December Transfers??

Hi everyone....im still sore and sick....had tons of sleep today!

ER went well - had 6 eggs....more than I expected. However, I dont know how many of those are mature!?!?!

I'm waiting for the call tomorrow to see how many fertilised via ICSI - im hoping for 4

Dahlias - looks like we're transferring on the same day!!! yeah...my ET day is scheduled for Saturday, lets hope all things are well so we both get to do ETs on our scheduled days.

Hello All,

On Friday I began my Lupron shots I must say that are not bad at all.

From what the doctor said it looks like my ER will be during the week of the 20th.

I will definitely keep you all posted.

Hope that everyone who had ER / ET this weekend are doing well.

FET went great. Both embryos thawed beautifully. Hopefully they are neslting in nicely!

I really want to POAS already! This 2ww thing is awful! My beta isn't for another 2 full weeks -but I'll definitely POAS before that.... probbaly in a week....

Sorry to crash your thread - but I wanted to offer you a big hug and I think you made the right decision on transferring both blasts! You'll be getting your bfp in no time now. Congrats on being PUPO!!

easley - yay! 5 fertilized is great! Are you going to do a day 5 transfer if you can? How many embryos are you going to transfer, if all goes well?

AFM - nothing new! 2ww are boring if nothing else.... I really want to POAS already! I'll try to hold out until Friday (5dp5dt).... although Sunday would be smarter... I'm not very good with willpower!

My RE office called this morning and are going to tentatively schedule me for a 3 day transfer for tomorrow around 1:15 but if they look at things tomorrow and all 5 still look good then they will change it to a 5 day. I would rather do a 5 day. But we shall see! We are leaning towards putting back 2. I am feeling very nervous but excited too.

Hi ladies, just a quick update.. My et went well. All 4 embies made it to 3 day with a grade of 3 or 'b' ...2 of which were 6cell and the other 2 were 7 cell. So because of the quality.. Doc suggested transferring all 4 to give us the best chances for success (even with all 4 its still around a 40% chance). Hope she's right cus dh and I agreed. So now I'm gonna relax and take it easy for a few days hoping these guys nestle in nicely. So that's it for me... Thinking of u gals and hoping you're all well

Mishell - congrats on your ET - hopefully one of those embryos is snuggling in tight! Did the RE have any answers as to why your embryos weren't of better quality?

Update on me:

Out of the 6 eggs collected, 5 were mature, and all 5 fertilised! YEAH!!!! NOW i hope to god they grow and divide nicely and that we have 2 good looking blastocysts come ET day on Saturday.

Layla~ Great news!!! I hope those cells keep on dividing for you!!! I'm really hopeful that I will get a good fert report today as well. Saturday can't come soon enough!

Layla...I like to pretend I feel symptoms, but I really don't know! I had surgery over the summer that left me with a c-section scar, and it is feeling funny. No better way to describe it but funny. And yesterday I was really crampy, but that's about it. Still alittle crampy today, slight twinges every now and again, but nothing hugely noticable. I had hoped to hold out until Saturday to POAS, but of course I already started. Obviously there's nothing there yet, but we shall see in the days to come!

I read some talk about icsi. We did icsi and ah(assisted hatching) but I wondered why we even needed to do icsi with my husbands spermies not being that bad at all.. When I asked re she said she recommends it if some of the sperm were oddly shaped. So I think it helps for more reasons than we think.

Am I the only one on bedrest at this point? Leora/Ryann.. Are you gals on bedrest or or u back to normalcy already?

Hi everybody,

So I had my ET today, 2 perfect 8 cell little beans! I even got a picture of them . They are going to watch the 3rd till friday and if all still looks good then off to the freezer it goes! So I am finally offically PUPO!!! Our first beta isn't until the 20th so I am going to try and hold off POAS till the 14th. I heard this is the worst, waiting! I will be on bedrest for the next couple of days.


How is everyone else holding up? What new stuff/appts are happening?

This is sooooooooooo exciting....some of us already in 2ww and some heading into ETs and some just starting!!! hehehe

Here is my Day 2 embryo report-

2 x embryos are 2 cells
2 x embryos are 3 cells
1 x embryo is at 4 cell

The embryologist told me that at Day 2 they expect the embryos to be anywhere between 2-4 cells. So im hoping my little embryos keep on dividing! PLEASE GOD!

Dahlias - let me know your embryo reports as we are ETs on the same day!!! thinking of you.....how are your embies???

rypell1985 - keep thinking positive....i would definitely expect two lines on POAS soon!!!! c-section scar? jeez, thats pretty horrible surgery! Are you OK? Are you sore? I also have a c-section scar...but from my DD (all worth it!).

easley4 - congrats to you! 8 cells for Day 3 embryos is perfect! YEAH!!! hope they stick and grow!!! Your beta is 2 days before mine, lets hope we both get BFP!!!

Ryann - I wish I know that what I'm feeling is related to this 2ww. I keep feeling twinges and little cramps, but I think it's all in my head (or just things that happen all the time but I'm not paying attention).

My official beta date is Sunday Dec 19, but the doctor noticed that was wrong when he did the 5 day transfer. So he said to head in 2 days before that - which is a Friday. My clinic is closed Fri/Sat (we have Fri/Sat weekends here - Sunday is a regular workday, like Monday in the USA) - so I'm going to see if they'll let me come in on Thurs Dec 16. If my HPTs are positive, I don't mind waiting for Sunday Dec 19, if they're negative, I'll probably try to get in ASAP and get the BFN over with (the worst is the time between knowing you are BFN from HPTs but still waiting for the beta).

I POAS today - Waaaaaaayyyyyy too early! I'm only 3dp5dt (8dpo). I was hoping... but oh well. BFN. Hopefully I'll POAS again ina few days and see 2 lines!
