Nice snowstorm and cute puppies. :) I am laying around on the couch today, the sun is shining and it's 60 degrees today. :) I'm trying to lay low, since every time I am up doing something I start bleeding again. Still have gunk, but just not red gunk..TMI  It's so gross. We go tomorrow afternoon to take another look.

How is everyone else doing?

Mello I'm sorry you are still dealing with the bleeding. It must be really awful to be on edge, especially during the christmas season. Good that you have normal gunk and not red gunk - that is a good sign. From what I hear there's lots of bleeding with the SCH but it all turns out in the end. I hope you get a doppler in the next few weeks so you can calm yourself with the heartbeats.

I've been MIA for days bc I have been sick! I can't believe it. Since Thursday I have been I'll with a bad cold. Runny nose, sore throat and low fever. Fortunately I saw my new OB on Thursday when I started to feel bad. She said rest, Tylenol and fluids. DH has been so sweet and taking care of me. Got released from RE or so I thought until they said they can't release me while taking PIO shots. So they want me to Just stop them for two days and then come do a pro level check. I said no. I'm sick and my OB wants me on it until at least 10 weeks. So they are like well we can't release you. I said I'm not in custody. I'm going to an OB so you don't have to worry about my progesterone.

So that's my world right now. Fever went away but I still feel yucky. Since we have a blizzard I'm just resting. Big hug to all. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. We have so much to cherish!
Sorry you are so sick! I've read that we are a lot more open to germs right now because our immune systems are protecting the babies. I am typically a very healthy person and so far haven't had any signs of sickness. I hope you feel better soon and take care of yourself.. A favorite of ours when someones' sick is a hot cup of water with honey and lemon. Very very soothing!

Hey Ladies,
It's my first time posting on this board. We are 7 weeks pregnant with a singleton with an EDD of August 15th. We have an ultrasound tomorrow and hoping to see a heartbeat. My mom recently has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Our retrieval was the same day she was diagnosed. The past month has been hell but our little guy is hanging on and is giving us something positive to think about. It's definitely helping my dad through this. Praying mom will get to meet our baby and that this pregnancy goes smoothly. And seriously all I want for Xmas is a HB tomorrow!!!!!!

2nd beta results - 5221 - so moving along nicely - praying for normal US & HB - as we all know great blood results does not equal great pregnancy - but I am trying to keep up the PMA since I am sort of freaking out right now - still having the spotting brown sometimes light pinkish but nothing heavy - wondering if it is from the crinone which has been known to have a little spotting from insertion - but it is still freaking me out - RE wants me to come in and have an ultrasound just to make sure - settle in little guys settle in little guys!

Blessedmom - Welcome! So sorry that your mother is battling cancer right now. I'm sure your little one has provided a lot of positive thoughts and hope for the future. Good luck tomorrow, I hope you can see the h/b!

katie - Great 2nd beta! I used Endometrin suppositories and also had some spotting for a few days which they figured was probably irritation from them.
.
Karen - hope you start feeling better soon!

AFM - had my first trimester screening today. The little one was acting all cute again in there. Did a few flips and kicks to start the show and then settled in so they could do all the measurements. NT scan looked great, they did 3 measurements of the fluid behind the neck and all were between 1.30-1.43 so that was looking good. I should have the b/w results by Friday and now I'm all set for my TAC surgery on Monday. Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!

Hi Anna - I don't mind you asking at all. :D I'll have a spinal or epidural for the surgery so I won't have to have general anesthesia. Then I'll spend 1, maybe 2 nights in the hospital and recover the rest of the way at home. I'm seeing Dr. Davis here in NJ so at least I know I'm in good hands. I'll be so happy when it's done though so I don't have it weighing on my mind every day.

Klinger wow I didn't even think about it but I guess they can do a spinal and its safe. I am so glad you are getting it done soon I am sure it will really put your mind at ease and I heard they are very effective. I also have a TAC is it true that we can only carry to 38 weeks?

Yeah, I was worried about surgery during pregnancy but once he said it could be done with an epidural or spinal I felt a lot better (though I'm still a bundle of nerves.) I never knew they could do a TAC while you're pregnant, but Karen was kind enough to get me in touch with Dr Davis and about 60% of the TAC's he does are post-pregnancy. While I'm not looking forward to those first few days of recovery, I'm definitely looking forward to that piece of mind that will come with having it in place. And yes, from what I've read 38 weeks seems to be the cutoff (in some cases 37 weeks if amnio shows the lungs are mature) so that we don't go into labor on our own. So my July baby will most likely be a June baby, which is fine by me!

Hi there. We had another ultrasound today, and found the SCH isn't growing, but it's not much smaller. There are still a lot of clots, and it appears to be coming from both placentas...who knows right now, it's tough to tell since it's quite large. Anyway...onto the good news! Both babies look great! I can't believe I am saying that after all the doom and gloom we were being told before. Even after we saw one heartbeat and then none!!! Craziness for sure. Baby A has a hearbeat of 162 and Baby B was at 158. A measured 7w6d, and B 7w5d...I am 8 weeks today. :) RE has told me to take it easy, and I am...but my house is showing it, and that is one thing that drives me nuts. All for these sweet little ones that are making me feel sick and tired all the time...not complaining, I will take it. :) Feeling blessed today. We think we will tell the kiddos today, I won't be able to hide this anymore...on my small frame it's obvious, and I have been sick. They are going to begin to wonder what is wrong with their mother. haha :D I most certainly am sporting a pot belly...not the normal look for me. Will have to bust out some maternity clothes soon.

Thank you all for your support and encouraging words. So thankful for this outlet, with out it I would surely be a mad woman. :) How are you all doing?

Oh, and I am feeling a little better about adding my due date to your calendar Rio. :) August 8th...All of mine have been early, so with two we will be lucky to make it to the beginning on July. Things are still touchy with the SCH, but we are holding on tightly to hope.

There are my little beans :) The bleed is under baby A, but this doesn't show the full size of it, it extends to the other side of baby B. Baby B is to the right of it.

Just wanted to share our little miracles with you...since it's sooo stinkin hard to to believe what we have been through. :)

Mellow - CONGRATULATIONS!! I am so happy to read such a wonderful post from you today! The babies look great and you keep resting, it definitely sounds like it's helping. That housework will just have to wait a little longer I guess.

Anna and Rio - LOVE the pics of your fur babies! Just adorable! :D

Katie - Awesome second beta! Reserved excitement is completely understandable. So enough you'll allow yourself to be overcome with excitement. :D

Amanda - Woo hoo for a great u/s! I'm sure the b/w will come back great, too. Best wishes on Monday! As scary as it may be right now, you're doing what's best for your little guy/gal. So stay strong, momma! It sounds like you're in GREAT hands! :D

Blessed - Can't wait to hear about your u/s! Sending lots of prayers and positive vibes your way for your family during this very tough time.

Mellow - WOW! Congrats! I know you and DH must be on cloud 9 after seeing your happy, healthy little beans. You sure deserve it!!! Maybe after you tell your bunch the good news, they'll all pitch in around the house to help Mom's sanity.

afm - No appts this week. But I go in Monday to meet OB and have an u/s to check the size of my SCH. I've been spotting old blood for weeks now. That thing HAS to be getting smaller, right??? I think the one closest to my cervix has been gone for awhile, and the spotting is coming from the one higher in my uterus. We'll see. I haven't taken my Zofran for two days now and I'm feeling okay! I'm hoping to "unbind" a bit, I've been miserable from constipation since I started the Zofran. No one should hafta eat this much bran and prune juice until they're little old people!

Today is 13 weeks for us! We have officially made it out of the first trimester :D :D Feels like it took FOREVER, but we made it, and I'm feeling more at ease.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic Tuesday!!! :D
