oh margi i dont know if its just me or my hormones..its just different i eat and after eating, you feel like you wanna throw everything you take in. ive never been pregnant before so i really dont know what its like. i havent heard the heartbeat yet, and sometimes even with a + beta or BFP, it doesnt give me an assurance that im preggers...

riogirl- i did call the nurse and she said its normal and ok as long as theres not a lot of bleeding and no cramping. its actually more of dark brown, and she said it is implantation and sometimes just an irritation in the vaginal canal and cervix when i insert my suppositories... im excited for you for tmorrow...hope everything goes well....baby dust to us all....

DJ-BJ, I'm sorry your feeling so sick. Have you asked your RE for some Zofran? That is supposed to work wonders on nausea during pregnancy. It's worth a try if it's not getting any better.

Rio, thinking of you...I know you are anxious for tomorrow, and especially anxious for good news...praying that you get it.

Anna, how's that wait coming? It's miserable right :) Hang in there, we are rooting for you!

I have a week and a half to go until I get to have an ultrasound...it's terribly nerve wracking to not know whether to plan on a summer baby or not...waiting till 7 weeks sucks, but so does the alternative of going early and seeing enough...then agonize over it. Not sure which is worse?

Anyway, thinking of you all....give us an update. Haven't heard from many of you for a while...what's up?? :)

Sorry to leave you all hanging all day yesterday. I went to the US and obviously got some bad news. The gestational sac was still there but only measured a mm vigger than last week, and still had nothing inside. NP said to stop meds and wait for miscarriage. If no bleeding in next 10 days Ill have to go back and see if I need a D & C. Thanks for all the thoughts and kind words. Hoping Rio ends up with much better news!

Oh Blair I am so sorry. I have no words. Having undergone the same thing I can relate and the pain is terrible- this is terribly unfair. I wish I could give you words of comfort but all I know is that sometimes unfortunately an embyo is not viable but it does not mean that if you try again it wont be completely a normal pregnancy. I watched Sonya go through 2 blighted ovums and now she is pregnant again and everything is great. So take all the time you need and come back and try again and we will be here to cheer you on. Again I am so sorry and I am here if you want to talk. ((((Big Hugs))))

Blair - I cannot tell you enough how sorry I am for what happened. I feel guilty posting here after your post but I hope you are ok with that. I also have to thank you for being great support and I am glad we could be there for each other. I really pray you will get your miracle.

Seriously - can you believe this? I have been in a complete panic over seeing a sac and nothing else in the last week and today I get the shock of my life, two heartbeats!
I am in complete shock and DH is scared out of his mind! I was looking so hard at the monitor and I saw a flicker and asked is that a hearbeat? And OB said yep, it sure is, so I was crying tears of joy and squeezing DH's hand when OB said, I see two hearts beating   Whaaaaaaaaaaaat? He said they both measure fine, I don't even remember a number or anything but he said they are both perfect and both hearts beating. I am still in disbelief. Then OB commented, a lot can change in week huh? WOW, I need to digest this news. I am so happy! Thank you girls for all of your support and prayers!

Wow Rio what awesome news! I am so excited and happy for you. Was it two sacs or two heartbeats in one sac? Identical?

I am pretty sure they seemed like two sacs and two babies but super close together. So close together I thought it was just one baby with a sac on each side. I am still in shock!

Thank you!

So strange how I can be SO DELIGHTED for someone I've never met - Riogirl, congratulations. You have made my day.

Blair, I am so sorry for your news, but forgive me if I don't agree with your RE. I don't see why you should stop your meds or give up hope--yet. If your transfer was Nov. 8, then you're at 6w2d (right?), which is exactly when I had my first ultrasound showing an empty sac. My large sac was considered a bad sign. Is your sac within normal range for your dates? We had much worse betas than yours, we stayed on our meds, and at 7w2d we saw everything, and now I'm 23 weeks along with a healthy baby. Obviously I have no expertise, just my own limited experience, but at a site called "Misdiagnosed Miscarriage" there are tons of hopeful stories like mine. It really does happen. Remember the vast majority of healthy pregnancies are not monitored at this time either. They might show "empty" sacs at 6 weeks too--who knows?

Of course it's possible, maybe even likely, that you'll miscarry. I don't want to give you hope if you'd rather move on. I just happen to believe that hope is better than despair, even when your odds are not fantastic. My odds were not fantastic. Please consider asking your RE if you can stay on the meds for another week.

Patatina _ thank you so much your story kept me going!

Blair - I sent you a PM and I actually agree with patatina. Seriously look at what happened in a week with me, we never even saw that second sac. Had it just been that baby I would have thought I wasn't even pregnant. A lot changes in one week and patatina's story is a good one. Your sac was a good size, even better than mine. I am also not trying to give you false hope but I do think your RE is quick to judge. There was one girl here with a beta of 7 and RE told her to stop meds and she didn't and she ended up with twins. Maybe you should ask for an ultrasound for next week to confirm and then stop meds?

Rio- Congrats on such great news. I am glad things worked out and you can feel relieved from all that unneccessary worrying you did.

AFM- Thanks for all the support but since the sac measured 11.2 Friday, and only 12.1 yesterday there really isnt much room for hope. It should have grown 1mm every day and at this point (from the LMP) I would actually be 7wk2d today...and since it was only measuring 5wk6d I think its a lost cause. I agree that sometimes the RE jump too fast, but I think in this case they are right. I appreciate all the support and hopefully I can convince DH to try again in January. Until then I may take a break from the board and try to re-focus my attention on school or work.

Blair - I will still pray for a miracle for you. THank you for everything and I wish things turned out different for you. I hope to see you here under a big BFP on your next cycle. Much luck, love and baby dust, maybe even a natural miracle?
