Margi...You're right no news from me...means BFN. I'm not really surprised, but I'm still really disappointed and hurt. I have been praying hard for you all weekend...but like I said, I really dont think you will ovulate and that nurse was wrong to worry you. Did you actually speak to your doctor yet...he needs to know how she treated you. Good Luck today and keep us posted. Where are you located? What time is your appt? I need to know when to start stalking the board. lol

Leora...Great Big Hugs sweety. This whole process sucks. I thought I saw a line on my tests on Sat and today, but did the inverting thing at this website and there is nothing there. http://www.canyouseealine.com/hpt_invert_tool.cfm I just did your test too and tried to save the picture to post, but it didnt save. I'm sorry, but I dont see anything on yours inverted either. FET's are known late implanters and you never get your BFP till 12dpo...so hold out hope for 1 more day...it wouldnt surprise me that you get a positive tomorrow. Ok? Thanks for starting the winter cycle. I'm unsure if we are done at this point and if I will be joining you...but I will check in for sure to say hello and root you all on.

Chelle...Congrats on a great retrieval. Rest up and drink that gatorade. Cant wait to hear the fert report.

Ana...Congrats! That is truely wonderful news!

Kelly...The one thing that I've learned is that when I had 12 a couple of years ago and 8 fertilize and grow vs these past few months when I get 4 or 5 eggs and they are all mature and fertilize or I lose only 1 of them. So you should be just fine. The numbers sound great for them all to be mature, fertilize, and grow. I think you absolutely made the right decision. Good Luck today!!! Keep us posted! Klinger...I think it is pretty cool that you and your mom are pregnant together. It would be sooo cool if my SIL/BFF and I were pregnant together, but it doesnt look like that is going to happen. At least our kids will only be 2 yrs and 9 months apart and will be somewhat close. The other 14 kids in the family are 9 yrs old and up, except 1 and he is almost 6 yrs old...and hangs with the older kids, not little Zach. Poor Zach is pretty lonely. Mishell...10dpo? How is your 2ww going?

AFM: I thought I saw something Saturday, inverted it and nothing. Nothing Sunday, so I didnt take the progesterone shot Sunday night, itchiness and huge lumps and negative sticks. Yep, good decision. But, then this morning, I thought I might see something again. But, inverted it again...and nothing is there. I am pretty sure that I have just taken sooo many tests now that I know exactly where that line should be and can see the evaporation line...where as most people cant see it. Bill sees nothing. Anyhow, I'm calling in a few minutes to get approval to go get my beta done this morning. The only problem is that the roads are a sheet of ice and schools are closed. We are expecting another foot of snow on top of the ice, too. Bill had to still go into work/school because their contracts are as such that custodians still have to go in from 6-10am...plus that school has a boiler heating system and needs to be heated around the clock. Bill has his boilers license. Major overtime right now with the below 0 temps with wind chills. Bill actually spent the night there Saturday night and almost all day Sunday, too. He has to go back at 2pm today and work 5 more hours and then again at 10:00 tonight, too. It's crazy. The good news is that he can walk to work, but I feel really bad about his coworkers who it takes them over an hour with bad roads to get in and to work only a few hours and then have to drive over and hour home again on bad roads.

So anyhow, if the roads are a little bit better at 10am...Bill is going to take me to get my beta done.

I did a *BAD* thing... I called my clinic and LIED. I said I started bleeding. So I get to go in for my beta tomorrow. I don't feel so bad - my clinic does very late betas (17dpo) and I've always waited the full time. But my grandmother is visiting and I'm super busy.... I can't deal with the stress anymore. So in about 24 hours I'll know definite news, one way or the other....


Tammy - I'm so sorry to hear about your BFN. Hopefully we'll both get surprise betas - or at least have the strength to do whatever comes next. Big big hugs to you.

Leora...I'm glad you called your clinic to get tested tomorrow. My clinic does the same as yours...wayyy too long. I put my call in and she said a nurse will call me back after 11am...and I asked that they call as soon as possible and she made me explain why and gave me a hard time. I told her I didnt take my shot last night, which is true. So I really need to get my beta done, now. I hope they call soon. Did you invert your pee stick? Pretty cool tool. Everyone should put that in their favorites. I just found it. I've heard about it, but never had a link. I cant tell my clinic that I started bleeding cause then I would be expected to go in tomorrow for a baseline, IF we decide to go again. Personally, Leora...I think you should just keep going, but that is me. It helps me to feel like I am doing something. However, losing a few pounds is good too...but honestly, I've also heard that you shouldnt do a weight loss thing right before a cycle. You want your body to be normal, not doing something different than the norm.

Amanda...Doing ok, I guess. Hoping to go do beta here within the next 2 hrs. I'll know in about 4 more hours.

Tammy...I'm sorry that you are so sure its a BFN. I hate that you know your body so well. Didn't you say you wuold only go until the end of the year and that you could still maybe fit one more cycle in??? Let us know how your beta goes and what you decide. Big hugs.

Leora....I'm sorry you feel so sure that you lied. I'm glad, though, that if it is a BFN you can get the beta over with and move on. Big hugs to you too.

Chelle...congrats on 16 eggs! Can' wait to hear your fertility report! I had a lot of cramping after ER too and I only had 7 eggs! Hopefully it subsides for you soon!

Thank you all for the congrats. I am allowing myself to be totally excited even though my beta isn't until wednesday. My line is getting darker so that has to be a good thing. DH allowed himself to google and learned all about chemical pregnancies so now he is all worried about. Grr...I wish he could just let me be excited. I told him that once our doc tells us we are pregnant he has to chill out and let me be excited.

Fertilization reports show 8 fertilized. I know not all will make it to day 5 and I know not all will be boys. So I guess, as much as it sucks, I need to prepare myself for another round. If I have the money. Kind of a hard day with slow internet, and stuck home. I hate to watch TV and .. well.. I'm just grouchy now.

Tammy & Leora: I so hope that you are both wrong and get your BFP surprise betas. But as you both know, one of the main reason I do POAS is to be prepared for the negative...which it seems you both are. Still. Miracle surprises do happen and I hope for that for both of you.

AFM? Well--good news is I didn't O this weekend! But, my lining is very think (13) and on my left I have 2-18mm and 1-20 (it was 23X6 now 20X12?--I think it was really squished on Friday as my entire ovary was). And I think 9 >10mm; 12 <10mm. She told me to trigger this morning for IUI tomorrow morning. I said, don't you want to wait for E2 levels? possible stimm a day or two more to bring up that bunch of 9? And she said no--need to move ahead so don't lose this cycle. I am so upset about this cycle. I left in tears, but I guess there is nothing to do except move forward and hope for the best. I guess my lining could get too think if we kept stimming? I had to rush to work, so I couldn't pitch too much of a fit demanding to see the doctor, but tomorrow I plan to ask to see him to discuss this cycle. I asked her to please call me with the E2 levels--when she says it doesn't matter--so at least I KNOW. Sheesh. So--there I am. Not too happy because I feel like those 9 follies are just being wasted and at my age--I don't have any to waste!!

I plan to continue my self-pity party the rest of the day--and possibly the night. Then tomorrow I have to wake up feeling positive and try to send positive vibes to those dear follies in my left ovary (there were 4 ripe-sized on my Right that will just be wasted. ) I will need to refocus and feel positive about being PUPO again. For the 6th time.

Margi....CALL YOUR DOCTOR NOW!!! You need to get answers. I see that you have a 20, 2-18's, and a 16 which is the squished one. There is no reason why you can not stim 1 more day. I hate your clinic. Why are they not giving you something to keep you from ovulating till it is time either?! Please call your doc and get his opinion and answers before triggering.

Also...why are you triggering and going in 24 hrs later? Are they doing 2 days of IUI?

Margi - argh - frustrating... Tammy and I are going to go kick his butt! I also don't undertand why 24 hours, I thought it was 36 hours later? I hope you at least had fun BDing and who knows this stressful cycle might surprise you! You need to keep the PMA, you are doing the best you can... I hear ya on not wasting follies!

Tammy - sorry you think it is a BFN. I am still holding out hope that it becomes a BFP for you. If you do get a BFN are you trying again? If you are, have you considered a 3 month break for DHEA? yeah I am a big time DHEA pusher. My cycle before I had 6 poor little follicles and only 3 mature. 3 mos later after DHEA, co enzimeq10 and full fat dairy, my antagonist cycle produced 14 eggs. I know you really want a companion for Zach and it might be worth a try. I am still praying for your BFP!

Chelle - What are you doing with the girls, freezing or discarding? If you get all girls you are not transfering any?

Ok--of course Monday is my most busy day of work of the week--which is TOTALLY interferring with my need to stress, google and check in with you ladies. (I hate when work does that . I guess because I am getting paid I am supposed to focus or some such thing.)

Anyway--gotta make it brief. I triggered. Had to. So that part is done--no going back there. Tammy, I also don't understand why I am going in 24 hours later. I know initially this doctor had said something about double IUIs not being any more successful than singles, but I intend to ask. If y'all think there is research to support me pushing for a second insemination, I most definitely will.

Good news is my E2 level is nice and high--3389. The nurse who called me (the nice one that saw me leave in tears and promised to call me) said she thinks things look good. That although they didn't measure all the ones that were >10 from her looking at the u/s pictures--she thinks a few are likely mature on the left. Especially with my high E2.

So--maybe I should end my pity party early and try to think positively? I am still mad--but I can be mad and hopeful, right?

Tammy--I really trust your instincts. I totally want to know why he wouldn't add an antagonist and let some more grow--and why I wasn't seen Sunday, and why I am having IUI after 24 hours--but truth is there isn't much I can change now for this cycle. BUT--if we need (and are financially able) to do another cycle I need those answers before we move forward.
