For those of you that don't know, I'm from the Fall 2010 board.

To summarize: October IVF#1 ended in a BFN on 10/29. My WTF appt with the RE wasn't very insightful. He just said my estrogen level was on the lowish side, but couldn't quite explain what impact that would've had. I have 2 frozen blasts, one nearly perfect and the other is not great/not bad. The FET is scheduled for January 27th, and I start Lupron and Aygestin on December 22nd.

My RE has this effed-up holiday schedule, so I was forced to take November and December off. (The first month was a good break from the hormones and stress, but I'm so tired of waiting at this point.) He has had 90% success with the FET's in his office, (or so he says) but I'll believe it when I see it.

Hi all,

I'll be in this group as well. It's nice to see some familiar names. I just had surgery on monday to remove a fibroid, cyst, adhesions, and some endometriosis. Ugh, i feel like crap! The plan right now is to cycle with my next AF due Jan 8th as long as I get "pregnancy clearance" from my surgeon. Otherwise it will be February.

Trying to stay positive as this will be my 4th fresh cycle and 6th transfer. I got pregnant on my second cycle but miscarried at 12 weeks.

Tammy - So sorry hun. Life is so not fair. Will you continue?

Anna- Wow, that hpt should be a great beta #! I don't think you need to worry. Congrats!

Hello Ladies!

I'm also from the Fall board. We had our first IVF cycle with a negative outcome and no frosties (Even though we started with 21 embryos). One of the majors factors for a second attempt is $$$, but my Doctor said that as long as he had his expenses covered he was going to work with us.

It was very hard to get the news of the BFN but it made me appreciate the rest of the things that I have in my life (Family, husband, work, health).

We are planing for another fresh cycle in Feb or March... not sure... depends on $$$... Apparently our insurance will cover a part of it, so I'm really excited for the new year and start poking myself again!!!!

Leora: Thanks for making this board. I'm sorry for your BFN.

Hello girls!

I have been so lost on the board after being off here for awhile. I am glad to see a winter board I am waiting to start my AF which should be tomorrow. I am an every 28 days type of girl, so I am sure it will start tomorrow. I don't exactly know when I start my shots, but I do know the retrieval is the week of January 20th. I hope 3rd time is the charm for us because after this one we will be out of money for awhile.
