TXP - That is awesome welcome the 2ww & CONGRATULATIONS on being PUPO!!!!!!

AFM - Was totally exhausted today which I saw as a good sign so I napped while DD was napping pretty much all afternoon. When I woke up I noticed some brown discharge like old blood - OMG I am freaking out - two positive tests in a row and now this! It is so typical of me I get excited & relax a little then my body smacks me back into reality - UGH. I know it could be nothing but it really feels like the beginning of my period - I will keep everyone updated I am having a hard time staying positive this has happened so many times before -

Hi. I promised I would update once I got results of beta. As I assumed it was BFN. So now I will have to make my WTF appt (as coined by Leora) to talk about my next step. When it rains it pours. I truly hope all of you are in a positive mindset. I think it really helps for a positive outcome. This is something I'll keep mind next time around with whatever wedecide to do. Take care girls... I'll check back with you all later... Most likely after the holidays. Good luck to all of u about to start cycling, and those of you that are now PUPO!

Hi everyone!
Margi You are a sweetheart, thank you soo much for yor support and your great attitude, I am very anxious waiting for my ultrasound, it will be on 12/28, I know I need to have faith but if for a second I don't feel tired or feel nausea or sore boobs I get terrified. I am hoping so hard that you see two lines soon!

leora Thank you for keeping that beautiful list updated, great job on the 50 laps.

Katie Thanks for the laugh, sorry you had that scare, I had a little bit of brown blood with my twins and things went well, I have heard brown blood is old blood that was already there, hope everything turns out good for you and Friday is almost here, praying for a greet beta number.

Mishell I am so sorry for your loss and your cycle results, I can only imagine how difficult time you are going through, praying for peace and comfort for you and your family.

Lou Great your numbers are better, crossing my fingers for your AF to arrive on time.

Rio I am so sorry about the loss of your twin and praying that your baby keep growing strong and healthy.

Heather Hoping you see two lines soon!

AFM Just waiting and waiting.

Hugs to all,
Ana

Katie, txcpforivf & Kelly - Wishing you guys great BFP'S and beta numbers!!

Margi - Wishing you BFP'S vibes, thank you for your nice thoughts.

Leora - It seems like next steps never come soon enough I really can't stand the wait

Ryann - Oh I am loving those beta numbers !!!!

Mishell - I am sooo sorry to hear about the BFN :(

cshell - I am sorry to hear about your BFN :(. They took my beta on 12/15 for the first round of IVF and it was a BFN. I was thinking negative after testing HPT 10 et and it was BFN. What are your next steps?

My appointment is tomorrow and to be honest, I am hopeing my RE tells me that there is a new break through in the IVF field and they have figured out how to produce and sticky BFP! Well I guess in my dreams. I truly don't know what to think about FET. I am guessing since I have 9 frosties that would be my next step but I guess I will see tomorrow. I just feel like this waiting game is killing me. I just want to get started again!!

Just my 2 cents.......adoption is difficult. My husband and I three years ago, took in my DH's second cousin. Her mother (my husbands 1st cousin) was using meth and about 3 1/2 years ago her daughter was taken by the state. When her daughter was taken from her they called us about 4 months after she was taken to foster care. Needless to say one court order later we picked her up from one state and took her back to California. When her mother's rights were severd my husband and I thought well now this should be a very easy process to adopt. Ok........well that was sooooooo wrong. We are now working on 4 years that she has been with us and still till this day her adoption is yet to go through! We have spent countless time and money just to have someone look over our case. Once the state knows you are taking responsability for a child with no cost to them, they will drag the process out as long as they can. So sorry I had to vent!! When I see people say you can adopt.........not as easy as they think!

Margi - ooooh! This is good - we are almost exactly opposite in our cycles - so one of us is POAS and the other can live vicariously through them! go POAS lady! I want to see pictures of your BFP!

Heather - don't worry about a BFN at 9dpo.... hopefully you'll see your BFP really soon!

Lou - I really hope AF cooperates! geez! That would be soooooo annoying if your cycle was delayed because the doctor doesn't work that week. Ugh. They can't give you prometrium or something to guarantee when AF comes? I've had a D&C but I'm no help. It was a missed miscarriage, and it took 10 weeks to get my hCG back to zero

Katie - I *love* that joke with the black bra! Awesome! I can totally imagine my DH responding that way!

Ginger - yeah! 2 blasts! Yeah! now just surviving the 2ww!

Mishell---- woww. I'm so sorry. We keep being told stories of ladies who get negative HPTs but apositive beta ---- why is that never us? This sucks. I'm so sorry. (and I wish I could take credit for the "WTF appt" phrase, but I heard it elsewhere!) Let us know what the next step is for you. I'm rooting for you,and I know we all are. Love and hugs (and I used to think people just said that here, because you need something to say -but I really feel it. I really wish you all the best and it really hurts me to hear of your BFN - - I hope it helps a little bit to hear that someone is crying for you all the way on the other side of the world. This really isn't fair)

Anacris - good luck at your u/s. It's always nervewracking to know you are pregnant, but not be reassured by that ultrasound yet. How many weeks along will you be?

Kari - Congrats on the BFP! You are far enough from the trigger that that's a real BFP! Congrats! I can't wait to hear a good beta number!

Andahsa - I know. I hate waiting for cycles even more than I hate 2ww..... weird no? Thanks for the adoption story. And you are lucky that she is family - to adopt a non-family member is INCREDIBLY difficult....

AFM - I live in a really small country and there aren't a lot of babies for adoption domestically. All domestic adoption is run through a government ministry department (btw - as a native American, I can't get over that we have "ministries" here - I feel like those were made up for Harry Potter!). Today we submitted our paperwork! YAY! We've officially applied to become adoptive parents. Apparently, it's really hard here, since they try to keep unwanted children within the birth family (like Andahsa's story), so 'stranger' adoptions are rare. The official waiting list is about 6 years (after you are approved). But we were told we might get moved higher on the list, since we are so young and waiting for our first.

We will continue with our cycle in January - I'm trying to keep my options open. Besides, I don't think I'll ever find the strength to do the IVF agian for a sibling, and we always wanted a bunch of kids. Maybe adoption will be the answer we are loooking for....

Hi all -
I'm moving over from the December board -- got my BFN yesterday. I'm not surprised in the least, but truly heartbroken. We are working on scheduling our WTF? appointment for this Thursday and will move on from there. We did IVF for severe male factor and it's looking like donor sperm might be our best solution. We purchased some as back-up during this IVF cycle so I think we will just go with it. The fun never ends...
-Dahlia

Me: 33, uterine septum successfully resected 9/10, FSH borderline high (10.21)
DH: 41, NOA

TTC 2 1/2 years
3/10 - first RE appt., dx possible uterine septum
7/10 - new RE, uterine septum confirmed, azoospermia dx
9/10 - septum resected, TESE (lots of healthy swimmers) and NOA diagnosed

11/10 - starting first IVF cycle... poking starts on 11/26
ER 12/6 - 12 eggs retrieved and TESE sample thawed with no problems
ET 12/11 - Everything starts to go downhill from here... embryo development slowed down significantly after day three
Beta 12/20 - BFN, no surprise - probably moving on to DS

Dahlia; so sorry about your BFN... it must be even more difficult when one half of a couple bears the weight of infertility and one does not. Not to say it's not a couple's burden... but my heart goes out to those individuals whose sole diagnosis changes the course of conception for both people.

I hope the DS works - I will be watching your progress and sending you great vibes.

Ok ladies, so I am 12PO (today) from a frozen transfer and I POAS'd last night and this morning. It was crazy, the test I took last night I looked at and it was negative so I through it away and then immediately got online to research how soon you can test. to make a long story short, I went and got the test out of the trash can about 10 minutes later and there was a second faint line!!! I tested again this morning and it again was a faint second line, so I'm guessing that is BFP for me I hope!! I will probably test again on Friday. I don't go for beta until 12/27.

Looks like I've missed a lot. Everytime I've tried to come on something has come up.

Michell- I'm so sorry for the loss of your MIL and your negative HPT. That's an aweful lot to deal with. :(

Dahlia- I'm sorry for your neg hpt also :(

Kildean23-I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Looks very promising.

Margi- Keeping my fingers crossed for that bfp.

I know I've missed a lot of you but I only had time to read a few posts, so I will try and catch up later with everyone else.
