Margi - yeah another ones succumbs to the DHEA pusher - me! ;) ABout the royal jelly, I remembered that on the Fall board Miamibaby told me how much she used, I never got around to it. Wheatgrass and royal jelly were on the list but I just never ended up doing them. I heard wonders. Are you and DH on COQ10s also? Yeah, I am a COQ10 pusher too ;) Did you have a chance to look into mini IVF? Your response is good so it should work... Sending you tons of PMA!

Kimber I picture an aisle where the guys are in plastic boxes and the description is on the box, humm this one, not that one ;) I am a big animal lover too so glad you went with one. Quick question, they are anonymous but give you an adult picture?

Katie - I am so sorry for your loss, I think we here understand better than anyone since most of us have suffered losses too. It takes time to heal. I hope and pray you get your baby.

Lou - yickes! Nothing like a huge project in the midst of IVF, try to stay sane! Doing the AF dance for you!

Heather - Did you have to check ketones every morning when with GD?

Riya - you can have a negative HPT and still have a positive beta!!!!

Heather: Thanks for the MOJO assistance!! :-) Glad that DH will be here 2 more weeks...and, here's to you!!!Image

Nwquiz: I am so hoping that that was no evaporation line and that was signaling a BFP for you tomorrow. I am totally hoping and have everything crossed for you.ImageImage

Riya: Best of luck!!! Keep the BFP list going... I need to get on that train!!!

Katie: Your embies look amazing!!! no wonder your RE was excited! Mine said some people do better on FET than fresh cycles... so sounds like a great plan!

Rio: GD is difficult... but take really good care... and try to keep your glucose down... it'll help your lil'one quite a bit!!!

margie: best of luck figuring out what else to do... but you sound like you have a wonderful plan!

sweatpea 614: best of luck in this cycle!!!

AFM: I got the call about the labs... apparently the little spotting and bleeding was my AF post IVF... and my hormones are low... so they told me to start BCP and decide what we want to do... My RE said he wants to do the FET ASAP... we have 2 embies... I talked to my DH and he's not sure... he's thinking it's better to do another fresh one.. because we might end up with one embie for the transfer or none... What would you do??? (of course... we need to get a loan for the fresh cycle and not so much for the FET...but my mother said she can loan me some money so the bank loan is not that big...)
Married 10+ years
TTC 6+ years
fresh IVF's x5... all bfn...
First FET... WOW. First ever BFP!!!
Miracles happen everyday... we just have to keep the faith and wait for ours...
Praying and hoping everyone's dreams and wishes come true!!!

Rio - lol, I didn't quite faint, but did get overwhelmed seeing all those meds, syringes, and needles right in front of me. SO sorry to hear about your GD; that really is a bummer. One of my sisters went through GD during her pregnancy while the other one didn't, so I'm hoping I don't go through it myself. I can't imagine being on a strict diet while being pregnant. SO sorry you have to go through that annoyance, but hoping for the best for you!

Sweetpea614 - thanks! what really sucks is that DH faints almost every time he gives blood. I tell him it's all psychological, but he doesn't buy it. He usually needs a few days of notice before getting his blood drawn, but today, he was only given an hour on a day he barely got an hour of sleep. A couple times in the past he has fainted and seized right before my eyes and the lab techs don't really know how to handle such situations. We now request for the techs to accommodate him by laying him down and then drawing up his blood, which helps somewhat. And we always take some orange juice with us for him to drink post-procedure. He got really nauseous, but didn't faint this time, thankfully.

Katie - It's difficult to get closure when you are unsure as to what happened. So sorry you had to go through that! Hoping 2011 will be your year! Lots of baby dust to you!

Lou - I'm just a paranoid oddball! :P There was no reason to think that the pill fell out of my mouth, but I just had to psych myself out! lol. Yikes, sounds like you have your plate full of work! Easier said than done, I know, but try to take it easy. When is your AF expected to start? Hoping it arrives soon!

Margi - I'm hoping for the best for you! Lots of baby dust to you!

SD - welcome back! Hope you had a nice holiday with your family! Yay for the AF's arrival! :D

Ryann- I totally understand! Work is the only place/time I have to update here! :D

Heather - I really hope everything works out with the breast doctor. Cancer is seriously one thing you *don't* need on top of everything else. I hope all is clear and you get to try the IVF again really soon!

Kat - Jury duty? Seriously? Of all things! I hope he gets out of it for the ER! (and I'm one person who is usually in favor of everyone doing their civic duty and not just "getting out of jury duty"! but your wife being in the hospital is a good excuse!)

Kelly - I always copy my whole post before I press submit. This site is not the most advanced and sometimes whole posts get lost! Just a few more days until beta #2! You are welcome to stay here - and move to the other side! Lots of people stalk both boards just to keep track of everyone they know!

Sunshine 12 - Friday or Saturday this week? So you are triggering soon? yay!

Ginger - AWESOME! congrats!

jmbella - hi! welcome aboard!

Kimber - I did accupuncture with my last FET. The FET didn't work. But I'm still interested in accupuncture again. I didn't like the lady I was with so much - so now I'm looking for a new accupuncturist. Shopping for a sperm donor sounds fun! We are still using DH's for now, but sperm donor is our "plan b".... I married the first man I ever dated - so maybe sperm donors is my chance to check out the field! :D

justsolost - I never did a Lupron cycle - so I can't help you with that. But definitely call your clinic to clarify things.... that's what you pay them for!

Sunshine 1576 - I'm sorry your DH's SA didn't look good..... can you do IVF (ICSI) again?

Hope - yes, the BCP are tiny! I'm always afraid I'll lose it! :D but they go down really easily. Better than some other pills I take! I'm sorry your DH had to run and do more blood work. But at least it got done in time, right? I used to pass out everytime I had blood drawn or got an injection - the needles did made me faint. I've gotten over that, luckily!

Margi - welcome back! I hope you had a great time in Florida (where you there on business, family business or pleasure?) I really hope you figure something out.... it breaks my heart that a stupid thing like money can come between people and their chance to have babies....

Riya - HPT results? :D I'm a POAS-pusher!

Rio - so sorry to hear about your GD.... sounds like my HG - I dread getting pregnant.... but I'm dying to anyways! Ahhhh.... the things we do..... - also, I haven't been pushed into DHEA by you! What is DHEA? If my eggs are all good quality and mature (and lots of them - 18 last retreival) is that something I should look into, or not?

nwquiz - good luck with your beat today! I hope the negative HPTs were just too early!

Katie - again, I'm so sorry for your loss.... moving forward with a FET can be really hard, but then again, after my miscarriage the thing I wanted most was to get pregnant right away again.

Lou - Pittsburgh! yuppers! Tammy lives right near there, in Akron OH. Hebrew is the main language spoken here, but Arabic is also an official language (I don't speak a WORD!). English is super common with all the tourists around. French and German are heard everyday on the street.... but Hebrew is awesome - I always learned Bible in Hebrew in my Jewish day school - it's really weird to speak it as a language. The same language I learned about God - now I swear at cab drivers!

- and Lou - I've also done 5 transfers, no baby..... NUMBER SIX FOR THE WIN!

SD - welcome back! I saw you posted on other boards, but not here - but that's okay! Everyone got busy during the holidays - welcome back!

AFM - nothing new to report! I wish there was! Tomorrow is my last BCP so that I can get my period and do the HSG on 1.18..... T-08 days until GREECE!

Katie has the doctor tested you for blood clotting disorders or mentioned putting you on a blood thinner?

Lou- I feel for you and of course the one thing they tell you is not to stress but hard when you have jobs that are stressful. Relaxation massages I heard help. This cycle falls when we are in the middle of moving a plant and I'm flying solo pretty much till the middle of February. My boss will be flying back and forth from Georgia. My boss is so sweet though and he goes do not worry or stress about work, if you need to leave or not be there due to doctors appointments the work will be there tomorow. He's amazing I have to say and has been completely understanding about what I've been going through. I'll have to work from home while recovering from egg retrieval.

Nwquiz- I'm so sorry please dont give up hope. I did a urine test before and got a negative and my blood work came back positive.

Leora-I hope the next 8 days fly by for you. How's the weather in Greece right now?

Margi- I'm sorry to hear that. I would think with the more people getting ivf these days that it would become much cheaper. I'm actually on my 2nd of 3 chances with my insurance. Not sure what I will do if it doesn't work.

Hopisallihave- Oh geesh a fainting husband not good. Both my kids pass out cold the minute the needle goes in and get very nauseaus. My daughter scared her doctor once beause she was out for over a minute smelling salt wasn't working. Not sure if this is true but my gf recently told me she had researched it and it's not here fault something in there body changes when the needle goes in and causes them to pass out. I'm going to ask her doctor the next appointment if it's true.

SD welcome back :)

I'm sure I forgot a few. I will try and catch up on the rest of personals later.

Nothing new to report here. Went in for labs this morning and will get next instructions later.

All this talk about donor sperm reminds me... my son donated blood to make money in college and was looking forward to graduating to donate sperm because it brought in alot more money. Not sure if he ever did, but if you run across a 23 year old with a BA in English, musician / songwriter, 6'0 tall with auburn / brown hair and blue eyes, let me know. He has a couple tatoos (no huge ones, all discreet), but no piercings. How crazy would that be if one of you were to have my grandchild.... uh,

Hello Ladies,

Leoira how are you? Hope you are doing well.

Just wanted to join this page so that I can keep updated one the status of all of you ladies.

As for me I am patiently waiting for my beta on 1/9, really excited and nervous at the same time.

At my er they retrieved 9 eggs, but only 2 were a/b grade and those are the ones that we used for ET.

I did my et on 12/27 the day of the wonderful December Blizzard on the east coast. But we made it and did the et.

Sending baby dust to all of you ladies.

Hope to hear from you.

Riya and nwquiz Image I am sorry that you got negative HPTs but you could still be surprised by a beta and I hope you both get a huge big fat positive surprise!

Jamie - just a few more nights of sleep and you get your BFP!

CJinNC - maybe you should set your son up with Kimber on a date and save her some $$$ ;) Just kidding, he sounds like a great donor!

Sweetpea - so glad you have a good boss, my boss went through 7 IVFs with his wife so he is an angel! Hope you get great lab results!

Leora - your comment on sperm donor cracked me up! Sorry you were feeling left our of my DHEA pushing, I didn't mean to ignore you, you have great quality eggs and plenty of them, DHEA is more for girls that have a low antral follicle count, hormone imbalance of some kind, problem with eggs fertilizing. It doubled the amount of eggs for me from 7 in my first cycle to 14 on my 3rd cycle. So I really don't think you need it :)

SD - thanks for the offer, I will definitely PM you :) Glad my AF dance worked!

Hope - sorry you have such an issue with DH fainting! How is the lupron?

Long timer ivf I think I agree on doing Fresh now and FET later

Heather - god luck and a clean bill of health for you!

Off to the endocrinologist with me!

hey ladies thanks for all the support on my bfn which sucks big time.
but oh well had a terrible day at work stressing myself. then dh calls and tells me he wants us to try again for the last time. he want to secure a small loan for this since we maxed out savings and refinanced etc and all cash is out. am kinda scared coz of the odds of it succeding. i know i should keep the faith but its getting old. my doc dint even call me back today so am just discouraged. maybe you good ladies can chip in and assist with your left over gonal or follistim if anyone has some left. at this rate am at bottom pit and want an uplift. any help is appreciated.

NWquiz - will you be doing Lupron at all? I have a small amount of that left over - it might get you through a week or two? Not sure what your dosage would be. I don't have any other drugs left over - sorry - good luck & what a darling darling husband you have! The one thing I can definitely say about this whole process is it has made my marriage a rock solid one & has brought out a whole new side of him which I love. :D
