Good grief  What are you lot like - more  you test my hormones to the extreme.

I know for a fact you are all delighted at being finally pg - some of you with longer journeys than others and you better get used to some nice attention for a change and blow your own trumpets etc whilst you can. Also for all of us very pg ladies (and all those not as nosey as me who don't read all the threads) I am putting this up for more good news!!!!!!!!!!

YEH TANYA'S SCAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEre goes:

Hello

Well I had my 6 and 1/2 week scan today and it was so emotional. One healthy heartbeat, 5.5mm everything as it should be.

I have been told to carry on two weeks more with the horrible pessaries.

I am also craving carbs but still have no other symptoms. I put on quite a few pounds from all the drugs before even finding out I was pg. But I am going to make the effort at least to do some exercise.

We go on holiday next week so I am going to eat so much!

love Tanya

TAnya

Posted elsewhere - can't remember where am all over the shop My scan post I think! Wanted to say congrats and well done and what a relief hey - so all your lot are ok - phew I can breathe for a bit until your next set of questions. Like Zoe says forget the pounds (the kilos will look after themselves! - only joking!) you have a great excuse and often it is the only way to relieve the sickness and then once that is gone you have stretched your stomach so much it expects more You will then have a 12 wk scan and a 20 so bubs will grow loads. The pessaries are a sod aren't they - mine leave us on them until past 8 wks - 8-9 and god they drive me crazy but all in a good cause. TAke care

Hello

Thanks for giviing me my own thread. i thought that was only for those of you who had been here a long time and knew each other, as I only joined recently. So I feel very honoured!

Actually I have still had no hint of sickness and have been told that maybe I will be one of th lucky ones. I have just received flowers from DPs Dad. he is so excited as its his first blood grandchild. he has three from his new wife's kids but that is like step grandchildren!

I also got a call from my sister today as she is in Greece with her DP, my niece and nephew , my dad and her Dps parents. She just wanted to know how things went!

Anyway, I am now feeling so much more confident and looking forward to the next few months

love Tanya

hey dont worry about no sickness thing - just enjoy. I am making up for your share !!
but its worth it.
FORGET about the pounds - I am trying to!! As tracey say carbs seems to be the only thing that stems off the sickness for me - so goodness knows what I'll look like in a bit!! Hee hee!!

Anyway - enjoy your holiday - BOY do you deserve it - and revel in the attention. So pleased for you

Tanya

So glad your scan went well. It is so great to see the heartbeat.
Like the rest of the girls have said time does fly. After 12wks it goes even quicker.
Don't worry about weight, once you get the bump you really don't care. The bigger the better i say.

Enjoy being pg
