I am self-injecting delestrogen and soon will start PIO before an FET for the first time. I have heard many experiences of IM as painful but I have absolutely NO PAIN at all (I do ice the injection spot before administering). I was given the shorter 1 inch, 22 gauge needle and am worried that it's not getting into the muscle? I am pretty small with a low BMI-- I weigh about 107 or 108 and I'm 5"5 and the needle is going in all the way.

What do you think?
From what I hear, the E2 injections are not bad. I suspect you are doing it right. If you have doubts, see if your clinic will run an E2 on you to make sure.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
Just to let you know...I never found the PIO injections painful and I did not ice.
I think people feel pain differently, esp different types of pain. I was so afraid of my first shot, but realized that the only thing I felt was the initial poke. Once the needle actually broke the skin, no pain.
I also have a baby from IVF, so I am sure I was doing it correctly!
