Pls share sucess stories after low beta

I am paranoid right now. RE just called, its BFP but beta is only 16. I am scheduled for another beta on Thursday. Hoping that the numbers double.

I want my little embies to snuggle up in me and be healthy little baby.

Trying to keep PMA, but the tears just wont stop.

Please share success stories after low beta. I really need encouragement and support.

I read your post and my heart aches for you. Not because your fate is sealed, but because I know how painful limbo is. I remember reading on another forum about a woman whose first beta was 19 and her second, 40, who had a baby girl. I'll be hoping the very best for you.

Keep the hope alive. You can't tell anything till the second beta is done and see how it rises. Then even if it rises correctly, u still won't know still you see the heartbeat. If I am counting correctly you are on day 15 so a beta of 16 is low but you never know what might happen. I have seen some really weird stuff happen in 2+ years I have been on the IVF boards.

I think my first beta was a 36, and that was at 15dpo (a day later than normal b/c my beta fell on christmas day). My beta slowly rised, not doubling everytime (they really only look for a 60% increase) so don't freak out. My beautiful daughter is now 2. Don't ever lose hope. Good luck on your next beta!

To have fun- yeah I was 14dpo beta at 16. It is low. I hope mine is one of the "weird" stories that will be shared The heartache seems like unending. After all that IVF ladies have to go thru, we take a sigh of relief, only when we have heard the first cry of our precious baby...longest 9 months!

Beta 38 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It doubled!!
I know, I know its still low...BUT it doubled
Progesterone is 58.
Next Beta on Monday....thats soooo far away!

Rio- should I still hope and pray for beta doubling, or its ok to get crazy huge number?
I want to visualize "some number range" but don't know what to focus on.
