For me I know it's AF that is arriving. I was just thinking of the song it's beginning to look a bit like Christmas, but instead of Christmas it's AF!!! I knew I should have done it on Sunday when ovulatinf instead of Saturday....oh well. Seriously though, 12+ eggs and nothing??? Anyway I go for 3 day blood when AF is here full force. Then I go on BCP and I guess I will do my last cycle when I get yet another AF. Since my D&C October 28, I have had more AF days than non-AF days.....gross!

Thanks for starting this thread. I was in on the fall group and got a BFN. We have one frostie and will be doing an FET the first of the year. I'm thinking I'll get started on meds w/ my next cycle, which should be Dec 31st or thereabout.

This will be it for us. Several things we factored in to make the decision to move on after this FET. The biggest is $$. We really don't have the $$ for another fresh cycle and while there's a chance we could make it work (it would be VERY VERY tight) I just can't fathom spending the $$ for another BFN. Another big factor for us is my dh's age. He's 50 now. So we'll do this FET and pray it works and if it doesn't, find a way to move on.

I'm so glad I decided to pop in today. I haven't been to the boards here in a while and just decided tonight to pop in and see how everyone was doing.

I'm so sorry about your BFN. Totally stinks!

I'll be honest and say my PMA is rather low for this FET. The RE told us that it's a 60-70% chance it will make it through thaw and then a 25% chance of pregnancy from it. I know I need to work on my PMA but it's hard.

hi everyone..
please count me in for the winter cycle..i am supposed to start my stims at the end of december and do ER/ET in mid jan..there is a chance of me getting pushed a little further, depending on my blood work day after tomorrow.

leoria..i am sorry that you got a BFN..but im sure winter cycle is the one for you..we are also doing ICSI most probably and the quality question always upsets me..but at least i believe i am getting a better chance than trying naturally...

NancyB- its sometimes when we have low PMA that god surprise us with a miracle...

Sadly and thankfully I see quite a few familiar faces here. trying to get my PMA ready to cheer me along. I am currently waiting for AF. If she hasn't busted my door down for a visit by the 17th then I go to my Dr for a little assistance to bring her to town.

SweatPea - this was a FET. I was really hoping to break my 'losing' streak - so far every FET has been BFN. I've gotten 2nd and 3rd opinions on my FET protocol - but apparently it's just bad luck. Oh well - hopefully the next fresh will be good!

Margi - yeah for being PUPO! When does the POAS begin? When is your official beta?

Ryann- that is a SUPER strong BFP! Keep us updated on your beta!

Lauren - it's an official BFN? I'm so sorry to hear that.... have you gotten your blood count high enough to do another IVF cycle? I know the feeling of more 'bloody' days than not. I keep SWEARING that this will be the last box of tampons/pads I buy... hopefully Tampax/Kotex will suffer from our lack of business for the year to come! I'm dealing with a FET BFN, so I know there is a flood on the horizon. I'm not looking forward to the shedding of a FET lining!

Nancy B - Welcome! I hope your FET goes well. I'm sorry that money is such a big issue, like it is for so many on these boards. I'm super blessed to have my entire IVF covered until I have 2 children... other wise we couldn't keep going.

Lauren 1171----- I can't believe 12 eggs that is just amazing. Even though I am so sorry for the bfn but at least you can really make eggs. At our last fresh cycle we barely got 4 eggs so for me 12 is a dream. I am glad your blood work is improving and I am sure this cycle will be great.

Leora----- Again I am so sorry about the BFN I have no words but you are such an amazingly strong woman and I am blown away by how you are able to push forward and even start a whole new board for us. YOU ARE AWESOME. You so deserve to have a baby and you will. Fresh cycles have always worked for you and I just know this next one will be a great one

New People - Welcome!! I'll read your posts and catch up.

AFM - I had to take a couple of days off from all the IVF stuff. So sorry I was MIA. Several people asked what I am going to do with the girl embryos. Well I thought about that when we first started this. I thought about donation of the embryos, however I have a hard time with the idea that my husband I's child would be roaming this earth and I'd have no idea. I really didn't like that option. Discarding them was completely out of the question because its non benefitial. We decided that we would give the embryos for research and testing. Perhaps they can help discover something that would help couples down the road. I am really happy with that decision.

I told my husband I feel pretty numb about all this IVF. I am not excited one way or the other. I will know tomorrow what's going on with the PGD and if we are doing a transfer on Friday. I'm buying pineapple today just incase.
