t wait to hear about your u/s tomorrow...I want to hear ALL about your little bean. :D

Lauren: Sorry!!! I am hoping and praying that your number comes back ok on Friday and you get to proceed while all is looking so good. Chow down that meat (if you eat meat)...spinach, whatever else has iron. I am rooting for you!

Karin: I second Rio. Quarantine, clean and call doctor. They all know how paranoid (I mean careful) we are. I think you will be fine even if you get sick, but you should of course avoid it if possible. Good luck...but I really think you will be ok regardless.

Krys: Again, congratulations on being PUPO!! And, I never heard of fragmin...I’m interested to know how it helps.

Ryann: Yeah! So glad to hear about your dad. I will continue to send good wishes his way so that all continues to go well with his next surgery and recovery. And transfer on Friday--looking so good! Lots of baby dust for you.

Tammy: Heck no--I don’t mind any questions at all...we exhausted our insurance with the 3 IVF cycles. Maxed out of lifetime benefits. :-( SO instead of completely throwing in the towel, we are going with IUIs w/stims. I know it isn’t ideal, but we are doing “the best we can with what we have.” I do respond well in terms of number of follies, just can’t seem to get the “right” one yet. You agree, I should rev things up next cycle? Have a wonderful ET tomorrow...and then take it easy.

Rio: my head spins a bit--I forget what I say to you here versus the Nov board. LOL. But have a fabulous u/s in the morning. I KNOW you will and I can’t wait to hear all about it. You are gonna make me cry happy tears for sure.

Anna: ( I posted on Nov board) but you sneaky girl!! Right into the 2ww tomorrow. LOVE IT. And I am praying all goes well and you won’t need any medicated IUIs or IVFs anymore. When are ya goin to start POASing? LOL. Are you like Leora? Can you at least wait until after getting inseminated?

Karen: You get to see your bean tomorrow too? Right? Can’t wait to hear your report either!

Cheri: Glad that you got your answer...now get yourself prepared for you WTF session!! List of questions in hand! Get meds ordered before the end of the year and you are gonna be ready! New year--new baby ;-)

AFM: Sigh. This is it. Last sleep until Beta. Not even sure if I am going to POAS in the morning or not--and you KNOW that is bad for an addict like me to not feel the "urge" to pee on anything. But, I am fairly certain this cycle isn't it. Thank you all so much for your positive thoughts, prayers and energy. I will try to give it a wee bit more PMA before tomorrow. Sleep well all!! The baby dust is overflowing from this board. It is so awesome. I have to believe that I too, will get there. If not tomorrow-then soon.

today is such an exciting day.... but all of y'all are on PACIFIC TIME? WTH? :D It's 10am here.... and I have to wait allllllllll day to hear from you guys!

How do y'all see pictures of each other (ie, Tammy's Zach with his book)? Facebook? If so, I'd love to be facebook friends with all of you! Just be careful - my IVF is still "in the closet" on Facebook - so only IVF stuff here! But my name is Leora (edited! I don't want people to find me on Google searches this way! PM me for my last name to find me on facebook!).

Pins and needles for everyone with u/s, betas and ETs today!

Amanda - pregnancy brain can really make you stupid! Fun story about the blueberries. My dog would eat them! andcongrats on seeing your baby again! It's so nice to know that these things CAN go right!

Margie & Chelle - I had told my boss about the IVF so she was super understanding about me needing time off.... then she got fired! Now *I* have her job... the only person above me is the CEO of the company! So now it's no one's business when/why I take off - but my office is super gossipy. I have to come up with "good reasons" all the time. When I'm stimming (ie, coming in to work a little late everyday), they also seem to be doing construction on the road between my house and work! :D The Sunday, for my FET, my grandmother is 'arriving' from New York to visit and I"m picking her up at the airport.... but she is really arriving Tuesday night, after work....

Karin - don't worry about being sick! You'll be fine... I had SWINE FLU at 14 weeks pregnant with my twins -and they were fine (what happened later was not related at all)

2dpo for me! FET on Sunday!

Re: Fall 2010 Cycle Group

Hi ladies. My u/s went great! They saw the gestational sac and the yolk sac. And just ONE this time! :D I'm 5w2d so too early for HB. So I'll return to RE in about 7-10 days for HB check. Yeah! Also, I didn't realize until after I left that they didn't give me an u/s pic! I was so happy and excited that I totally forgot! So when my nurse calls me today with my b/w results I'm going to ask her to print one for me and I'll come get it! Yeah! So happy!

Good Luck to everyone today !!! How Exciting !!

Krys - Hang in there! Stay Busy! I am wishing you good betas !

Ryann - I am so happy everything is going great for your dad!! I can't imagine how difficult that was for you and your family. Glad everything was a great outcome ! Heck, I think your dad made out on that deal. Wine vs Morphine.. it would have been a toss up for me ;) Hope everything goes well tomorrow!!

Tammy - OMG Girl, I just want to reach out and smack ya one! Dont even think that you have cancer or something like that would happen. PMA Girl! PMA !!! and I'd only smack outta love lol and you are so funny. Taking your phone into transfer lol

Cheri - well at least the call is over. haha I agree with you if the Dr has seen more of your lady parts than your husband you should have definitely get nod ! Glad you are preparing for the next cycle. I like the fact you are on a mission! That's what it takes!

Mishell - Its weird how we tend to get worked up about the shots. I have to mix my follistim and menopur so I'm not sure either. But I heard it was the menopur that stings. It doesn't burn when putting it in, but it burns afterwards for a few minutes.

Amanda - I just went awwwwwwwwwww when I read your post. How cute!! The limbs, and everything. I am about to cry such happy tears for you! Such a great outcome.

Lauren - I just mix it and then put it in. I never thought about letting it sit. I will definitely give that a try. LOL @ shaving the legs. I hate when they spring stuff on you like that. Oh well. They know that during the winter months we tend to look like a bear. I tell my husband in the spring time that I need to go de-forest my legs or Mow my legs. Okay, really I do shave in the winter, but not like I do in the summer lol.

Heather - Your Pom Poms are working!! Glad AF is in full fource!! PMA!

Margi - That is crazy!!! I think it does make a difference when people elect not to have kids. Some become so cynical about kids. And really your boss shouldn't give you lectures. She's not your mom. People like that bug me. I hope you have a good beta !

Leora - Where are you? I am CST ! You must be EST. I like your cover up stories. Heck, can I come work for you? Need a Web Designer, Graphic Designer, or Marketing Associate? Leora, I'll add you to my facebook !!

AFM - I am stimming away! I mix my menopur and follistim. I dont think it stinks bad when it goes in, but for me about 5 to 10 minutes afterwards is when it burns. Then about a half hour to an hour later I swear my ovaries are twitching. Right now it feels like I can feel my ovaries. Maybe it's psychological. I will know tomorrow when I got for my SnS.

My Husband was funny he had a meeting last night and had to go and I was busy doing something on the computer. He said, "oh, okay I'll go and you go ahead and do your stimms", I said, "Is that okay or did you want to participate"? He just gave a sad face and said, "I look forward to this as much as you do". Made me tear up!

Things did resolve themselves at work. After several discussions with HR the worst that will happen to me is I wont get my paycheck on the 1st of January (I only get paid once a month) but I'll get a supplimental check on the 15th. And I will lose my direct depositing for 6 months. Whoopie. So it all turned out okay.

Anything I should look for during my first SnS after stimming?

A couple of visits ago to my RE my nurse looked at me like I was crazy when I asked her about pineapple. She said "Oh probably one person did that and had a success, its just luck". I wonder if some of these nurses dont look at message boards and read what other people have done and what works. I am definitely buying pineapple! Yummy!

Also, diets.. Is there any certain dietary guidelines you are doing? I know fruits, vegetables, grains / fiber. Anything else?

Facebook!! YAY. If you want my email address or my name send me a PM. I wont post it just incase my Husbands exwife searches my name. We have custody of my step daughter and she bugs her all the time to see if I am pregnant or not. She then started bugging my Husband. I sent her an email a few days ago telling her that if she wanted to know if Im pregnant to email me and ask me. I even said set up auto email and ask me every day. Just leave my husband and step daughter alone. She replied back saying she doesn't care what I do or what my husband does. But then she sent me one later asking if I was pregnant. I call her Cuckoo lol.

Okay, I am chatty today! I suppose I should do some work. Have a great day! I look forward to all the results !
