Nope, we didnt see anything in the u/s as expected.

My 4th beta is 335....It 69.05 increase...but still is not much...I am soo disheartened. When will we be able to actually enjoy being pregnant?????????

I am numb..dont know where this beta number leads us...

Is there still hope...? seriously??

Next appt is next Friday...there is no ways that I am waiting that long.U/S can wait but I will go in for a beta for sure.

Rio-Under 72meaning? I though 66% increase was still acceptable?
Is DH ok? Its really tough journey for all of us...we are strong women....but gosh...do we have to prove it time and time again

I am going in for another beta on Sunday for sure. This wait is killing me:oops:
My progesterone was 58 (Dec 9) and today is 47...is that a bad sign?

Your beta doubling time according to that calculator is 66.95 hours. The normal range is 31 to 72 hours so that means that you are still in the normal range for doubling betas. So that's a good thing. I am not sure of the progesterone but I think anything over 10 is ok.

DH is doing ok, men are less emotional, he thinks it is now less risk for the pregnancy but he is bummed, he is also worried about me since I have been crying non stop, mixed emotions, happy for the bean that's doing well, sad for the bean I am carrying that I will never meet. Oh sweety, please dont cry... I know it must be so tough...its just unfair. You take good care of yourself. You have one super healthy bean in you.
Sometimes I think it is better that men are less emotional and more practical, its helps to balance us out
My DH is not concerned with low betas at all, atleast thats what he portraits to me...
I am just very sad today...hopefully Sunday I have some good numbers. I understand that its imp that betas double or 66% increase...but not sure if this slow rising beta means healthy outcome.

Rio, I am so so sorry for your loss, but still hoping that the RE was wrong. Regardless, hoping you have at least one healthy baby to hold at the end of all this.. praying for you.

baby, I am hoping for the best for you as well. I don't know much about betas or IVF, in general, but hoping you have one healthy bean in there. Stay strong and positive thoughts!!

Baby - you read what I posted that you can have slow rising betas and still have a healthy baby. Your have alsways doubled in less than 72 hours which is the cutoff for non healthy growth. I know the uncertainty is hard but you are in no way getting bad news. You are pregnant with a healthy baby as far as I am concerned I have seen nothing that proves otherwise! Yes, men do balance us out, we don't need two head cases here! Thank you for your encouragement!

Baby--I can empathize with you in Beta Hell. It is totally the worst thing. The uncertainty is miserable. I agree--keep going in for betas so you can get some more information. So your u/s confirmed it wasn't an ectopic? Is that how I understand what RE was saying?! I am hoping and praying that things work out for you. The only advice I can give is to remain hopeful. "Try" to relax and have positive visualization and take care of yourself, while at the same time keeping your expectations realistic.

This is a difficult journey--use the support of all of these strong women!! We are completely here for you!!! I am rooting for your little bean!!

Margi- Thanks, trust me I am really "trying" to relax. Is so bloody difficult. All I have been doing is watching comedy on tv. I have to go for a baby shower today...Gosh I wish I could just stay at home...its so difficult sometimes.
Thats what I gathered from RE during u/s that its not ectopic....but again, my numbers are low dont know how he could have seen or not seen anything.

SD-Thanks! numbers are in normal range...but gosh...I want them to sky rocket...thats the only way my little bean will catch up and develop acc. to schedule right? Getting another Beta tomorrow morning.RE said to come in on Friday, cant wait that long, I am going in alternate day from now onwards...well if I could I would go in everyday to get beta tested...and drive myself crazier

Sorry to hear about the one twin. I can totally understand your being upset. Believe it or not, when I found out I was pregnant, I was sad that it was *just* a singleton for a little while, because I was told that both embies looked great the day of the transfer. I was really hoping for both to stick. So I can only imagine what you are going through. Take the time to grieve, it's only natural that you'd feel the way you do. And still a big congrats on the pregnancy

Beta- 417, it hardly 23 increase.

My u/s was Thursday, bur RE said that I can come in on Tuesday, there is no need for another beta.

Does this mean miscarriage or chemical pregnancy...I dont even know the difference...

Heartbroken...seems like this was not my time.
