Thanks Deidra! I am nauseous all day as well, it's horrible. I've been nibbling on 100 calorie pretzel packs which helps a little. I may try taking ginger capsules, I was told they help. Good luck with your u/s. Last week I had been told 1 and there was no heartbeat, I was stressed all week then on Friday we had 2 with heartbeats. To say I was totally shocked is an understatement. Hope you have a great week!
Hi Ladies,
So I had a scary week...
I'm traveling like a mad woman for work and its so hard to get people to help you with your bags and not lift anything... my colleagues don't know yet because its too soon to say etc.
Anyhow, I felt really rundown and not myself come Friday. Come Saturday morning, I went to the bathroom and I saw blood on my pantyliner kind of like I see when my period starts. I naturally called out for my husband to call the Dr. I wasn't sure what was happening. I immediately got into bed with my feet up and waited for the Dr. on call to return the call... When she called they told me to come in right away for an sonogram so that they can check that all is ok.
We rushed in as fast as we could but then the wait in the waiting room felt like an eternity. We got back in there and even the tech looked nervous as she began as she knew why we were there... thank god we heard that heartbeat and she said looks like you've got a figher in there. It was the most beautiful sound I've ever heard, even sweeter than the first time. The bleeding had stopped a little bit later that day and I've been laying down with my feet up ever since really.
The dr. reassured me that 60% of women in their first trimester do bleed or spot and its almost less normal not too. I hadn't seen blood since my last period so I freaked out which he said was natural to do too.
My husband has asked me to slow down with work and I'm going to try my best. I need to put my feet up more and rest.
I too feal nauseas alot as it comes and goes last night I woke up at 3 am nauseus. I have found that either granny apples or cereal do the trick. I'm really queezy but I hardly ever have to run to get sick.
I go back in on the 15th. If all goes well I get released to my regular OBGYN.
Diedra, glad to hear things are well! Gina congrats, I love the thought of twins!
I'll keep you posted.
remember to take care of you!
Hugs,

Hallo to all!
Congratulations Gina, I think twins are very special!
JerseyTouchDown, sounds like you are very busy for an early pregnant lady, you must really try to relax more!
Well I have read up on my high beta levels, it looks like the ranges for the differ from one country to another, I checked, according to our local ranges my levels was normal for the amount of weeks I am!
I am also very nauseas since last week and the exam stress the last two weeks just made things worse. I did find however eating small snacks and fruit during the day, keeps all under control.
Waiting for the scan date takes forever! My scan is on Thursday! Hope it is good news!
Deidraj We have a urine test available, that tells you the sex of the baby, I don’t know how accurate it is but I am definitely going to try it maybe you can find out about it! It is made by clearblue that also make preg and ovulation tests!
O.K ladies, good luck with all the early pregnancy niggles.
And remember…. every pregnant day is a blessing given to us!
Jersey, glad to hear everything is ok! I can't imagine how scary that is for you.
Wanababy, I've heard of the gender predictors. We are actually doing something special for ours. My husband is going to find out the sex, and then he will surprise me with what it is. He's always full of surprises like that, and he already has ideas on how to tell me, for either sex. I like the idea of finding out from him instead of a Doctor or Ultrasound Tech. It just seems more special to me that way.
AFM, my 2nd ultrasound was today. Everything was great, saw the heartbeat again, it was easier to see this time. The baby has definitely grown, I could see her right away this time & last time he had to zoom in before I could see anything. I have officially "graduated" to my OB/GYN and will call their office tomorrow. The Dr. said that they will probably want to see me in 2 to 4 weeks there. I also got a prescription for the nausea, hopefully it works. I'm also off the Prometrium suppositiories! Yay!!

Wanabay congrats on your twins, that's great news!
Deidra hope you're feeling better. I went to my first OB appointment on Friday. No exam or anything just talked about how "high risk" I am being pregnant with identical twins. Going for an ultrasound this Wednesday with the specialist to check on the twins. I guess I'll be seeing them often. We did one of the gender predictor tests and it said girls. We shall see!
Hello ladies. Haven't been on in awhile and just wanted to check in on everyone. My first OB appointment is next Monday, the 29th. I'm officially 10 weeks today. I'm starting to breathe easier that this pregnancy will definitely last. I was most worried about weeks 8 and 9 because from a lot of the signatures I've seen on here, it seems week 8 and 9 were common for M/C. I know I'm not totally safe, but with this baby kicking my butt with the nausea, I know she's a fighter and she isn't going anywhere (if you can't tell, I want a girl!). The prescription does help with the nausea, but it caused such severe constipation that I'm trying not to take it. Hopefully it just lasts the first trimester and that's it, so I'm almost done with it (fingers crossed).
I'm really looking forward to this week, 3 day work week and then Thanksgiving! I'm excited to be with family and having a good time. I haven't seen most of them since we found out so it will be nice to see everyone. Hope everything is going well with everyone!

Hey ladies - you may recall that my September cycle failed.
We went back to the clinic at the start of December to see where we go from here. The doctor gave us just 10-15% of IVF working for us on another cycle (reduced from 40-50% chance we were given for our first cycle). We have been pretty bummed about having to decide whether or not to spend all that money with such low chances of succes. But then life works in funny ways sometimes because this morning I just discovered I am pregnant!!!! naturally!!!!!!!! OMFG!!!!!!!!!
A brilliant Christmas surprise! Hope you are all doing well.
