( I'm too f*cking depressed to do personals) - 12dpo (7dp5dt) for me and not even a hint of a second line with FMU. I've always gotten my BFPs by now. I know that y'all are going to be nice and say "late implanter", "frosties implant late", "faulty test", "too early to test".... but I'm going with my gut on this one and saying BFN. I'll probably POAS again tomorrow and if it's BFN, I'll call my clinic and lie that I started to bleed, can I pretty please get my beta earlier. I know they won't do it before 14"dpo"... so I'm stuck until Tuesday at the earliest. I hate this part - when you know in your heart that it didn't work, but you can't rule it out completely. This sense of hope keeps you going for a few days when you feel like falling apart - and then the real BFN hits you so hard.... sometimes I wonder why I like to POAS.... maybe it would be better to be unknowingly PUPO until I have definite results from a blood test.... but then again, there is always the hope of an early BFP...

I'm dying on the inside. I want so badly to stop... but I just can't. I know that we will do another cycle. How can we not? Ugh. And worst of all, we said that we would take a vacation if this cycle didn't work, but now I can't get off of work because someone was fired and the other person is leaving for maternity leave! grrr.r....

Leorira - I will just say this - I am praying for you & hoping with everything crossed that you are wrong & you do have a BFP. Try to keep busy & stay positive I know it is hard but you just never know - you ever watch the show I didn't even know I was pregnant? They all POAS and never test positive and still all are. Sending lots of PMA your way ----

Leora- I'm so sorry to hear you are worrying yourself about bfn's. I ran into this site about 2ww symtpoms but I hope it gives you some hope because there are many women out there that don't get bfp's until 13-16dpo. Please read some of their timelines.. Hope it helps.. =]

Well, I am officially PUPO! This is the first time in my life that I have actually had a chance at becoming pregnant and it really is nerve wracking. Our embies really slowed down after day 3 and when we transferred yesterday at 5 days, the best was an early blast. I was really hoping for a better report, but I suppose things can change very quickly during this whole process. Anyway, the next week is going to be torture as I await my beta.

Leora - I'm thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your direction. This process is just so overwhelming.

Ryann - Congrats on your BFP!

To the rest of you awaiting retrieval, transfer, and betas, I wish you all the best!

Hello I found this thread by pure chance looking up how to calculate how far along I am. I have gone through and read all the posts so I hope I am not intruding. I had my FET done Nov. 18th had my first beta dec.2 which was 100 and then again on the dec 6. it was 400 so I did get a BFP yeah!!! I go Thurs. for my first ultrasound which I am very nervous about. I will give a brief background on my issues. I have had 7 miscarriages most recent being last year when we did our fresh IVF first and only one I did good had a few good eggs we put 3 in and got pregos with 3. Miscarried at 8 wks again I only get that far ever. So we waited and I was ready for the FET and now I am on steroids which I have done research that is supposed to help the uterus not form antibodies tht=at kill the baby so to speak. I have PCOS, I have the clotting disorder and all in all just unexplained infertility. I am 34 yo and hubby is 36 he is fine he says he has super sperm so nothing it wrong with him its all me. We are parying this is the time for us cause it will be the last. I do feel different this time more symptoms which is good so we shall see. I don't have your names down yet but good luck guys and stay positive is the best I can say we go through way too much to get down on ourselves. I know better said then done trust me been there done that but we just want one little thing that seems to beyond our control. So head up and look forward no matter what happens. Look forward to chatting with you guys.

So we transferred two beautiful hatching blastocysts today - the RE & Embryologist were extremely optimistic and said they looked exactly as we want them to look. So here's hoping. We also should have at least 5 to freeze so that gives us comfort - the procedure ran into some bumps so they had to almost knock me out I am still a little groggy but feeling optimistic.

Thanks for all your support girls & now I join you all on the 2ww wait and I am officially PUPO!!!!!!! Long Road! :D

Leora, I'm so sorry that it didn't work out for you this month. That REALLY sucks. I hope that you have the resources, internal and otherwise, to shore yourself up and keep going. This is our 7th try (5 IUIs and now on the second IVF), so I understand how truly shitty it is when it doesn't work out. I do hope that you get to take a break. This process is crazy-making sometimes, and a bit of time off isn't a bad thing if you can get it. Best wishes to you and yours.

Katie, lots of good stick thoughts your way :) Welcome to the tww!

Jen, congrats on your BFP and best of luck! I'm on steroids (Prednisone), too, and am hoping that the serious case of munchies that I have ALL of the time will be worth it...

Dhalias, oh good luck! A lot of great things can start out a bit slowly. As my doc kept reminding me, they've knocked up people at my clinic with c-grade embryos.

Ryann, thank you for being so positive :) and huge congrats on your BFP!

Txcplforivp, my two cents on the retrieval. I've had two - one just awful (cause I was anxious, afraid and didn't really know what was going on), and one that was really pretty good (this last one). They only sedate where I'm from (no general anesthetic), so the best things to do if you are going to be conscious during the procedure that I can recommend (after learning from experience from my first ER) are: an hour before you're scheduled to go in, take two extra strength Tylenol, keep yourself as warm and relaxed as you can the morning of the procedure - if you've got some calm music that you can play to get you into the right headspace that might help, focus on your breathing when you start to get anxious - slow it right down and imagine it going in and out, and maybe most importantly, remember why you're there. The procedure's not pleasant, but it's over relatively quickly and it's for a really good reason. To work through the painful parts, if there are any, focus on the big picture. Try and imagine they joy you'll feel with the children that the clinic is helping you bring into the world. And again, focus on your breathing - sounds hokey, but it really does help. Good luck and don't be nervous. The anticipation sometimes is far worse than reality.

And as for me, today I'm 4dp5dt. I'm kind of crampy so really worried that I'm getting my period :( Going to turn that part of my brain off for a little while tho, and go out and get a Christmas tree. Supposed to drop to -20C here tonight, so we're all bundled up - best time of year to be TTC as almost everything covers the progesterone bloat!

Cheers, everyone!

I am truly dying...cant POAS! argh! i might start POAS on friday (this is 3 days after my last Pregynl injection, which is today)....which i know will be positive. Then again saturday, sunday, monday and tuesday...beta is Wednesday.
