Si I am told I am worrying for nothing but I wanted to run this past you girls. My first beta was 247 at 14dpo and second beta was 725 at 16 dpo with a 30 hour doubling time but my 3rd beta being 3578 at 21dpo had a doubling time of 52 hours which scared me. RE says that it is fine and that my ultrasound was normal but I am still nervous. Is is normal to have this kind of a drop off in doubling time?

Congratulations for starters!! I would just like to say that numbers aren't everything. Try to have faith and trust what your RE is saying. I am sure he would let you know if something were wrong. The numbers are just a guide. Hang in there, allow that little miracle to grow and calm your nerves. As much as I know time is crawling for you now, soon enough you will be holding that little person in your arms!

annashope - I agree that it should be fine. They want to see it double every 48-72 hours so you're still well within that. My doubling times were 46.6 hours, 49.82 hours, and 50 hours.

Thank you girls so much for putting my mind at ease I really appreciate it. I was going a bit crazy and even asked for another beta and today at 26dpo the beta is 12797 (that's from 3578 last Thursday) so I promise to remain calm from here on...lol I guess after you have experienced all of the ups and downs of beta hell in the past, it is hard to stay calm and accept a miracle when it happens to you

Anna - Great beta!! And you're so right - it's DEFINITELY hard to stay calm and accept a miracle. Especially when so many of us have suffered through beta hell with a bad outcome. But your numbers are looking fabulous this time and I can't wait until your next u/s!
