Thanks Patatina. Just one more day till I get my 3rd Beta. The sore boobs were keeping me sane while I dont have any other symptoms. I wish I was throwing up big time, maybe that would be a good reassurance that I am pregnant and all is well.

I agree with Rio! Don't go wishing to throw up! I did that and at 20 weeks, I'm still at it! Now I'm just hoping I can trade throwing up for fetal movement! That's got to be better right?

Babydreamz-
Congrats on your doubled beta number! BTW- you are NOT loony, you are perfectly normal. It is just this crazy waiting that makes us do 'crazy' things, which are actually the only things keeping us sane in the meantime. Anyway, lots of luck on your 3rd beta, waiting to hear great news , please G-d.

Try this one calculator it is pretty reliable, doubling time is anywhere between 31 and 72 hours so 56 hours fits into the ok category, are they testing you again? The importan tthing is that is keeps growing at a rate between 31 and 72 hours, congratulations!

I am really scared, I know I shouldn't be coz its, 56 hours doubling, not that bad, right
RE has scheduled for beta AND ultrasound,I will be 5w3d pregnant by then, but if the beta is low but still doubles, what can they expect to see?
According to the link doubling time is 56.26.
Thanks Rio. In my heart of heart I was expecting a huge number like 400 or something

Baby - I really don't know why your RE scheduled an US so early. If you are 124 today, 248 on Wednesday, 500 on Friday it might still be too early to see anything...
In the majority of pregnancies, a sac should be visible when levels exceed 2,000. A yolk sac is commonly seen in normal pregnancies once hCG tops 2,500; an embryonic pole is expected at 5,000; and a heartbeat is seen in the majority of normal pregnancies when levels reach 10,000.
In general, the HCG level will double every 2-3 days in early pregnancy.
85% of normal pregnancies will have the HCG level double every 72 hours.
HCG levels peak at about 8-10 weeks of pregnancy and then decline, remaining at lower levels for the rest of the pregnancy.
There is a large variation in a "normal" HCG level for any given time in pregnancy.
Some normal pregnancies will have quite low levels of HCG - and deliver perfect babies. Caution must be used in making too much of HCG "numbers". Ultrasound findings after 5-6 weeks of pregnancy are much more predictive of pregnancy outcome than are HCG levels.
