Scan all fine - one happy Tracey!!!

Post by Tracey S »

WEll another one goes and 29 wks tomorrow - yikes where does it all go?!!! I remember thinking yeh right you lot of know it alls going on about how time crawls and then just disappears............ you can do the told you so bit anytime you want

Scan was fine - had to wait ages as one lady's baby had died - looked to me around 20-24 wks so all hands on deck and through everything out.

Our two are fine - one is def head down cephalic and the other is breach - one has her head in the others bottom - told them had arranged the nursery like that so won't feel out of place
Both sizes are ahead of their dates and are only 1mm difference in abdomen size and heads exactlyt the same. They weigh 3lb now so good weights! Won't be here in the next 2-4 wks they reckon as fluid etc all fine so one good scan under the belt! HAve now arranged a hospital tour for 4 wks time - hope they don't come before that and a STORKS's session for multiple parents to be - but that is July 4th - mmmmmmmmmm take a view on that one.
Thanks for the support - catch you all later but food beckons!
Love
Tracey

Hi Tracey

Fantastic news!! I am so relieved that you got another scan out of the way. Looks like your little tumble hasn't affected the babies which is a relief.

Thanks for the text. I was wondering how it all went and then my phone beeped. Poor lady who's baby died, I bet it sent you in a flap!

The girls seem like good weights too, must be all that chocolate

Thanks you lot - you are lovely!
Phil to answer your question - yes I have a scan in 4 weeks - another of the same - doppler and growth scan just to make sure. Not sure this might not be the last one though - we were discussing it in the car on the way home - if everything ok then it will be!

Dagny - yep must be the choccie - recommend it but not on the 2ww - I will be keeping an eye on you.

I have now come home and dropped my mobile down the toilet and had to fish it out - is absolutely bolloxed - sorry Marcus so have had to order another and they don't do that one now............... and have saved most of my numbers in the phone bit not the sim card but can't get on to swap them over etc etc.................. - it's so annoying! Need to convert everything over but it just won't turn on and no phoneless for a few days as bank holiday Monday.................... and the freezer if broken - well the drawers so can't shut the dam thing and chunter chunter chunter!

That poor lady - it did bring it back - nobody else noticed but I knew something was a miss as the queues today were horrendous - the back log enormous which does happen in PAC as they are high risk pg's, recurrent m/c's and ladies who have babies with problems etc so the scans can go on a bit.
This girl came out - I mean she must have been 18 if that and I could see my consultant trying to free up a room and her mum saying are you ok? She was not in tears and just said yeh I am fine and started chatting but I just knew - having been there before. HAd had my scan so all ok - hope that does not sound selfish. I then had to see another consultant who explained that my consultant had been called in to a room as some tragic news had arisen and a lady had lost her baby! I knew!!!! He was a twit and had a soh bypass - I ran 4 of my best quips past him and not a flicker!
Anyway must stop rambling
Love

Well done Tracey for your latest scan. Sounds fantastic and I can't wait to get to get to that point. Do you have more scans cos its twins? I am not sure what happens after 12 weeks.
I had my 6 and a half week scan today and it was very emotional. One healthy heartbeat and I feel so much better

good luck

Tracey - I love it when you ramble!! LOL

Poor lady - it;s horrible when you see the queues and automatically you think things are wrong...

As for you and your phone - I'm sorry, I laughed as I read your post  It just gives you an excuse to get a new one!! I bought one of those camera ones the other week - even more pics of Sam!! Highly recommended...

OOOOOOOO Zoe a camera one that is what they are sending me - a Nokia one - free upgrade - said I didn't want one of those as more bits to get wet down the toilet (actually did not say that as did not want them to know I dropped it down there anyway  ) but said no as too many bits - he then said it is the closest to your now so I thought fine send it then!!!! you remember hormones when you are pg don't you Zoe!

Tanya - thanks and glad all ok with you - another relief isn't it. Yes you do get more with twins as they have to check growth but I would have had more anyway even with one because of last time................. If you have had your NT (nuchal ) at 12 wks then the next tends to be 20 weeks for the big anomoly scan when they check everything in working order for bubs. That's generally your lot then!
Good luck

Great news about the scan, Tracey. It sounds like you'll get two more scans before you meet your girls - in 4 weeks and 8 weeks.

Now I know why I don't really use my mobile much, if dropping it down the toilet is a prerequisite of twin pregnancies!

Excellent news Tracey

glad everything is going so well and really good sizes to.

Well I am off to Scotland for a wedding, had to ring round the hospitals to see which one was the nearest but make sure that it wasn't midwifery led. Hope all is okay while I am there!!!

Take care

Thank you all for the replies. Jules does it come with twin pg's do you thin - mind you I was mad as a badger before!!! Today trying to fish out Gabbie's ball from the pond and fell in - so looked like the incredible hulk! Yikes getting worse.
CAz - they are due August 13th but yes do often than not come early as run out of room. Lisa hope the wedding does not set them off or they will be born in Scotland - not that there is anything wrong with that but a long commute
Helen - wouldn't it be funny if they were born the same day - let's see how things progress - but we are so close in dates and size etc - great isn't it.
I am going to attempt to do some washing of baby clothes and sheets today etc - Jules and Nikola made me feel I should

Love to you all

Tracey, :D
You are such a nutter, you make me laught.......
1. Why was you using the phone when on the LOO people can hear you,
2. bending over pond? with a weable body, no wonder you fell in.

Girl you really need to rest, your babies may arrive sooner than you think the way you are carrying on....

So glad the scan went well, but you must relex you are nearly at the end now, so get plenty of rest.

Joshua is still as lovley as ever....I just want to eat him all up, in fact if he was made of chocolate I probley would have
He is feeding every 3 1/2-4 hours which is great and is now 6 7oz nearly back to birth weight has he lost 10oz, but he is doing great and we go back to the hospital on the 12th June to see the baby doctor.
We have been signed off now from the midwife, so we are on our own, but to be honest I have had no probs, SO FAR !!.
I can hear him stiring so must go,
Mummy's comming...................
Love and take care
Wibbsxxx Joshua :D
