Ok girls I went to my US today and they saw two sacs!!! One was small with nothing in it and the other one was larger and had the yolk. I am scared, shocked and going crazy cause for those of you that know, I have twin 2 year olds running around the house!!! They said they aren't sure about the smaller one yet but I go to get another US on 1/31. Has anyone been in a similar situation with one being smaller and seeing nothing in the sac.

I really wish I had won the jackpot, it really is not fair that we have to worry about money in oder to fulfill our dreams of a family, I really wish that I had won the lottery and I would pay for every one of your cycles until we all had babies! I can dream and keep playing the Lotto right?

Nwquiz - your Dh is a sweetheart. Was he able to find another job? I am so sorry to hear he was laid off. The financial burden is really hard. Big huge hugs and prayers that you can find a way to afford another cycle and that it brings you your miracle baby - or two!Image Have you thought of taking a break and doing DHEA? Yep I am the official DHEA pusher around here ;)

Lou I thought you were a doctor, I knew you were in the medical field somehow! Image We are all doing the AF dance for you! Remember to take a breath once in a while and regroup, think about fun things. Don't let the stress at your job put a toll on your body, we need you nice and relaxed for your Image

Sweetpea614 - Reminds me of the the first dose of follistim that I got, we did it with the training pen my nurse left in our box so I got a nice saline injection! Didn't figure it out until the next day! I am glad it all worked out!

Sunshine 1576 - let us know what RE says.

Sunshine 12 I know we all want tons of follicles and tons of eggs, but sadly it does not happen to most of us. I was on the boards with a girl in 2008 and same thing happened to her, 1 egg, it fertilized and now she has a healthy baby! So it really does only take one, keep your PMA! Image grow follies grow! Lets get some little sunshines going!!!!Image

Margi My dear friend, I now think that you should visit Leora ;) I sent you an email with some info! Yeah call me the crazy IVF pushy buddy! ;) I call it the Margi Baby Image conspiracy! ;) Let us know what your RE has to say, I also think you might consider other options, I am still mad Image at them for not seeing you on a Sunday for SnS... Yeah I hold grudges ;)

Heather - when do you get checked out?

Leora - T-how many days now? Image I am so excited for your trip with DH! I also thought that swearing in Hebrew at cab drivers was hysterical! Get those follies nice and relaxed and ready for the job ahead!

AFM - thank you for all your great thoughts and help. I got my insulin yesterday and spoke to OB and he said as long as I am following my diet and doing what the endocrinologist said that I should not stress out, what a relief! He also said my ovaries were still a swollen mess (yep they hurt like a s**oa**b*) but the great news is that bean is measuring a week ahead and very well. It was still very sad to see the no longer alive twin at the same time :( but I am so blessed. I am sprinkling baby dust and praying that every single girls here gets her miracle. Thank you for still letting me hang out here and cheer my girls!

Rio- I went today for my consult and unfortunately they weren't able to do a biopsy because what he said I need to have a surgical biopsy. Let me explain what happened. When Aimee was born and I was breastfeeding/pumping I developed severe mastitis and after 2 weeks of 2 antibiotics the swollen area went down but left a small hematoma the size of a dime. My OB told me it would go away in a month or so. Well 11 months later its spread to 4 to 5 cm and the Doctor today said he is confident its not breast cancer, but he still wants to rule it out but the biopsy would leave a 1 inch or bigger scar and then they would have to go back in to have it removed. So I asked him for a consult with a plastic surgeon so I could kill 2 birds one 1 stone and have it removed and fixed at the same time. So I hope to find out more tomorrow.

Im sorry Ive been a terrible cheerleader to all of our current cycle ladies! Aimee would have been 1 next week and DH and I wanted to still do special things on that day so our family and friends have been giving us ideas to do. So far we are getting special tattoos (tasteful) to remember her, (sorry mom) LOL and still figuring out the rest. I still keep you all in my prayers every night and hope to be joining you for next months cycle!

Quick post---I will post more later.

Heather: I am so sorry for this difficult time for you. All of your sweet and caring gestures with the nurses and staff are really wonderful. I think a tattoo (tasteful) is a fine remembrance of Aimee if that is what you and DH want to do. You need to do what helps you heal. Take good care of yourselves and so sorry you are having to deal with the breast issue on top of everything. You are so strong. One step at a time.

RIO: You scared me girl!! I was worried when I didn't hear back from you....so glad that all went well today and that your BIG bean is doing great. I too, mourn the loss of your twin. You will never truly get over it, but it will get easier. Lots of ((HUGS)). And, you may be onto something with that trip idea!! That website got me very excited!! You are an awesome researcher!! That and the lottery...great ideas! :D

Hello Ladies! Sorry for my lack of personals tonight, but we have plans and have to leave as soon as we do my PIO injection.

I had my second beta today...3300 That puts me at a doubling rate of 52 hours based on the calculator i used. Is that good? Normal? Any insight? I really don't know anything about beta numbers or most definately doubling rates! HELP!

They have moved my next beta and u/s to 1/12 from 1/21. I hope it is just a scheduling issue and not that something is wrong.

I also made my first appointment with my OB here in town today. I go see her on 2/2.

Hope you are having a great evening!

Bakersbaby - My suggestion is to just enjoy your pregnancy & don't worry about the numbers - each person creates HCG differently & I have seen those with low numbers & low doubling rates have perfect babies & those with perfect numbers not have that and vice versa it can go both ways. So just enjoy it! Your pregnant! An CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

CJ - i had 32 follicles, 23 eggs retreived, 16 fertilized and they put 2 blastocysts in on day 5 they didnt freeze any because my RE wont freeze them unless they are top notch. he said they waste too many babies trying to unthaw them.

Baker - my doubling time is 27 hours first beta was only 68 so i was sure something was wrong and then 5 days later it was 1466!!! my first sonogram is 1/17! dont worry about those numbers...all that matters is that they double

Bakersbaby----- after 1500 beta slows down to doubling every 60-72 hours so you are just fine and it slows again to 4 days after 6000 so don't worry. My betas were doubling every 30 hours until I crossed somewhere over 1500 and then it was every 52 hours and I was worried and then I found out it was perfectly normal. Congratulations and believe me you will never stop worrying...LOL

Hello ladies. I just wanted to check in with everyone. I've been super busy at work and it doesn't appear that it's going to slow down anytime soon. I'm hoping to start yoga or something before my injections to relieve some stress. I did call my RE's office to find out what's next after the lupron and was told to wait until the injection class on the 18th. But the pharmacy called to check in on me and said that once they receive my prescription that they would call me back with the list of my meds. Yea for the nice pharmacist. And you guys were right. My office does cycles every other month so when I went in at the end of November they just stuck me on wonderful BCPs as a way to regulate me I guess. So I'll be starting a 3rd pack soon but will take the last one on the 28th. So I'm just pill popping for now and enjoying everyone's progress and great news.

Baby dust to all!!!!

Sorry, not much time for personals yet, as I will soon be self-administering my first Lupron shot! Lou, I'll try not to psych myself out! lol

So I FINALLY got my case manager to email me all my labs. Now I'm looking at it and going huh? They're all supposedly normal, but how normal/good, I'm not sure. I haven't started my research on it yet; been too busy with school work since receiving these results. Maybe someone can help me interpret or provide some insight based on your knowledge/experience? On Day 3, my FSH level was 7.30 and E2 level was 35.1. I'm also looking at the antral count of 18 from November's US. Is that any good? I have been told that I have PCOS; how bad the case, I'm not sure. I know my LH:FSH ratio was pretty bad, nowhere near 1:1. Gosh, I forget the numbers.. I think it was 1:2.2? Can anyone make anything of all this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Time to open up that box and find my Lupron. DH is working with the video camera right now; he wants to videotape every little thing, oh boy!

Thinking of all you wonderful, supportive ladies!! I'll try getting around to personals later, maybe after I whip out some homework!

Rio, I really liked reading your "personal page" tonight! Wish we could all go to Vegas and play the lottery, but it shouldn't stop us from dreaming, right? THe PMA is contagious tonight and one thing dh said is to make this work we have to remain positive!
Thanks for setting that example with all of us!

SDTrying, please be careful with all the flu/cold patients. One of my clients today told me about a 33 yr old mother last week. She had flu-like symptoms and ignored them for the longest time, she was admitted c/o severe chest pains, couldn't breathe turning blue, bp dropped and she coded in ER. The doctor said her blood was poisoned from being sick with the flu and that night, over 27 family members surrounded her grieving over their loss. I ahd chills just hearing the story, but we have to take precaution and if we start to have symptoms of the flu and nothing over the counter is working, get your butt to the ER! Sorry my post is not very energizing but I tend to try to look out for others anyway.

Just-So-Lost, my dh downloaded some yoga off I-Tunes for me last night...It's called YOGAmazing and I love it! Think it even has yoga for hangovers on it lol, but seriously i like "yoga before bed" and it's very relaxing. I used to belong to a fitness club, and at some point all I did there (when I went) was yoga. So that's when it was decided why not try Netflix or Itunes at the comfort of home!

I still have alot more fabulous IVF sistas out there and will be touching base with you soon!

AFM: Spend today's lunch break over the phone with my RE trying to resolve some objections. DH and I are not seeing this eye to eye. He wants IVF, while I thought since his S/A came back normal we would try an IUI with fertility drugs. Doctor told me even if I had endometerosis, it wouldn't affect our IVF cycle, but would matter if we decided on IUI. Regardless, I still want laproscopic surgery just so I can have peace of mind, and it would raise our success rate with an IUI to 15-20%. We are also considering DHEA which would determine the quality of my embryo(s) geneticly speaking-- but can only be done with an IVF cycle. DH wants us to sleep on it tonight...Will call the doctor on Monday with our final decision.

Hi my name is Kristin and I am hoping to join. This is my first time on a message board. I will be 38 in March and have been TTC since Dec 09. I have had several months of failed IUI's with Clomid and Letrozole. I am FINALLY trying IVF. I started Lupron 12/22/10 and began my stim meds 1/1/2011. I go for bloodwork and ultrasound tomorrow. My egg retreival is scheduled for Jan 11-14 timeframe with a transplant 3-5 days later. Any and all advice is welcome. I am scared to death!!! I started acupuncture so hopefully that will help. I have PCOS and have type 2 diabetes which is very well controlled. by the way, what does DH stand for? My husband has no problems. I have undiagnosed infetility because I am ovulating with the meds and my AC1 is 5.8.

Another question...I had 15 follicles prior to stim meds...do the meds create new follicles or just grow the ones I have? 15 sounds great but because of the PCOS they usually just turn into cysts!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Ladies,

Hope all is well on your end, but I am still patiently waiting. It is not easy but I am two days away from my 1s beta on 1/9.

Margi - I am trying not to work myself up, which is why I keep saying that I am patiently waiting. My girlfriend keeps telling to POAS and I said no that I rather wait until Sunday. I don't want to get myself all worked up if it says a BFN so I am going to wait.

Lou - Thank you for your encourage words.

Kelly - Good luck with Beta #2 today.

I will keep you ladies posted once I fight out the BFP.

Baby Dust to you all.

Good Morning Ladies!

Not quite sure what this means but I know on day 2 I had 17 antral follicles today I went in and I had 6 on one ovary and 4 on the other all under 10. I had one of my left at 11.5.( I'm really hoping it's not like last cycle where I had a lead follicle shoot up past them all so they had to trigger me before the rest where ready. ARGH! I'm on cycle day 8 and day 6 of stims. And normally it's 8-10 days of stims. I should get a call later today.

Jamie- fingers crossed for you.

Kristin welcome!

SDtrying- 15 sounds like a great number. February will be here before you know it.

Hopeisallihave- how did your first shot go?

Justsolost-So glad you have a great pharmacist. I think the pharmacist is the ones tot alk to when it comes to the meds anyways. My doctor didn't even know some of the meds put me at a higher risk for blood clots. I constantly have to remind him no birth control.

Bakersbaby-Great second beta

Heather-I love the tatoo idea. I thought of the same thing for my Dad and my daughter Brittnie who died 4 hours after birth.

Rio- It's normal to be sad for the loss of the twin. Glad the other one is lookign great. Glad your eno said everything is going to be ok.

Kildean-glad your ultrasound looked good. Also the other may have implanted later so it could be a little behind the other.

txcplforivf- Wow that's a lot of eggs. I wish i could get that many. Unfortunetly I'm fertile but not that fertile the docs said.

Leora-Greece is getting closer. Yay. If this IVF cycle does not work I think I may tell the DH we are taking time off and takign a vacation someplace tropical.

If I missed anyone I'm sorry. I hope everyone is having a good day. And baby dust to all.
