Stephanie- Of course if you can figure out how to fix my pics than by all means go for it. You totally don't have to though. Maybe that time would be better spent with a shower? ;) J/K The smiles are just too cute! Oh I can't wait until my little one is here! You are so lucky you get them as an early Christmas present. I love watching children's faces light up when they see the lights and sounds of the holidays. Who knows if mom is behaving today. I just woke up 2 hrs ago. I was up half the night because my nose is stuffy and my neck muscles are killing me. ugh...go away cold!

Katie-EEEK a blow out!!!! That is the one thing I CAN wait for. YUCK! DH "says" he has a bad barf reflex. I think he just wants out of diaper duty...or dookie. I thought I read that when they have a blow out it meant they were ready for the next size diaper? Maybe I'm just remembering wrong. It all just flows together...it's like system overload. :)

Angela- How are you doing today pretty mamma! Thanks for the friend accept on fb. You and DH make such a cute couple! How are you feeling right now? Any more leaky stuff? I have to say, I heard the same as Katie in what to expect. Urine smells like amonia and amniotic fluid smells sweet.

AFM- nothing new here. Still sick. My appetite is increasing though. I was starving at like 6am so I ate some cottage cheese and then went back to bed. When I woke up at 1130am I made 3 eggs, 3 sausage and a piece of toast. Hmmm, I haven't gained any weight yet being pregnant. I'm still down 4lbs as of the last ob apt. I have a feeling that with Thanksgiving and my new appetite that may soon change. OOPS! :) XOXO

PA_FA – Thanks for the concern but I am almost certain that it is a little urine and more of the mucous plug. I don’t smell the sweet smell of amniotic fluid and it didn’t increase in the amount or I would have definitely called the office. Thank you so much for the compliment ... that picture on FB was taken when we went on a 7 day cruise.

I am so sorry that your mom is being so difficult but do you possibly think it has anything to do with the fact that you are pregnant and will have a little one that will take up a lot of your and DH’s time? I know that it sounds strange but I have heard a lot of parents (grandparents) become jealous because they want to spend a lot of time with their own child and the new baby is taking up most of the time and attention, which makes them feel left out and lonely. It might not be the case but it is just a thought …

Katie – Yes, I have heard the same thing about urine versus amniotic fluid so that is exactly what I did because I have been wearing a panty liner for weeks, which makes it easy. I think it is a small amount of urine and part of the mucous plug because it has a little brown tinge to it. I would have definitely called if it was a continuous flow that looked like amniotic fluid because I certainly don’t want to expose her to an infection but the slight leakage hasn’t increased at all. So I will definitely find out what it is tomorrow morning. I guess when I call my OB after hours I want to make sure it is truly a concern because I live more than an hour away and to be sent home in this weather would be horrible.

Stephanie – I am thinking the same thing about my mucous plug. Of course, I would be more concerned right now if Gabriella wasn’t already considered a term baby but I definitely think she will be just fine if she is born right now. I just love the baby pictures; they are really becoming so alert!

AFM – Only 11 more days until I will be induced but I am sure hoping that she arrives early anyway! I guess I can always hope right? I can definitely tell she has packed on the pounds in the last 2 to 3 days because I am having a really hard time getting around and I feel absolutely huge! It has been snowing here on and off for the last two days and according to the meteorologist, it is going to snow tomorrow, & Tuesday. I hope next week’s weather is a lot better considering the distance I have to go to get to the hospital so I can be induced because there are really only two highways to get there and they both are usually shut down due to accidents! Well, I hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Hi ladies,

Damit just lost my post...here i go again!

Claud Mady is gorgous and my what an eventful and painful birth!!! 18 hrs fair play to you jason is telling everyone i am "too posh to push" lol.

Steph. sounds like you may need some tough love with Andrew, with twins i cant even imagine how tired you must feel but surely he can do the earlier night feed and you get some much needed rest. Have a little chat with him and work something out, it sounds like madness not even been able to get time to take a shower, take care, btw your new pics are gorgous. I cant believe you are bleeding so much that def. wouldnt be helping you in the tiredness department, i hope it resolves soon.

Katie Kayla also loves falling asleep on our shoulders esp. jasons as he lets her linger longer whereas i tend to give her a cuddle then try put her back in her crib, jason calls me the "bad cop" as he hasnt the heart to see her upset at been put to bed. Its great you have your xmas tree up think i will do it this wkend as we are getting a real one and the house is very warm and it will die quick.

Babyluv rant as much as you want girl with been a mammy to 4 you deserve too!!! Do you always feed the twins at the same time???

PA still down 4 lbs oh so jealous!!!! Heck i put on nearly 3 stone though i have lost half of it so far my belly is really shrinking

AFM so finally got out of our snow bound house yesterday, seriously weird weather here in Ireland its the 1st time ever we have had snow in Nov. and for us its really bad literally the country shut down!!! Its still here as its below 0 degress and freezing but cabin fever set in and we had no food left, so we wrapped up Kayla and went to town. She just loves her buggy and slept from 10 am till 6:30pm with jason having to wake her for a feed inbetween!!!! Touch wood another great night feed last night, we fed her before we went to bed at 11:30, jason got up and fed her at 4 am then i got up at 8am ah how i would love that to continue!!! Thankfully and long may it continue after her morning feeds she settles down long enough to clean the house, do washing and shower. Had to increase her formula to 5 ozs every 3 hrs, she really is a little pudding, the odd time she does like a snack of about 2 ozs in between. So jason is back to work tomorrow  he really has been great and does so much ah well had to happen some time and its not as if i can go anywhere as i cant drive for 6 wks after a section. Quick question for those of ye who have had a section how long does it take for the numbness around the incision area to go away, not that it bothers me it just feels weird like a dental anaesthetic feeling. Right may go watch the X Factor and enjoy a glass of red wine :D oh how i missed it!!

gi xx
7th IVF finally our precious miracle girl Kayla born 24/11/10, 8th IVF FET Sept 2012 BFP!!!

Hello ladies!

Claudia-Madelyn is a super cutie! Babies are these beautiful little miracles that immediately steal your heart so you can quickly forget the "fun" of labor. I'm sorry your delivery was such a painful rollercoaster-how are you feeling now? I hope you are recovering quickly and enjoying being home. I do love Madelyn's name-will you call her Maddy? I'm a little partial, my DD is Madison and we call her Madi so it's a favorite name

Gi-How incredibly sweet you are! I can tell just how in love you are with Kayla-it is so special to watch over their little innocent faces while they are eating in the quiet of night! I can't believe you had 8 hours of sleep-count me as super jealous. I don't want to speed up time because I want them to stay little for a long time but I would love a little extra sleep. Has your Mam been staying with you? I hope you are all doing well.

Katie-Oh, the fun of a blowout diaper  I'm always amazed that something so little can produce so much poop! Is Ryan still partying each night? From your post I think you are being super productive so you must be awesome at juggling everything already. My house looks like a bomb went off in it, nevermind Christmas decorations. I can't believe Chris has to work 18 hours a day-YIKES! I sometimes countdown until Dustin comes home so I can get help. I know you'll do great (and will have to countdown the days until it is over).

Steph-Shower, what is a shower?!? I am with you now that the babies have decided to do everything at different times-different wake times, fussy times, messy diaper times. I have to be super quick to get anything done. I love that your neighbor snuck in and cleaned-that's very thoughtful. It's funny how people are quick to offer, but very slow to follow through. I'm sorry you don't have a lot of help right now-even though we know it's temporary, exhaustion is a killer! I wish we were all close to each other-I'd be there to help in a heartbeat. Take care of yourself-shower and sleep before you do anything else, it all can wait! I LOVE the pics-so adorable and the smiles melt my heart :D

Babyluv-Vent away! I know that I have been there before too. When you are tired those things grate on nerves 100% more-it is irritating, especially when you are geared up for time to actually sleep. Are you breastfeeding at night too? I did terrible with breastfeeding at home and only pumped but now my milk has dried up. I am amazed and so proud of you to be able to juggle all of it-that's a tough job to do. Have the girls stuck to eating every 3 hours? I found my chart that gives approximate times for growth spurts so I know better when they might be hungrier-manages my sanity and keeps me from letting them snack all the time.

Angela-Did you get any reassurance yet about the leaking fluid? How is the bedrest going? It is so hard to rest when it feels like there is so much to do-I hope you are sticking to it and keeping your sanity  The final weeks do creep by slowly but you can do it!

Karen-I'm so glad the u/s went well. We'll count down the 32 weeks with you-how exciting!! Have you told family and friends your news yet or are you keeping it quiet for now?

PA-I'm so sorry you are dealing with a cold on top of your concerns with your mom. I agree that the lifealert is a good idea-does it call paramedics and you? I saw your pics-the 3D picture is amazing and you look adorable with your baby bump!

Hazel-George sounds like he is keeping you super busy-so active and curious! I'm sure it is challenging when he doesn't nap well. Do you have a swing for him? Some babies like it and it puts my Jake to sleep when he's fussy and needs to sleep. I wish I had some great advice but I'm so out of practice and relearning myself. It has been 7 years since DD was a baby but feels like it was even longer!

Natasha-It is getting so much closer for your classes to end-yeah! How are you feeling?

Sonya-How are you feeling? I hope you are doing well :D

AFM-I just survived a crazy weekend-my DD turned 7 this week. Trust me when I say that time truly flies by! She had 8 little girls over for a party Friday night. They did great, except for one little girl. She was a nightmare-shoving down another girl while we were doing the pinata, screaming at the top of her lungs, and whining about EVERYTHING  I made Madi invite all 10 girls from her class so no one would feel left out but I will never do that again! That little girl won't be back anytime soon. We had another party with family yesterday-so I am officially partied out. The babies are going to be 5 weeks old tomorrow. Delaney is such a relaxed baby-really doesn't cry unless she is starving or has a poopy diaper. Jake is starting to develop more as our attention seeker-he cries when he needs our undivided attention. That seems to be often. It is fun to watch as they grow and more of their personalities come out. I am eager to get my first smiles after seeing Ethan and Angelina's cute expressions. I took the babies to school to eat lunch with Madi-now we'll see if they stay healthy or get sick from the germ factory.hahaha! We also made it to church today. Now, if I could just get Christmas shopping done and a picture time set up I will be doing good.

Take care-I'm thinking of you all!

Gi-I just saw your post. I'm 5 weeks out and still numb from the c-section. Other moms said it could take up to a year, and even then it may not feel "normal". It is a weird feeling

AWE Steph! Thanks for doing that! I <3 you!

Sara- yes lifealert will automatically call 911. I also have it set up so they will call me or DH as well. Just another layer of security.

gi- awe hon don't be jealous of me being down 4lbs. I had a lot to lose before I got pregnant. The metformin had just started working in helping me lose weight. Then pregnancy....no more wine. Well, at least I didn't turn into a house. I was scared the scale would go the other way. LOL So having a glass of wine and watching X Factor...I am SUPER jealous! I miss my TV shows in Ireland. :) Congrats on little Kayla sleeping so well. Lucky mommy!

Angela- 11 more days!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO I can't wait! I don't think it's a jealousy thing. She has been asking me when I would have a baby since I was 19. *roll eyes* She has wanted nothing more than to become a Grandmother. My dad always wanted to be a Grandpa...God rest his soul. I'm sure he is watching over me always.

AFM- My mom ate dinner tonight...on her own! No prompting! So maybe she will start acting like a responsible adult...the woman I know she is. All I know is that I had my first stress free day in a very long time. :)
It was a bit of a sad day though. My BFF called me...she was the first person who understood being unable to conceive until I met all you wonderful ladies. She had gone through 6 IUIs and maybe 4 or 5 IVF/FET. She finally did have a DS 2 years ago and adopted a DD around the same time. So she has small children that are almost like twins. She just suffered a miscarriage in May around the same time I did my IVM and ended up pregnant. OK so....I just found out tonight that she threw her hubby out last week. She found out he has been sleeping with random whores he was meeting on Craig's list. OMG...I want to strangle him! I just can't imagine the pain she is going through. How dare he...she was mourning her angel baby and he's out looking for tail. Anyhow, I am very sad for her and hope I can get over this cold this week so I can fly out to see her.
So ladies, Kiss your DH and let him know how thankful you are that he is who he is. Love you all. XOXO
